Jericho got undisputed champion in the last year of his contract... RVD got the IC title on a show with no main eventers. *Looks at Jericho since resigning* Time to run.
-
That sucks- Did you enjoy the SDs! in September bps? Because I thought they were terrific. I am looking forward to seeing Paul's debut though I liked it better than RAW. They were still putting on good matches then...now it's bad matches that are really short and a LOT of McMAhonamania

While WWE's production values are leaps and bounds ahead of ROH- I don't see how a show littered with DUDs is better then whatever ROH DVD you have. Judgement Day was just an awful show- I bought it just so I could get the free DVD case Me too! But I have a problem. One of the shows (Vengeance) didn't have the insert with the proof of purchase on it. What the hell am I going to do about that?

"TNA since the week before WarGames " You missed the SUPER X CUP!!!
-
Smackdowns have been so bad this month (funny since they are building to a ppv) that it is a new level of bad. RAW still sucks...but at least they aren't wasting as much talent.
-
Here's mine ranked in order: TNA RoH (would be #1 if I could watch it more often. I'm looking at YOU TOM!!!) MLW IWA RAW SD That's the order of interest I have in seeing the shows from week to week (or tape to tape as it is for RoH). It's a shame SD! sucks.

He's gonna say RAW.

Working the indys RVD would be able to sleep in his own bed, make good money and not go to work everyday hating what he does. And when London or Spanky get as over as RVD was and then depushed like he was...well...let's ask them about how happy they are then.
-
Yeah...but if someone is misersable and can make a living with less stress and more family time... I really don't like Vince's chances of working out a deal. He's too stubborn to give RVD what he'd want anyway...and I'm not convinced they have anything to offer him that he wants at this point. When he came in he was loving his job. Does anyone think he likes it at this point? They kind of beat his enthusiasm for the business right out of him.

Jericho broke through enough that I see him as a WWE guy. What I mean is... If he hadn't been brought into WWE...I guarantee RVD would have been one of the first guys TNA called when they started up. 2.5 years after going to the WWE...RVD STILL isn't a WWE guy. Jericho, on the other hand, is too big for TNA.
-
Except that it will be a Russo Renaissance. There's one itty bitty matter TNA needs to take care of before I can wipe away it's chances of going bellyup overnight. Not anymore. Russo's last show was yesterday and he won't be brought back on air OR as a writer while Hogan is around. Russo has left the building.

I've felt for a while that it was a strong possability that RVD would leave WWE when his contract was up even if TNA wasn't around. TNA isn't going to pay him any better than other indys (well...not much better) anyway. If RVD leaves its because HE HATES IT THERE and not because the grass (no pun intended) is greener somewhere else.

I think it's a non story because I was sure it was happening. Guys like Raven and D-Lo who were WWE guys for a time (D-Lo a long time) are there now and they have friends in the lockerroom. And most of those friends are the exact guys that worry about their jobs as the company does worse and worse.
-
It's not that black and white. He can make enough money to support a family just owning his comic store. He can make enough money to let them live well AND even see them more often working indys. I hate the idea that if you don't work for WWE you can't support a family...because in the case of a name like RVD...it just is not true. Then throw in being able to work your own schedule and actually SEE your family.
-
This is interesting for that reason. WWE doesn't want to let him go...so we'll see how much money it takes to make up for shitting on someone for 2 years. After June...RVD's contract is over and WWE won't have a say in the matter. They SHOULD give him a title run since he's earned it anyway...but WWE has a track record of burying people who start to get near the end of their deals... It'll get more interesting after Mania.
-
I'm sure they'd ask about it's health. ANY other place you can get a paycheck is worth checking out when you get to the end of your contract, or are someone who isn't used at all.

RUN RVD RUN.

I have no idea.

I totallty understand why Keith doesn't recap TNA. He even said he had been enjoying alot of the shows... It's just a financial thing and no one can hold a grudge over that.
-
So he was hurt a month ago...but no one knew until today? Hey Fedor...DUCK...there's big leg coming at your head. DUCK.

I would have kicked the Cubs when they were up...but everyone seemed so happy thinking that this time was different. On the other side... I'm calling a Boston vs. Florida World Series. I won't say anything to the ecstatic Boston fans either...although we all know how it's going to end.
-
I really enjoyed Kash vs. Abyss too. Meltzer said that Kash got too much offense for the size difference...but I disagree. It's not like Kash ever stood toe to toe and just beat on him...he was running all over the place tryting to find an advantage...and then after using a chair several times he still was pinned clean when Abyss finally caught him.

When I come on this site the headlines from the site are now a lot bigger than they usually are...and it's the same on some other pages I go to. How do I make that go away? I tried changing the encoding of the page but it doesn't stick.

If the Cubs and Sox hadn't made the playoffs, the Marlins would have been the best story of the year. Of course...the Cubs blow it and somehow everyone's surprised and disapointed.

"but that incident triggered the rest of the actions of that odd 8th inning " No I'm fairly certain that shitty pitching did that. What the fan did was the equivelent of the ball just going foul.
