Ongoing Impact spoilers for Thursday
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
It would actually be kind of interesting if Lethal started ignoring Val as he concentrated on the rematch so Sonjay turns on him because Lethal was dickish. I love when heels have a reason to do something wrong. -

Yeah...by chasing I really meant just not champion. If the knockouts can get multiple ppv storylines...I'd like to think that the X guys could too. Although a Petey/Lethal rematch seems obvious and necessary to get out of the way first. -

The tag stuff looks stupid. But I'm glad they pulled the belt off Lethal. Great heel move by Petey Koing him with the case before cashing it in. They needed a change with that title. Lethal's better chasing. -
I'm just planning on going to Best Buy the morning it comes out. I used to preorder...but then found that retail stores always had tons of copies even when the gameshops sell out.

I found this amusing. There's gonna be popups though...so be warned. But still funny: Poll from PWTorch

Coach already had that spot anyway.

Ahh the great World title debate. For the sake of argument...i'll agree that if we're including the original ECW title...RoH should be counted as well. Hell...if Muraco and Snuka count from before Shane Douglas threw down the NWA title...and the current version is counting (which really...ugh) You might as well let everything in.

The Things That Anger You Thread.
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Chat
As I said in the pictures I like thread: People who say "I could care less" should be rounded up and put in prison camps. I've also noticed a rise in the phrase "I seen" as in "I seen this movie..." Or "I seen him at the mall." These people must go as well. -
Edge and Chavo could come out and cost them the match. That's what should happen anyway...
-
THANK YOU. That is one of my absolute pet peeves. People who say "I could care less" make me want to punch them in the fucking face.
-
At some point I'd like to see someone like...Balls Mahoney or Nunzio come out and ask Estrada why they can't get on the show every week with contracts...but Colin can without one.

It's not as bad as hockey retiring 99 altogether. That was the dumbest fucking thing I've ever seen.

King of the Ring tournament to return
The Ghost of bps21 replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
I could definitely see someone like MVP winning when HBK/Batista/Jericho keep costing each other matches. Then he can claim to have "beaten" all of these top guys and former world champions. I love when heels can do that. ...except Orton. For some reason his legit claims of beating people do nothing for me. -
I'd like to see Rhino work with Angle. It seems there going to hold off on AJ/Angle for a while (if they could stretch it so they have a match at BFG...Let's just say I would look at a card with Joe/Sting and Angle/AJ and be teh happiest kid in the candy store) so Angle needs something. Although he could be inserted into the Sacrifice match...WWE style. And then Slammiversarry is KOTM...so he'll still be around the top until then. But at some point I think Rhino/Angle could be really good.

King of the Ring tournament to return
The Ghost of bps21 replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
I MUCH prefer when it was a one night tournament. Winning 3 matches in a month does nothing for me. Winning 3 matches in a night is pretty cool. It's like the Giants winning the SuperBowl...they only had to be that good on one day. I like that concept. -

The Ghost of bps21 replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
The last time they dusted it off out of nowhere...it gave Booker T the legs for a run on top and a new character. Hopefully they use it the same way...and not to stroke someone's ego who doesn't need another accolade. -
Well...ForumPro seems an obvious choice...

I kinda like to look more at length of time holding the titles relative to the era their in. No one's going to hold titles as long as lou Thesz did...but that was a different era. I mean...if you go by number of reigns....is it his fault that he'd hold it for years without losing it? Isn't it actually better? For example...Dusty rhodes is a 3 time world champion. ...for a grand total of like...less than a month. So who gives an F? Dusty did it during a time when people were holding titles for longer periods on average... Is there ANY way possible that his 3 reigns should be held in higher regard than...JBL's one? He held a world title FAR longer in an era where titles weren't held as long as Dusty's time period. That's just a random example...but I don't think having a high title # is as impressive.

It's that time. We'll move up the card a bit this week. Before Angle...before Sting...TNA made a different "major acquisition". Christian Cage Name: Christian Cage Height: 6'1'' Weight: 240 Age: 34 TNA Debut: November 13, 2005 Accomplishments: 2x NWA World Heavyweight Champion, 3x WWE IC Champion, 9X WWE Tag Team Champion, WWE European Champion, WWE Light Heavyweight Champion, WWE Hardcore Champion Background: Arguably the first person to choose to leave WWE and make TNA his home, Christian debuted as a face and unseated Jeff Jarrett for his first World title. Cage has said all along he made the decision to come to TNA because he fealt he was never going to get the chance to be at the top of the card in WWE. He would eventually turn heel (where he's more natural) and capture a second NWA title. He's back to the face side now after memorable feuds with Rhino, Joe and Angle. Points for Discussion: Well...he wanted to be a top guy and he has been for 2 and a half years now...what are your thoughts on his TNA tenure thus far? Thoughts on the Christian Coalition that saw the debut of Tomko and the new character start for AJ Styles? Best matches (regardless of what Truthiness will no doubt be telling us in this thead)? His near 2 year streak of being unpinned and unsubmitted? How would you compare his ring work now from before he left WWE? His promos now that he is a focus of a company?

Yeah...but Santino would have to win 3 matches...has he done that in total? -

This would be sweet. I love me some one day tournaments. -
No...no...nothing is right here. Why...He's not a forumpro at all! His hat comes right off!
-
it wasn't supposed to be either. It was supposed to be what it was. A fusing of different popular ring sports.

Joe became the third triple crown winner in TNA. Of course...AJ's done it 3 times.

We made Leena complain about TNA getting attention today. ... I'm...just...so...proud...
