Then, using your standards, every title that a company decides is a world title...should be recognized as such. There are now one thousand world titles. Besides...didn't they pull the "world" off of the new ECW title belt? The title history page on the site doesn't use the word "world" either.

I've said this before...but I'll say it again. There are podunk little backyard feds that call their title a world title too. Hell...the NWA still thinks they have a world title. I can make a papermache title and call it a world title. WWE calls the ECW title a world title. All of those are equal in there world title stature. I've gone over the literally dozens of reasons why it's ridiculous to think of the ECW title as higher than the US or IC titles in previous threads. Lets just stop giving it any credence shall we?

And also remember...the Republican VP candidate doesn't believe in science. ... Just think about that when you stand in the voting booth.

When I was in Toronto I saw a bum dressed as Santa Claus holding a sign that said "Need money for sleigh repairs". And there were some other clever ones too coming out of the Blue Jays game. I'll give the Toronto bums credit...they put some effort in.

I give it a 0 percent chance that Punk wins a feud with Orton. It's not a Punk feud...it's an Orton feud. It's what he'll be doing until they put him back in the title picture. Punk should be happy that he got any kind of a run this early in his career. They'll go back to him eventually...and he didn't have to wait like...say...the Hardy's (assuming Jeff makes it everntually...and that the ECW title counts...) or RVD or Guerrero or Jericho did to get to the top of the mountain. ...he didn't have to get as over as they did either. So he should count it as a win.

Piss people off...yes. Pull the champion off the card with no warning or injury just because you can...not so cool. There's no reason he couldn't compete in the match and lose. Even with the attack. They had a spot when Cena got hurt for Jericho to slither in at the end. It just shows that they didn't have this plan...TWO weeks ago.

I'm not even saying I disagree with them...I just know I'd be PISSED if I was a big Punk fan who was ordering ppvs for the duration of his title reign (I did this for RVD's brief run) and then it ends like this.

It annoyingly abuses the "card subject to change" idea. Punk aint hurt...and he's the champion of the flagship show. And they storyline yank him from the main event without any kind of "sportsentertainment" hint going in. They wouldn't do that with Cena or HHH or Taker...which I guess says more of how little they think of Punk. Pissing of his fans isn't a concern.

They won alot of those close games because Brady made great plays at the end of games.

Yeah. They're going to have full characters for DLC. The video of Curryman dancing around was hysterical. And when Petey comes out...he'll have his canadian destroyer. The thing that makes DLC cool is that they can have a more updated appearance of the wrestler. Petey is in full on Scott Steiner look.

I watched it. They did a heck of a job promoting the game. I also DVRd and fastforwarded through the top 20 CMT countdown that was done at the TNA show. Between those two things TNA's game got more promotion than the company itself has in the 6 years it's existed. The quality of the game notwithstanding, someone at least figured out how to advertise something for a change.
