    Some Random Notes..

It would almost be worth it for the angle where a skinny masked man stalks someone for a month than the day he unmasks he is suddenly 400 pounds.

    Some Random Notes..

I will say this. I have actually heard (or seen rather) someone say "I'm ordering TNA this week because of the Styles/Low Ki match"... wheras I don't think anyone would say "I'm ordering to see what Rikishi does!"

The Best WWE Cruiserweight of 2003?

I voted for Rey...but I couldn't tell you why. Cruisers weren't used very effectively this year...were they?

    Some Random Notes..

Now...Raven's point was in the context of going from a big push in WCW to nothing in WWE. He had a lot to say about how spending a long time being treated like crap and pretty much being told you are crap...made him feel like crap. His situation was more about being liberated from those miserable feelings than financial.

    Some Random Notes..

Here's what I don't get... If Rikishi's having a contract dispute...why would he being weighing the option of going to a place that won't pay him a fraction of what WWE will? What kind of sense does that make?

    Some Random Notes..

As a TNA fan... news that Rikishi may come...and Konnan wouldn't go... very distressing.
  7. Everyone knows why Test beat Shane. I mean come on. It's all anyone ever talks about! Remember...the...SCREWJOB!!! Shane screwed Shane. ... Then of course things were smoothed over and Shane resumed his domination.

Stone Cold Vs. The Rock Vs. HHH

If we're going to start giving everyone their jobs back from HHH... He's in for a long...say...4 years
  9. Well...wrestling is STILL real. The only time it's "fake" is when the bigger guy loses...you know...so the fans will think they have a chance every match. In order to not take down the credability of the product...the such occurances are very rare...and usually reserved for Shane McMahon.

    News on new WWE DVDs...

I'm going to put a pre-emptive Bullshit down on whatever they say in the Monday Night Wars DVD. Things they'll need to cover to keep up continuity: 1. Bret Hart Killed WCW. 2. If Eric Bischoff had been able to get HHH (nevermind that he had him and let him walk...and Austin...and Foley) WCW would have won the war. 3. Depending on if he's working for the company or not at that time...Hulk Hogan not only came up with the NWO angle...but also explained to Vince why buying WCW would be a good investment.

The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection DVD Cover...

It would be real hard for them to cover it up this time. Imagine all the fuzzy screen we'd see covering both the belt...AND the WWF logo!!!
  12. Ahh...see I didn't know that. I do know that the win was never recognized by the evil NWA, thus causing the WWE's creation 15 years later. WWE would get it's revenge however, by taking over the NWA title lineage and putting it into their RAW World title...despite having no actual basis in doing so.
  13. I think I saw on Confidential that Shane beat Thesz 2 falls straight in 1948.

    Official TNA preview for 9/30

Hey, I just realized that the main event has 4 semi-World Champions in it!!! Russo was WCW Champion Jarrett was a 4 time WCW Champion Dusty was a 3 time NWA Champion Styles is the current NWA Champion and strangely...out of the 4...Styles title is the one that is considered least important

    What is this?

I wonder if there are any threads in this forum that don't have an overrated HBK match reference in them.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season 1 Set

"this 2-Disc 390-minute set will list for $39.98" So it'll probably be between 29.99 and 34.99 when it hits at Best Buy.

    What is this?

Hey everybody! Jesse Ventura uses our board!

    Move Over Alexis Laree...

    I don't think she's hotter than Alexis.

    Official TNA preview for 9/30

I don't know. There are 4 matches that should work out for the better...but none that I'm so into that I can't wait for the show. 1. Shane vs. Lynn was good last time, I thought...and it should be again. The problem is that I don't like Lynn in the X division anymore. Sabin, Juvi, Teddy Hart and Kazarian (in there 3 matches of the finals and semis of the X cup) kind of blew past Lynn's kick-punch offense. 2. AMW vs. Abyss and Kash. I think this is going to rock. I really like Abyss...but again...the catch is Kash has to work less sloppy since he'll do a bulk of the work. 3. D-Lo vs. Daniels. There's no reason for it...and both guys need a win (which means Daniels wins via interference) but it should be fun. The only problem I have with Daniels in the heavy division is that he tends to work too small...in that he just allows the matches to play out with him taking beatings and not getting much O in. 4. Look...we all know that Dusty and Russo aren't going to work more than 5% of this match. You'll see Styles vs. Jarrett for most of it, a little Styles vs. Dusty...and then they'll get their hands on Russo and Styles will make the save...so most of it should be good.

Stone Cold Vs. The Rock Vs. HHH

Bah. Better than those three in a match... The three REAL superpowers faced off at Insurrextion 2000: Triple Threat WWF Championship Match: The Rock (Champion) vs. Triple H vs. Shane McMahon Interestingly...that card also featured Eddy vs. Jericho and Angle vs. Benoit...and E+C vs. Hardys... leading me to the question...was this show any good?
  21. Hmm... Perhaps... HOWEVER...it seems that without a doubt Shane is the far and away #1 contender to the RAW title at least.
  22. That was the OLD Shane McMahon. The Old Shane O'Mac couldn't take down a monster like Kane...he struggled against the Big Show! The NEW Shane McMahon is virtually unstoppable...and an interpromotional WWE title match vs. Brock at Mania is not only needed...but by god...it's warranted.
  23. Come on Anglesault...use logic here. Shane had Kane beat before he risked his life...erm...stole the spotlight...and it cost him. RVD couldn't come that close to Kane... So Shane > RVD. The only people RVD hasn't won more than lost against are Kane, Taker, Brock and HHH. He tied HBK...so Shane is better than him...and HBK is still up on HHH by one...so HHH falls. HBK also has beaten Taker more than lost...so he falls...and Kane can't beat Taker...so he falls in the end too. Rock is 0-1 vs. RVD...so Shane beats him. Austin is tied with RVD I think (Loss on RAW, win at No Mercy)...so Shane beats him. Angle is like 0-1-1 in TV matches with a tie on the day of the draft for the IC title and a loss while Kurt was champion...so he's gone. That leaves Brock. It's simple logic.

25 most UNDERrated games of all time

Given those criteria... Eternal Darkness DAMNIT!!!
  25. Bret Hart's first title reign was the model for what they should do with RVD. Now...NO I AM NOT SAYING RVD IS A GOOD WORKER... but he's over based almost completely on what he does in the ring...cause that's all he does. Just have him defend the title all the time...have JR call him the "Fighting Champion" No promo's needed. It's actually the way I would have booked a Benoit World title run if it ever came up.
