8 hours gone by Masato Yoshino and Naruki Doi - Speed Muscle Before this week I had only seen them in the acclaimed RoH 6 man match from awhile back. Then I watched Impact and spent most of today watching youtube. This is everything that I love about wrestling (and the reason I don't go much for the oldtimers). In my company you'd either better be able to hit hard or move fast...and no one moves faster than Yoshino Watching the 7 minutes of glory that was the Guns vs. Speed Muscle on Impact made me wish I could see them go for a longer stretch of time...and since I already had the Guns...

I think that I liked that segment for all the reasons that you didn't. Joe could get all mad and tell Booker that he is better than Booker thinks, or that he's a credible chamion...or he could give him his shot and prove it to him in the ring. That's what the Samoa Joe character has always been about...proving it in the ring.

That should leave you plenty of money left over to pay for ours then.

The only people that can get truly blacklisted I guess are guys that flat out have nothing to offer Vince at all. Savage could sell a DVD and go in the Hall as the top draw if they wanted him too...so there's still some money on the table. Warrior could be used as a top draw in the Hall...I would really think that he'll end up in the fold at least briefly at some point and it wouldn't shock me. Douglas...has nothing to offer.

I find his movies too slow moving. There's trying to create tension and then there's just BORING. I gave up after Signs. Although it doesn't really sound like I've been missing much.

Oh fuck you. I was taking Grosse Pointe Blank next (and almost picked it last time). One of the all time funniest movies to me. "And I said, "I don't want to work with you any more." I'm going early on Sunday. I'm looking forward to it since it has fairly positive buzz around it. I hate Liv Tyler SOOOOOOO much though...

A Pillman/Steamboat match that IF I ever saw it I have no recollection of? AWESOME.

Shockingly not a very good match. It just never went anywhere and had a lame ending.

This was all that was talked about around Buffalo today. He was our only export that actually took pride in coming from this shithole.

What sucks is that lost in the madness...TNA actually had a nice 2 hour program last night.

I looked it up at Wikipeida to see what they used in the past: It says they did Team US vs. Team Japan in a tag, then Team Mexico vs. Team Canada in a tag... Then they did US vs. Mexico in a singles, and then Japan vs. canada in a singles... and then a gauntlet match... all of which had different points awarded. Now...in 2004 they had Ultimate X decide it and IIRC Team Japan was in last place and didn't get to be a part of the finals, even though they were in the other parts (I know there was a ladder match in there...but this was 4 years ago so I'm kinda fuzzy. I remember Skipper and Daniels winning a tag match...and Jerry Lynn losing the ladder match before Sabin won the Ultimate X and the tournament...) And they said that this year will have the Ultimate X...so they're making it up as they go along I guess. Either way...Team Japan has finished last both other times (and once that was with LIGER!!) so they'd better step it up...

They say on tonights show that this was just a preview this week. but I think next weeks start counting in the ranknings.

Actually that impending move to a different daddy roster would explain why creative has left all their "good" ideas out of it. ... Damn it... Oh well...maybe they'll forget about Smackdown when it's all alone and it'll get awesome again!

I'm excited that Sydal is in ECW. The show has been pretty darn good IMO the last couple weeks. That means they must have forgotten about it...cause it's been really entertaining.

For the love of God there was more action in that match than their usually is on a whole episode of this show. Scrap the whole XCup concept and just give those 4 all the time thay want on the next ppv. If they took those fast paced double team moves and had the time to showcase them in a match where they could build and build and build up to them they'd pretty much have pure gold in a wrestling ring. Very impressive stuff.

I'm just watching that match now. Let me say before I do watch it... THEY SHOULD HAVE JOE WRESTLE SOMEONE LIKE KAZ EVERY WEEK. Seriously...that was everything that I want in a TV match with my world champion. The opponent (in this case Kaz) gave a real good showing and then lost clean. No bullshit, fast action, hot crowd, no commercial...just a really solid 7 minutes of a credible champion against a credible challenger. It did my brain some rare good.

I got my 1000/1000 points in the game last night. I really enjoyed playing it. Lego Batman is next...so that's cool. Now...for LEGO BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER!!!!!!

We're to the point now in my draft where I'm probably just going to take albums that I listened to over and over again when I got my first car. ...Actually Vitalogy already started that trend... on the rating: Good. Is it too late to suggest that keeping the same handful of people on top for the last several years has lead to them not being able to grow an audience. The rating goes down when they are giving away 1million dollars...with a HHH/Hardy main event...building to a HHH/Cena match between the 2 top guys in the company. Rock/Austin this is not.
