I also support him...make fun of me too.

You don't know how hard it is sometimes. Most of the people that piss me off end up getting banned by someone else eventually anyway though.
-
The reason that doesn't work...is that I point out facts and the absuridity of people throwing dirt on TNA every day since they opened.
-
They've had them twice

I would like for HBO to release the rest of the Larry Sander Show. They put out season 1 a long time ago...and still I wait
-
I expect that the show will be largely a showcase for many different things. We'll probably see Ultimate X 2 which shows off some X division and also some innovation... I expect them to blow off AMW vs. Diamond and Swinger which should be a real good tag match (the others were...and they usually have good blowoffs). Tiger Mask will be there...and they're (according to Borash) working on getting other international stars on the show The they're Raven's feud which could end there as well...and be a bloody ending at that. Finally there's Hogan/Jarrett.
-
All it's supposed to accomplish is getting people to buy. There's over a month to the show and it's already a failure. All we know is Hogan/Jarrett, Tiger Mask is coming and they'll probably do Ultimate X 2...but it's a failure in every possible way already.

Being in Buffalo we have our share. The Super Bowls not withstanding... My most painful memory is triple overtime of game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals...with a call so bad they CHANGED THE RULE AFTER THE SEASON.

We all agree that Punk is terribly misused, and we all agree that there is always a need to build the future guys up. HOWEVER. What makes TNA's case different is that NO One knows about them yet. Build up young guys that no one knows about...and you have nothing. Put on a 3 hour show where you spend two hours showing off Styles, AMW, Sabin and the like...and you've done something.
-
You can tell that TNA is growing by how far this folder has fallen.
-
1. Sting is not in TNA on any kind of basis to make a claim that they are building around him. ONE APPEARANCE MONTHS AGO. Obviously they want him to appear at the three hour show...but that's HARDLY building around someoen. 2. No one expects Hogan to be around come March anyway. They are using him to get the name "TNA" more into the public mind. This idea that they are building aroung guys that hardly if ever appear, OR don't work for the promotion is ridiculous.

I like the logo because it's simple.
-
"He was booed out of the damn building!" You know...given how bad he was booed...maybe some people DID show up just to let him have it!
-
The truth about it all is that RoH is a very niche market. I think some people forget that...but it's a fact. Now...it's great for us because it fits our niche perfectly...

"I do watch the show, and like the angle, but they could have had Rhodes turn down the match, and make him wrestle another face." No they couldn't. That moment where Rhodes took the title shot was THE catalyst for Jarrett attacking Hogan. It's one of those things that made more sense in the grand sceme of things than it did on the surface.
-
"Also, I've always wondered, you think they are trying to get away from the 'NWA' association?" Nope. As a matter of fact, when they worked out their agreement with the NWA (to continue use of the NWA name and belts) it was put in that if the Jarrett's continue to pay the dues they can own the name in 10 years.

From the Inside for this week

Well, I've seen Northcutt's power moves and he seems to be the only one out of the 4 with potential. The other 3 I haven't seen much out of except the Black Shirts getting their asses kicked throughout most of the matches, and all Ryan Wilson has is a chokeslam. That doesn't change the fact that it was booked really well... can we try to be an equal opportunity bitch about? -
"You just KNOW its going to happen." But I really don't. Piper hasn't stepped into the ring. Sting doesn't want to come back.
-
The last time I saw you being so convinced about something in connection with RVD, it was way back in the first Elimination Chamber match yeah...but in retrospect MY plan was better...and made more sense than theirs.
-
I can't wait for the japanese stock enterance music.
-
sigh. Went. Saw. Disapointed
-
So we're already bitching about a main event scene with Piper, Hogan and Sting...even though they have a combined ZERO singles matches in TNA and Piper and Sting have appeared a total of roughly 5 times? Ok...

All I know is the feud was booked really well. They ARE real wrestlers...not just security guards...so it's not at all like that. -
NEW UPDATE FROM THE TORCH SITE. HUGE NEWS: -Rob Van Dam's contract negotiations with WWE have been pretty strained. So in a peace offering at his last sit down discussion with management, Rob offered them a plate of fresh baked brownies he had made. By the end of the meeting, officials had offered Van Dam a multi-million dollar contract, ordered a pie from Dominoes and settled down for a SpongeBob Squarepants marathon.

It was slow, plodding and went nowhere. Only the mightiest of men can make it through watching it without fast forwarding. I think it somehow gained an extra * for the chokeslam off the thing outside and ANOTHER * for being before HHH totally sucked.
