They're thinking outside the box on this one...which I like.

WWE Management high on Orton, Maven
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in The WWE Folder
One thing about Maven is that he is so far ahead of Jindrak and Cade in the promo/looking like a star department that it wasn't even funny. I could get behind a Maven push before an Orton puch...neither is good in the ring...but at least Maven is a little over. -
I think it has more to do with RVD not caring much about anything at this point.
-
RVD obviously hasn't complained about it. Because he'd either stop doing it...or RVD would have been fired! Seriously though... How can they think it's good business to have one WRESTLER's trademark move so heavily associated with a NON WRESTLER? Oh Right...he's a McMahon.
-
I would hope they would be available in stores. Hell I can walk into Best Buy or Media Play and pick up XPW or 3PW DVDs...

It WAS right over the plate. And if he was sending a message...you do that on the FIRST pitch...NOT ON A 1-2 COUNT

Hogan to likely finish his career in NJPW..
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Use Your Illusion's topic in General Wrestling
Yes. After reading through the TNA angle at the press conference I think I see how they are going to deal with that: "Masahiro Chono, Hogan's opponent at the Dome, revived a bloodied Hogan. Chono stated that he would help Hogan in his feud with Jarrett, although that may have been said specifically for the Japanese media and was not planned as part of the NWA TNA angle. New Japan announced there would be a "meeting" to resolve the matter of the Hulk Hogan/Masahiro Chono matchmaker situation coming out of their Dome show match. " -1wrestling I think they're going to say that Hogan has to go to the US to take care of his problem with Jarrett and he'll just leave Chono in charge until they can pick the angle back up later. -
Maybe it's just my low opinion of Hogan... but even if he isn't signed (which is a possability) the fact that Jarrett just totally stomped him makes me think that Hogan wouldn't let the whole thing die with him looking like a tool. Hell, I still think he's just doing this to put himself over Russo.

If you take your New England colored sunglasses off for a moment... that pitch wasn't inside at all. Manny was just afraid he was going to get hit and overeacted to NOTHING.
-
Yes. Red Sox/Yankees it is.
-
Alright let's just drop it. I think bothering to post the story at all IS consideration for fellow posters. Anyway: "I also have unfinished business in the United States. The only title I've never won is the NWA World Heavyweight Title." " That's the way it SHOULD be booked as a storyline...but I just KNOW we'll see Russo/Hogan become the main story.

I don't feel the least bit bad for him.

"#3 - Shane McMahon murdered Kane on Raw. " NO!!! WWE.com's headline says that Kane's condition has been upgraded!
-
In other news: This was a pretty unexpected way of starting things off.

He's right. Every time we put a word for word cut and paste of an article up we are doing something wrong. The accepted way of doing things is to put in the first few lines of the text and then put the link to read more. I woulnd't worry about it ever leading to anything...but technically it IS wrong.

This is definitely a positive for the Sox. ...and sometimes it rains.

I think ego is a codeword for "won't question when told to write poop jokes for highly trained athletes"

I don't think Hogan's winning the title. I think the storyline will be built around Hogan vs. Russo so that Russo can cost Hogan the match and then Hogan can kill Russo to make people happy. I think 50% of Hogan's decision to work in TNA are based on wanting to get over on Russo...even in the fake land of wrestling...probably more than 50%

I wholeheartedly agree with Damaramu

Damn it. I really wanted to watch the game today.

I have been watching IWA for a couple months now. HE books simple storylines and long matches. The problem with IWA is that the style of wretsling itself starts off with a lot of stalling which TNA doesn't do... I think he's a good little booker especially when building towards big time matches. He turned IWA into a huge success with his simple style. On another note...Raven getting buried is a joke. He's in a high profile feud that the fans care about seeing him play out. When he was on Heat losing commentator matches to D-Lo Brown he was getting buried. When he's the focus of every other show and his feud gets more air time than anyone...he's not.

What bad luck for the Jags

When did Jericho beat HHH for the title and get a few months with it?
