I got Imax tickets...even though I'm not really a fan of sitting in the IMax theater. I wanted to see it on there once though...since I'm sure I'll be going to see it again in a regular theater later.

Well...that was before they were taking the Drug Policy seriously. I'm just throwing that out there since the only thing I'd heard of Ortiz before he debuted was that he used to be a lot bigger. Monty Brown is going to end up being an interesting footnote in the history of wrestling. The guy had so much charisma and he was pretty decent in the ring for how little he seemed to care most of the time. If you could put someone elses desire into him they'd have had something special.

I hate that the change people's real names. Raven had a great promo when they brought him back about having laid back in the shadows and watched as the Joe's, Angle's and Sting's and Christian's beat each other up while he waited to make his move. It was a seriously awesome promo where for a minute you kinda wanted to see Raven try another run near the top with that kind of storyline. But when that didn't happen I don't think anyone was really that upset. Raven just doesn't belong at the top of a national company at this stage of his career. I think he could be a hell of a manager since he's so good at talking and furthering the importance of things in his promos... But they already HAD A great talker in Jim Mitchell...and they let him go too.

He came back before Bound For Glory...and they didn't use him much. I'd guess he was let go around the new year or maybe a little after. I don't know if his contract just wasn't renewed or what...but it was clear that they didn't have anything for him. He sat home for a long time before they bothered to bring him in that last time.

I don't see a problem with offer sheets either. It just sucks when it happens to you and someone else gets to dictate what you pay your players. Vanek was going into his THIRD NHL season when someone threw mad money at him. Don't blame them for trying. Don't blame him for signing. Don't blame them for matching. What I DO this is absurd is that he'd played 2 seasons when he became restricted. That's ridiculous.

Yeah I forgot he was a RFA. I should have known that since I live in Buffalo where he just was but I thought he still had time on his contract. Believe me...I know how RFA works...it's how we ended up having to pay Thomas Vanek half the money in the city of Buffalo.
