Look at the bright side...you'd get to see him stiff Jeff Jarrett and no sell his offense.

That is surprising. -
Yeah, He doesn't deserve to get paid on Wednesdays... Seriously...I don't understand how working in TNA is going to do anything to affect Ring of Honor. In fact...2 years from now when CM Punk is still around without the opportunity to have been signed away by WWE...maybe then someone will realize those TNA contracts are GOOD for RoH.

Yeah...I wish we could have completed the comeback against Ohio State...but as a MAC team my dream is to finish the year in the top 25. That alone will help so much with recruiting against other MAC schools that the team can stay good for longer. Big win today...and a big FU to the coach's poll.

I agree. I don't remember what tape I was watching but I really got into what Homicide was doing. He doesn't look like he'd be an awesome worker...but he is. I think the match was a six man where Joe kept dropping knee bombs on him...but I might be mistaken.

That's awesome. Daniels is great at getting other guys over. Did you like Punk's entrance? I was going to mention that. Both Punk and Corino have awesome enterances so watching them come out for the match was real fun. Plus...everyone was so into both guys that it was a great atmosphere.

I wanted it for the Daniels/London match (and hey...2 Paul London matches and 2 Chris Daniels matches is good news for me...plus...I like Red) and I've heard great things about the Punk/Homicide match and wanted to check that out.
-
One thing of note...Daniels (who was super over of course) really got Walters over big time with the crowd. After his match with Daniels people were into Walters, so when he returned to take Teddy Hart's place in the 4 way people wanted him to win, and were happy when he finally did.

Which members of Special K were in the tag match? I don't know their names, sorry. I'm pretty sure it was the same two that won the titles though. Did you pick up any tapes? Meet any of the guys? I bought the DVD for Round Robin Challenge 2 and my friend bought the Bitter friends, Stiffer Enemies tape (he has all the previous ones already) and a NOAH tape. I went to get something to eat but I did see Chris Daniels spending a long time posing and talking with fans and I know Justin Credible did the same. I saw the Carnage Crew about as well.

Did Dunn and Marcos do the AIR GUITAR!!!~ Indeed they did. Who won Maff v. Whitmer? Whitmer. Did the fact that both guys were heels ruin Punk v. Corino? Actually...they used that as the story. Corino took it upon himself as the veteran heel to teach Punk how to be a true heel. After being slapped by Punk he stayed down till almost the 10 count...and while Punk was confused he used the advantage to dominate the next several minutes. Then...when everyone wanted 5 more minutes, Corino played the face and said "Yeah...let's give these people what they came for" and when it looked like they would continue he said "Now you turn to the crowd, and tell them they have to pay to see it next time". Awesome heel work...and the prematch is too wacky to discribe. It involved Corino's announcer spending FOREVER listing all the great wrestlers who used drugs...and then Punk handing the announcer a list of all the drugs he's never taken...which went on just as long. Hilarious. How awesome is Julius Smokes? Is that Homicide's manager?
-
Oh...and Special K was busted open during their title defense.
-
Joe did the kick twice. And he dove through the ropes and wiped out Homicide HARD. Then later Homicide did his Tope. Dunn and Marcos were so over that I was very happy to see them win. They had some well thought out spots in that scramble.

I enjoyed the show a lot. It was a great atmosphere and all the matches were fun...except for Xavier/Sabin which was basically a SQUASH. Sabin hit about 4 moves the whole match...but that's probably for the best as Xavier couldn't take any of them properly anyway. It was like watching one guy with a ton of talent lose to a guy with none. Actually...that's exactly what it was. Daniels/Walters was great. Joe/Homicide was a little short...but it wouldn't have been believable going longer really, as they both started right off pounding each other and never let up. Corino/Punk was interesting...but it didn't really get good until near the end.

Wouldn't they get sued? -

14-0 Falcons with 12:01 left in the first quarter!!!
-
7-0 Falcons. I get the feeling this is going to be a high scoring affair. I'm so pumped...and I have to leave in 20 minutes!!!!

I hope we take it. It's better for the MAC if we don't...but today I just want to win. I want to win to stick it to the coach's poll. We beat Purdue (who they have ranked 10) and lost to Ohio State by 7 (who they have ranked 8) and handily beat all the lesser competiton. And where are we ranked in the coach's poll? Oh that's right...we're not.

Today is the day. ESPN Live from my former campus. It's time to dish out some revenge. Of course...I'm going to Spencerport for the RoH show...and will miss all but the first hour of the game... That's what tapes are for I guess. I hope my Falcons win. Just because Northern Illinois handed them their first loss last year after they got into the top 25. PAYBACK TIME!!!

No one ruins a whole folder other than Punch.

Once again RRR comes back to misunderstand the point of season 7.

NWA:TNA, having postponed the November 30 "Bound for Glory" pay-per-view after Hulk Hogan decided to get knee surgery, will likely reschedule the event for January 2004. Officials are hoping this will give them more time to market the show, as well as book a venue, possibly in Las Vegas or Tampa (where Hogan lives and has various connections). -Torch The problem with going past December is that you run into the one true "Hot Zone" of WWE ppvs with the Rumble in January and Mania in March. They'll be much harder pressed to take buys away from the Rumle than they would No Way Out in February, IMO.

Doesn't it tell YOU anything?
