The storyline then progressed to show that Joe was doubting himself becuase no matter how much he beat on Booker he never quit. It would make sense that if he were doubting himself he wouldn't want the guy who he couldn't put away no matter how much he beat him, who walked out of the arena with his belt to just hand it back to him. He wants to go out, put Booker away and walk out with his title. I don't see the problem with that at all...especially when the story going in was that "he couldn't beat Booker"...and even though he nearly killed him...he still didn't.

I feel like I want to write a lot about the movie...but will wait a couple days until everyone has a chance to see it. I don't feel like starting a long spoiler tagged conversation. There is much to discuss. I am a happy Batman fan.

Yeah...that got a huge reaction in my theater too. It was a loud and collective "Holy Shit" followed by a lot of clapping.

I found this movie completely and utterly riveting. It's gonna take a while for this to sink in. Holy Fuck...the Joker was simply tremendously done from script to execution. And I absolutely loved everything involving Harvey Dent. That was something else.

Well I was going to use this pick to take Dark knight after I got back from the screening tonight (assuming I liked it...which I will) but now that's all gone. So I'll take... Monster Squad Wolfman's got nards. I'm in the Goddamned club aren't I? My name's Horace. He was totally homoing out on us. Is she a vershin? ... Yeah...I love Monster Squad.

I just watched Batman Begins. And now I am pumped.

The Iron Man/Batman Begins conversation is something that I am really interested in having. Iron Man is (IMO) the perfect "comic book movie". And IMO...Batman Begins is a better movie. That shouldn't make any sense whatsoever since they are both based off of comic books...but that's how I view them. Iron Man was so fricking good in the genre. And Begins transcended it. With many of the early reviews comparing it to Heat or Departed and not to another comic book movie...my hopes for Knight are way up...since they seem to have concentrated on the things I liked about the first one. Just because you are based on a comic book does not mean you have to be a "comic book movie". Sometimes...you can just be a great film.

I completely disagree. With Kong killing everyone on the roster the only good thing to do is try to make a new star out of someone that you are bringing in.

I don't know if anyone else watched this...but I loved it. Check it out if you have 15 minutes.

You know what's funny (and sad)? I still find myself getting defensive of Microsoft and downplaying Sony in my mind. ... And I own both a 360 and a PS3.

I more or less have a couple reviewers who generaly agree with my tastes in movies. For the most part reviews don't really matter to me since I'm one of those people who knows what they want to see and then sees it... and if I don't want to see something it takes the word of people who's opinions I trust (actual people...not reviewers) to get me to watch it. I find this way gives me the least amount of headaches. I will see stuff that gets a lot of Oscar buzz eventually though...I just like to see what the Academy is into that year.

They did a run of house shows recently. But I think that Raven/Jarrett match was for a BCW show, as TNA didn't run their first "official" (IE: Not Hermie Sadler or someone else show...but actual TNA) house show until Christian was around.

On the rating... The MLB HR derby did a big number. ... And I don't think total nonstop cena the week before helped matters either. Maybe...just maybe...a grown man writing "poop" on another mans car doesn't lead to retaining viewership.

Well I would have gone to that...but I got myself into a little drinky drivey situation at Christmas...and Canada does not welcome my kind....which sucks because I actually spend a good amount of time and money in their country. Oh well. Don't drink and drive, kids.

I hope they run out of pitchers again. Teach them a fucking lesson for giving something to the winning league...right after not being able to declare a winner last time.
