I don't think that's true. I do know that A-Train has never had a match half as good as RVD vs. Eddy from Judgment Day 2002. Bias or not...that was the badass RVD match of all time.

I think 99% of people on this forum could watch two matches and tell you that the same one was better than the other.

Most of th eTV time leading up to it was for Hogan/Gowan/Steph and Vince. hogan quit and the rest put on a terrible buyrate. Hurrah! Seriously though...I've been certain for some time that people will not pay to watch Brock Lesnar be a face. Nothing he did during his face run changes that beleif for me.

If you mean...was that the last match...then yes. But a majority of the buildup on TV and in ads was for McMAhon/Gowen. I mean...a HUGE majority

Like I said...they better keep the programmers. It's not like they'll be doing anything else.

Microsoft Seeks High Heat August 12, 2003 - You might recall a story we ran about the inevitable sale of various 3DO assets following the company's untimely, but not unexpected demise. Well, more developments have arisen in the last few days that shed further light on who is moving to purchase what. With potentially lucrative properties like SRS, Army Men, Might & Magic, and High Heat Baseball up for grabs, we're starting to see the big publishers come out of the woodwork for a piece of the 3DO pie. Perhaps most surprising is Microsoft's move to purchase High Heat, given the existence of its own baseball franchise, Inside Pitch. But then since many describe that title as a complete waste of a box, the bid by the mega giant could be one to establish its own non-crappy brand of Major League ball. Of course, this may cause some to wonder where this leaves the supposed Sega/Microsoft deal. Why would the big MS attempt to purchase a different brand of ball if it were also still pursuing the rumored buyout of Sega, which has its own supremely ass kicking World Series 2k3? Well, there are a few speculative answers to that... 1) Microsoft makes so much money it doesn't even care. Comparatively speaking, the bids listed for High Heat do not equal an obscene amount of money, which Microsoft has. The creator of the Xbox may just figure, "Why the hell not?" 2) The Sega deal is no more. But, since it was only heavily rumored to begin with, there's not a whole lot available to prove or dismiss this theory. 3) Let's bid for the sake of bidding. Regardless of whether Microsoft is or is not pursuing Sega, the company could simply just not want another publisher to attain a strong brand that would eventually turn into competition for World Series or Inside Pitch. Thus, it was decided that the ante should be raised. Either MS gets the brand and is happy, or Bill's baby causes someone else to spend so much money they'll be hard-pressed to find the funding necessary to develop the license into a quality game for a timely release. Regardless of the reasoning behind the High Heat bid, it's still interesting. Of course, if you care little for Microsoft and its dealings, there is plenty else to get excited about within the endless string of headache inducing legal jargon that is the sale of 3DO assets. I was waiting for this...because I have long suspected that no one really cares about Smackdown. I don't even care about Smackdown and most of the people I like are on it.

What exactly were you guaranteed for 35 dollars at Bad Blood? or Backlash? Or Judgemnt Day? Or No Way Out? Cause...those cost more than 3 weeks of TNA.

The thing about Raven Douglas was that the crowd was SOO hot...and Douglas was SOOO good at playing to them...but he just isn't much of a worker. From a workrate standpoint...no it's nowhere near Styles/Ki. But from an overall entertainment standpoint...it BLEW AWAY any expectation I had for it. I honestly think that the crowd would have rushed the ring if Douglas had won again.

Maybe that was it. I thought the match was also laid out REAL well with Taker making perfect escapes from double teams and real solid comebacks. The ending also would have made Nathan Jones a star...if he didn't suck beyone all beleif.

That's Lesnar's real strength...more than I can imgine having a great match with Benoit... He has GOOD matches with guys like Taker, Big Show and other hosses. He's like...the ultimate Hoss!

I actually liked that Mania match too, RRR. I don't know why...but it worked real well for me.

When were these matches...and how loose are we talking. The A-Train/Benoit match I remember seeing on SD! a while back was one where I thought..."Good for an A-Train match" but not *** at all. I missed Lesnar/A-Train

I can't understand how this thread has been going this long. One of the early posts said "If A-Train was having *** matches all the time we'd still bitch". Well...that's something that's an unknown since it isn't happening. In fact. Just because it will destroy the credability of anyone who tries to... Name me ONE *** match A-Train has put on.

FACT: Also, it's not WWE's fault you have a short attention span and can't follow more than 3 storylines. This isn't even a fact. You still have much too learn. FACT:It's free to watch WWE's storylines unfold, you have to pay $10 weekly to see TNA's storylines progress This actually IS a fact, so bravo. Although I know my cable bill suggests that TNN isn't actually on the free service...you finally make a good point. This just comes down to how much you value something. Up until Vengeance last month there wasn't a WWE ppv that I felt was worth what amounts to the same price for a whole month of TNA. I can't understand how 10 dollars a week became such an extraordinary amount of money. It's 10 dollars...a week.
