I guess it's time to face the hard truth. They don't use local guys to do squash matches on SD and RAW anymore...so they have to hire their own jobbers and pretend they are somebody. Paul London, Spanky, Kanyon, Funaki on SD! And everyone but HHH or Shane on RAW.

Can anybody honestly tell me why they bother to sign these guys? Spanky and London were signed for what? Cannon fodder?

They're wrong. At it's most simplistic people consider it a slasher film with jokes... But Scream was more than that...it was Generation X's Fast Times at Ridgemont High. It was a perfect commentary on that generation...it just used slasher films as its template.

I agree. I thought they should have kept Buffy back in the day too. It was their third best show at that time (behind 7th Heaven and Charmed...BUT Buffy did bring in MORE advertising revenue than anyone else on WB). Spooky.

Oh this has been the best first round I can remember. And with the unlikely Cubs/Marlins in the NL and the bloodfeud between Yanks/Sox in the AL... It's only getting better. I just hope the Series isn't Yanks/Marlins...because even if the Marlins win and the series is great...I think it'll be missing something if one of the two hardluck teams isn't going for the gold.

That's the point Mole. It's doing as good as Buffy did LAST season on UPN...which is worse than Buffy did on the WB. Angel would take a loss too. Buffy was supposed to have the same audience that would carry over to UPN...but it didn't work that way. UPN is a black hole of bad ratings.

Yep. Then things got screwed up because he didn't know if they'd let him back in the country...and so he was just going to stay in the US all week...but then that AAA promoter guy couldn't make it and he was supposed to do something with Juvi that night... It got all messed up but should be taken care of in the next couple months...and then TNA wants to use him alot more often.

Didn't the A's blow the same 2 games to 0 lead LAST YEAR? That's not bad luck...That's bad baseball. They've blown chances to win the first series for like...4 years now

The best thing that can happen for Baseball is the Yankees losing in game 7 every year. Ratings and interest go down after the Yanks get eliminated...becuase a lot of people watch just to hope they lose. I myself hope for a Cubs vs. Sox Series... and there to be an unexpected players strike during game 7... OR maybe they'll just play to a 0-0 tie into eternity

The great thing is, with the 4 teams that are left...I don't hate any of them so I can just sit back and watch. Think about it... either the CUBS or MARLINS is going to the World Series.

I guess I'm supposed to forget that Goldberg destroyed HBK and pinned him clean in very short order in the Elimination Chamber...and buy HBK as a threat?

It's funny that Bradshaw gets hurt and has to stay at home for the first time in YEARS. And his wife leaves him as a result. If he'd have been on the road all year like usual...I bet this wouldn't have happened.
