I actually agree with Truthiness. Heyman makes for good TV...but his booking doesn't sell PPVs. TNA doesn't sell PPVs on their own. They don't need his help. Giving away great free TV matches is great for the casual viewer. But it kills interest in paying for a show and during Heyman's run as SD! booker...the ppv matches were anticlimactic at best. His best days were booking ECW before PPV...and from what I've read OVW...which doesn't have ppv. The idea should be about making things interesting enough for people to pay to see the result. Heyman isn't that guy. TNA can't do that either. At the end of the day it doesn't matter who books TNA until they get word out that they exist

I think Booker being out makes the match better. He's not so much a "go" guy. He hasn't sniffed a great match in forever. Christian/Angle/Joe is a bit better IMO. And Booker's character is great...so getting screwed out of his earned shot by weather is great for him.

One things for sure...if they use the Riddler...no one will be talking about what a difficult task it is to fill the shoes of the previous portrayal.

When I first tried to picture Depp I couldn't see it...but then I started thinking of what a Riddler would be like in the Nolan Batverse. He'd likely have to be a disturbed obsessed guy...and not the over the top goof that Shumacher had. In that case I could start seeing a Johnny Depp Riddler.

Well...they don't do any of that. It's an afterthought title that no ppvs are built around. It's always defended in the midcard (sometimes lower midcard) and it's held most of the time...by midcarders. It's existence would come to an end if they decided to dump the TV show.

This is all about the ECW title. A title that doesn't get booked like a top title by the company like the WWE or World do. I just scratch my head where people say that even the WWE sees it as a World title. Because it's the top title on the C show? That's like saying if there had been a Heat Title it would have been on par with the big two.

Vote no on all of them and then complain about how nothing ever gets done. That's what I'd do. I like to champion the progress that I'm standing in the way of.

Actually...screw all that. Any decision that leads to people actually believing that Chavo Guerrero is a former World Champion is just plain wrong on principle.

The WWE title has always lacked the "World" word...but that's kind of the point. People can't grant themselves world title status. They certainly don't treat the ECW title like the other two top titles. It's never in consideration for headlinging WrestleMania (as the other two have both done) or any pay per view for that matter. It's 6 second matches at Mania and SummerSlam. It's the top title of the TV show it's named after. It doesn't have its own house shows for it to be at the top of. It is always defended in the midcard of the big shows. Like a...title...that is...of...the midcard... I know there's a proper name for that but it escapes me at the moment.
