That's because he can make anything funny. ... Except his wife. She's terrible. But he made the storyline funny anyway.
-
That hatred is not irrational. She wasn't even funny on Arrested Development. EVERYONE IS FUNNY ON ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. ... It's a rational hatred.
-
Only fazzle was surprised. I was surprised at how much it cost, not how much it made.
-
I said roughly...
-
Yeah...how in the hell did that cost $30 million? ... Harold and Kumar cost 12...and from the trailers it looks like they at least leave a basic room setup over the course of the movie. Baby Mama should have been able to come in for roughly the price of a video camera.

Top 50 Stars of the Last 50 Years
The Ghost of bps21 replied to EVIL~! alkeiper's topic in General Wrestling
I was thinking about Guerrero too. If this is based at all on name recognition...Hall and Nash have to be given some consideration for their run in WCW. That was a major boom period and I'd think that a lot of people would know them from the NWO angle. They certainly sold a ton of merchandise...even if it wasn't character specific. It's one of those things though...if it's meant for "fame" as in number of casual fans or lower that would know of the person...they'd have to be above Gene Kiniski and the like. No non-watcher would know who that is. And casual fans would certainly be more likely to know Hall or Nash since there were millions watching. -
The Bills like both of their backup running backs. The one guy (Jackson) played really well when Lynch was out last year. And the other guy they drafted last year...so I don't see them taking a back.
-
Jackson's still there too. He's the one I knew the Bills wouldn't take because he's smaller.
-
And...we took a big reviever. Not Kelly or Sweed though... hmm...
-
Well...my Bills need a big pass catcher of some kind. Kelly and Sweed are there. Take one of them... We haven't had a reciever over 6' in a while...

What were your 1-year-before Wrestlemania predictions?

I would have bet almost anything that HHH vs. Cena would main event this year after HHH was hurt last year. ... I was close. -
I'm iffy on it still... But I lose it when Franco tries to kick out the window of the car.
-
I just wanted you to know that I wasn't a super nerd who knew that off hand... Cause that would be lame. ... ... I'm currently simming through years of Madden 07 Superstar mode at 3 in the morning on a Friday night to get the last achievements I need... nothing lame going on over here.
-
For consoles it was Soul Calibur in 1999 ... I didn't know that off hand. They put it at the end of the review.
-
Incest... A shocking swerve. Daddy loved me TOO much and now I can't stop messageboarding.
-
They have the UK review up on ign now too. It's a different reviewer and the scores from the UK reviews on other games have been different than the US ones. It's all 10s just like the US review this time though.

I have to wait till Tuesday to pick mine up...but it doesn't really matter because I have to work through the midnight madness even if I had preordered at Gamestop.

Well...the Rangers/Penguins game certainly did a 180 -
Tuesday can't come fast enough. I have Tuesday and Wednesday off this week...so I should be able to get a nice fix in.

" Punk, Jericho, MVP, Morrison, Miz, and both Hardys, stand out in the midcard as something special, while a bunch of other guys (Yang, Moore, Finlay, Regal, Kofi, Palumbo, Noble, etc) bring it when given the chance" And part of the point that was being made is that of just this group you mentioned...only MVP and Matt Hardy are wrestling on the ppv. Punk won the MITB and the biggest match of his career last month. Then went to the finals of the KOTR...and he's not on the card. Regal won the KOTR...and he's not on the card. Morrison/Miz have been standouts on SD and ECW...not on the card. Festus had his great showing against Taker...not on the card. ECW is ignored mostly again with undefeated Kofi and the Dreamer/Delaney stuff not on the card. Raw started featuring tag matches with London/Kendrick, Cryme Time, Santino/Carlito, Rhodes/Holly...none of that either. It's like they've chosen to ignore the stuff that's been getting over on television. I understand not being able to get everything on the show...but that's a lot of stuff that was entertaining on TV...stuff that I would be interested in paying to see a payoff to...not making the cut.

All the hype around that match is more just that Sting was not a guy on that level going into that match...and coming out of it Flair put him on that level. It was the epitome of a star making match...which is why it's so fondly remembered.
-
Everyone agreed that the top matches would be good. Is there someone who honestly doesn't think that the top is getting a little stale right now?

Random Thoughts 3-27-08 to 5-28-08
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Cheech Tremendous's topic in The WWE Folder
He beat up Finlay's midget and then Finlay. He's also had good stuff with Finlay in the past and they compliment each other well. I'm going to guess... Jericho. -
There's only one way to find out. Next year...we should test this theory.

"Do you live in a normal house" was funny. But it was funnier when they did it on Extras. ...yeah I'm bored and just wanted to post...
