  1. Thats where I have a problem then. Jackson won a split decision even though he barely won the last two rounds and the only attempts at ending it both came from Bustamante in the first... And then the very next fight they give it to Nog for what they didn't give to Murilo. I can't say as I care that much though...I hate Rico.
  2. Passion for reason explained in the final 4 Buffy ep thread.
  3. Those RVD/Taker matches were better than the normal Taker match solely because of Van Dam's style. Taker matches are generally slower and with him on offense most of the time. With RVD bouncing off him like a pinball and making some very well timed comebacks (it didn't hurt that every time he wrestled Taker he was on a huge upswing of overness) the matches were hot.
  4. I agree that it's GREAT that Styles and Daniels are heavyweights... I just wish for one night we could pretend they weren't and put together a tourney with them in it. Cause they rule.
  5. The Champion was a heel. He was just a face by default.
  6. Yes. But I don't want a ladder match. Sabin and Kazarian are less ladder like people and more wrestling match like people. Plus...I don't want Sabin to lose.
  7. I agree with bob about that. But until TNA starts using him and lets him get over...Red is more popular in that building.
  8. Sakuraba came prepared for their first rematch. After the first was a total bonehead decision to stand and throw with Silva (although he did almost lay him out!) he waited for Silva to strike and took him down. But by the time the round was half over Silva had just overpowered him...and then the injury came. I don't think it's impossible that Sakuraba can win...especially with Silva coming off a lenghty lay off. Let's just say...if Sakuraba wins I would be shocked...but not to the point of unbeleivability
  9. I should point out that it is unfortunate that two of the best X division guys won't be in it (most likely) because they are now "heavyweights"...and losing in that tourney wouldn't do them any favors. I mean Chris Daniels and NWA Champ AJ Styles of course.
  10. If Low-Ki is in the states that day it would be a GREAT way to bring him back into TNA. Him winning I mean.
  11. It doesn't take a genius to figure out a 3.0 minus one major market such as NY is on par with the 3.4's of recent weeks. I don't care if his name is Jesus and my name is "Guy who doesn't know ratings", it's quite an obvious equation. Someone who covers the ratings every week of every year including when they are preempted in NYC, And many other places knows what said preemptions do to ratings. I'll take his analysis over your opinion
  12. I disagree completely. Becoming Part 2 is at best the third best episode of that season. It winning the tournament just because it was last is ridiculous. Besides...The Gift was a better finale, and as far as I'm concerned so was Restless.
  13. Yes. Because all those years of work have taught him nothing. Years of cred ruined because Ghettoman said so.
  14. BPS "The Informer" 21 does not go into details.
  15. No...but I've got the next best thing: BPS "The Informer" 21 Predictions: A certain "Dude" will be buried and left or dead by the end of summer. Big things in store...for BIG MEN. HHH will regain the title soon after losing it (no point sugar coating that one) Someone who's name rhymes with Fill Foldberg will get sick of being blamed for problems that have existed dating back literally YEARS before he arrived...he'll blow up backstage and be fired on spot. Anyone smaller than 6'0 250 lbs. will be deemed too short to ride the Smackdown ride and be sent to a permenent home on Velocity.
  16. I'M not underestimating ANYTHING. That's a Meltz quote there.
  17. ...not Smackdown did a 3.0 rating last night. Even figuring for the New York preemption, that would be a significant realistic rating decline from previous weeks. -Observer Site
  18. The third stringer in Philly is better than everyone playing QB in Dallas or Washington.
  19. Angle should win. But he pinned Brock last month...and if Vince is alligned with Brock than I don't know. They're stupid to do, but do it they might. The RAW title will never leave HHH. Even if someone manages to steal it briefly it will just rubberband back to him sooner than later. I'll pick Goldberg and a one month title reign.
  20. on the plus side they'd have gotten James and Konnan too... "Konnan, BG James and Ron Killings, known as Three Live Crew in TNA, filmed a vignette on 07.23 in the "hood". The 'Crew actually did go to a rough neighborhood to shoot the segment. There was an incident where the guy they approached had heat on him and made a threat, believing the TNA crew was from "Cops" or another reality news show. Needless to say, the wrestlers and camera crew were thrilled to get out of that neighborhood after the vignette was finished. credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter"
  21. Ramsey>Rob Johnson>Wawful NO. Rob Johnson is better than nobody. Ryan Leaf>Rob Johnson
  22. I wish RVD would yell at him. He IS opening a comic store...maybe that will put some heat on him.
  23. If your leagues don't take off for fumbles Travis henry is going to have another big year. The Bills rebuilt their offense for power running by replacing pass catching Tight End and Fullback with blocking ones. He lacks breakaway speed...but he still got nearly 1500 yards last year...and that was WITHOUT a defense which cause the Bills to throw most of the time because they were playing from behind. That will not be the case nearly as often this year.
  24. Scott Hall, although being friends with those guys, never had the cotrol that they did/do over Vince.
