Shit happens. It would have been a ton worse had they not planned in advance for the seemingly inevitible disaster. Had they just stood there not knowing how to proceed they'd have been screwed hard...but thankfully they pulled a referees decision out. Now...that will excuse the first time...but the second time it should never have happened. It took them 2 tries to figure out that it wasn't going to work unless they hung it on one wire. That being said...Tenay dropped the ball on the second one by not pulling the "They've been through hell and it's going to continue" line Or even better...use that as the reason Shane was able to rest up and make his dash for the gold. Either way...Seen One Ultimate X...don't need to see another. I did like it though.

How does Michaels get a pass on his terrible no selling every time? I've always wondered this.

Not against a legitimite wrestler though. Angle could take anyone on the roster. If someone would have thought abuot that 5 years ago I bet Angle would have had some moster money making runs.

It's an interesting thing. Screw the scrambling QBs...I have a better example. Drew Bledsoe has been sacked about a million times in his career and never been injured while taking a hit in the pocket. Then one time he scrambled for the sideline and almost died. Scrambling = injuries.

Well if the "They" in "I won't do what they want anymore" means the fans... Then Kane's character is just spewing the company line. Vince and co. have been practicing THAT for over 2 years now.

They shouldn't bitch about it. It has worked both ways in the past. The best example I can think of is Scream...where it opened at 6 million something and ended up grossing over 100 million based SOLELY on word of mouth.

"They" are obviously the writers. "they" want RVD to be set on fire...and Kane has decided to stop doing everything the stupid writers say. That makes him a face in my book.

Now I know this is going to get the usual amount of "You're just HHHating" responses... But I have to say it. I was bothered a great deal going into WrestleMania this year by the WWE's refusal to acknowledge Kurt Angle's bad neck. It was a SERIOUS injury that could have ended his career that night. Now...he was the heel and all...so they just didn't mention it going in. Fine. Then why do I have to see HHH bring up his hurt groin going into a match where he'll most likely FINALLY drop the title? How cheap is that? HHH will finally lose and the excuse has already been presented on TV. Angle could have died and nothing.
