At least they've finally put the heels together instead of just having them loosely affiliated by the storyline. Sting is finally at least playing with the heels...even if he doesn't want to be one.

I can't see any way they don't do at least the one title change. Meltzer said on one of the audios yesterday that TNA was happy with the heat that Bashir got in Chicago...so you wouldn't think they would change to Lethal who's been stuck in nowhereland for a while...but they might. I see Kong winning because I think the only reason Taylor kept it through BFG was so they had something to change here. I could be backwards on their thinking though...since I'm using logic. Also...AJ and Joe have to win. It sends such a terrible message if Sting and Nash win that match. I didn't have a problem with Sting winning the belt...but if Nash and Sting win here, even with cheating and ref bumps and runins and whatevers...it's just wrong. Of course...that being said...I see Nash and Sting winning...

I enjoy the Spiderman games (well...2 and 3 anyway) and this looks like it's like those. I'll end up playing this eventually...but I'm currently sitting here halfway through Saints Row 2, just starting Fable 2, Dead Space that I haven't even put in yet, Too Human that I'm probably a fifth of the way through, and Fallout 3 coming next week I think. It's on the backburner until I start catching up. Now that I look at it...I started Ninja Gaiden 2 and Condemned 2 and Burnout Paradise and haven't gotten back to those yet either. Throw in Rock Band 2 and NHL 09 that I try to get some time in on and I'm backlogged again like a motherfucker. I haven't even finished Call of Duty 4 yet. ...and then after that there's the stack that I didn't finish and got pushed back by the last run of games. There's not enough time in the day.

Sabres play the Wild tonight. Still down 3 Centers and now without Rivet for at least 2 weeks. I don't expect them to win tonight...the injuries have piled up.

That's actually a good question that I hope someone responds to (cause I have no idea either) all I know is that I saw she said that she would release them...but that the campaign had no idea before she said it. She likely just fucked up again...but now she kinda painted herself into a corner. It's amazing to me that releasing your medical records isn't mandatory. They have to release all of their financial records...and a candidates health (even for VP...especially under a really old guy) seems a tad important.

I love how in one folder people are lamenting that the board is dying and there's no discussion... And then this thread got called out for getting discussion.

I will say, however, that the system IS STILL BETTER than the NFL. In the NFL the OT system is completely retarded...and the fucking thing can still end in a tie.

My problem with ties, and to some extent even the way it is now with loser points is that at the end of the day You're playing a game...the object is to win. Teams holding out and dumping the puck in order to get a point defeats the entire purpose of competition. I'm in favor of an all or nothing system. I for the life of me do not understand why you get a point because it took a team longer than 3 periods to beat you. When you score in OT in the playoffs...they don't give the loser like...half a win. And the shootout is annoying on all fronts. ... But it's all still better than a tie.

If they're going to give a point to the losing team after 60 minutes (which they do), they can give an extra point to a team that wins in OT. There's a fundamental problem with points when some games are worth a total of 2 and some are worth a total of 3. Make them all worth 2 and don't give a loser point...or make them all worth 3 since that's the path loser points have set you on anyway.

I agree they should have gone to a 3 point system for games. I guess the argument against it is that it would screw up som records for points or something...although that stuff's already screwed up with the shootout anyway. And I don't buy that you can't muss up things like that when most people don't watch your sport.

When I lived in Ohio during the 2000 election I got so many fucking phone calls. Now...in Buffalo I honestly haven't gotten one. I did get someone stopping by with a thing for me to sign in support of his candidate...I don't remember why... but I signed it.

If he's talking about 06-07...it wasn't the shootout...it was the 3 goal lead they blew in Buffalo in the 3rd period. I got to see a Leafs fan actually WEEPING that day. It was tremendous.
