We're halfway through and as far as I've seen he's thrown all of her ideas into the shitter and she's run to energy and Iraq when the topics were the economy and any country in the middle east that isn't Iraq. I think they should make her name state capitals.

Obama said the surge worked in the last debate. What he did was question why we went there in the first place. That's a big difference.

It wasn't that long ago that we discussed in the Lost thread how f'n cool it was that the thread was going to run from before the first episode until after the finale. The first post in the thread actually says "So there's this new show called Lost" and it's its own community. If we were to start a Lost season 5 thread...I'd hate that. One of the positives of mega-threads is being able to go back to a certain date (let's say for example...the day Obama announced he was running for President) and see exactly what people were saying then...without having to search through every thread that said Obama in it and narrowing down the time frame based on when you think the last post in the thread would have been made.

The Campaign thread will be pretty much over in a month. Anything of interest to a reader anyway. And without offseason threads we'd have everybody posting a new thread about the littlest crap that happens to their team...in each sport. That doesn't warrant a thread. ... If only there were a system in place for a comment that doesn't warrant a thread. ... This is too taxing. I'm going out.

My favorite few threads on this forum are mega threads (Campaign 2008 and Lost). I guess I don't find the challenge of looking at the date of posts all that daunting.

I like big threads, and I cannot lie... It sets you up right where you left off...and we tried to not have CWDWAT and that didn't work.

Hopefully they're just sticking to training videos for Sting and Joe. It works out better in the long run.

Apparently the 3 songs that were rumored in that best buy story were recorded on someones cell phone and they leaked out. I haven't heard them but from what I read they're more finished than the demos were...lending more believablity to the whole ordeal. If anyone manages to find them...let me know. Although the quality is obviously second hand and shit...I'd like to hear the differences for myself.
