I think the idea was to do a couple things: 1. Give New Japan a reason for Hogan (who just won the right to book New Japan as a result of his win over Chono) to disapear to the States without resolving that storyline right away. 2. Put over the NWA title...which I think it did. 3. Give TNA some footage to not only kick of the storyline, but fuel the Jarrett heel turn coming next week.

You're right. Flair isn't in the same League as Bret. Although I think we both mean it in different ways. Flair > Bret

Maybe Shane will walk in and say "I killed Kane, I took out Test...who's the biggest Motherfucker around here so I can take them out too..." Then he beats Goldberg winning the title...but throws it down as beneath him and collects the bounty from HHH. Later in the show a camera catches RVD picking the title out of the trash can and cradling it in his arms repeating "my precious"

That's pretty much what I was thinking when Raven lost to Styles. I think the only person Raven should win the title from IS Jarrett...and Jarrett had to be a heel for that to happen. Well...Jarrett will be a heel in 9 days...and after the Hogan/Jarrett thing is done, Raven will be done with Mitchell and his army. It's the logical end to Raven's destiny.

You know...I don't really hate Randy Orton. I hate the IDEA of Randy Orton...and that the WWE continues to just pick a guy without any kind of connection to or importance to the fans and make him the next big thing. Pun intended. That worked back in the 80s...but it just doesn't work now.

Because of all ten of those people... Only Orton seems to have an actual plan for the future. This thread will make more sense when Orton gets his title push...much like when Brock was getting his title push (while equally if not MORE unover than Orton is now).

I got to see MLW for the first time ever last week. I enjoyed it, but the flow of the show was all off. I've been looking forward to this show all week though...so I can't wait.

I'm more entertained by RAW at this point. At least when Raw sucks I can blame it on lack of talent. When SD! sucks (as it does quite often now) I get the extra pain of watching talent being wasted.

There'll be a From the Outside anyway...but now I have to write more. One thing that pleases me to no end is that my wish in last week's column that the storyline be about Hogan wanting to get the NWA Title is (for one week at least) the way it's going.
