More fascinating Vancouver news: The Blues signed Steve Bernier (the same Bernier that Vancouver traded for days ago from Buffalo...who used one of the picks in a package to get Craig Rivet out of San Jose after they got Dan Boyle...ahem...anyway) to an offer sheet for 2.5 million next season. The Canucks matched right away. This came after the Canucks made an offer sheet to the Blues David Backes last week...that the Blues matched. It looks like for a little payback the Blues drove Bernier's price up for Vancouver who had him for peanuts about an hour ago. ... No word on if Bernier is planning on using the extra money to get into shape.

You know...I actually drove to DC and back in one day (8 hours each way) to see a screening of Serenity 3 months before it came out. That was quite the memory that I should have drafted last round...but thought it would hold out another turn.

I enjoy the feel of the show right now...even if the in ring action is kinda nothing memorable. I will say that I HATED Jericho just getting punked out to his face and then they cut to commercial. That tells me that he's probably winning their match since they made him look like a pussy last night...but I hate that they made him look like a pussy. I hope the ratings keep going up. HHH can suck on the fact that when he left ratings shot up.

Alright...here's the deal with this game. Have you ever played a game where the only way through it was to truly master the controls...and then when you do you can get in the fucking zone and you are suddenly the greatest video game player of all time? And then something comes up and you don't play for a few days and you are the game's bitch again? That's why I'm taking this game. Fuck this game...I'll beat you someday: Ninja Gaiden Black. I just popped Black up there because it had more junk. If that's not allowed then I'll take the regular version with no complaints.

Well...I must be up by now. I'm going to take my first old timer (Read: Guy I am not that familiar with) here...having filled up on all the current-esque guys that I really wanted badly at this point. I never wanted to take an oldtimer just for the sake of having the biggest name available...I wanted my roster to mesh together as well as possible. So in taking an old school guy...I wanted one that would be interesting to me with my philosophy of hit hard or move fast. Antonino Rocca I'm picking Rocca because (from the limited reading and few youtube clips you can find) I think he could fit into an interesting mix with some of my new age speedier athletic guys. The new guys are quicker...but Rocca had some wicked interesting takedowns in those youtube clips. So I can find some cool stuff for him to do.

I'm really looking forward to Taylor vs. Kong next week as Taylor does that thing with Kong in her matches that Gail Kim does so well (and ODB didn't) that just make the matches fun. I don't know what the word is for it...but it makes you just root for her with every move. The Impact Zone was going nuts for her last time and again last week when she did the run in. So that should be a fun watch.

They were focusin all of the advertising on the Joker before Ledger died. This is actually kinda cut down from what it was before he died.

I almost took the Havana Pitbulls about 7 times already. I just kept putting it off. It also would have left me with an odd # of teams...and I didn't really want anyone else that badly. I would have programmed them with the LAX...and it would have ROCKED.

Well...Thomas would have had an EASY SB MVP had that kick gone in. He was still the best player in that game. Fucking Kelly should have called more running plays. Asshole.
