I'm a-okay with losing to you, Danny. However, would you mind looking over my match in the losers thread and tell me what you thought (how the match was, did I get the Danny Williams character down correct, all that good stuff)? I enjoyed writing you and I thought I wrote a pretty decent match.

Damn. So close. I liked the way this match came out, though. -------------------------------------- “WEEEEELCOME back to SWF Smarkdown~!” comes the greeting from Longdogger Pete, “We are LIVE, LIVE, LIVE in CHILE, CHILE, CHILE!” “It’s almost like the REAL America!” “King sure loves those burlesque houses.” “It wasn’t really a house. More of an apartment…” “As long as they are all over 18, then it is A-OKAY!” “At least by SWF standards.” “Let’s try and not get into SWF standards,” warns Pete, “We might have Terrence ‘Janus’ Bailey come out here again…” “Good point,” agrees King, “Now to the action!” The camera pans across the fans inside the Estadio Nacional before cutting to the ring, where Funyon stands waiting. “The following contest is scheduled for one fall and has a thirty-minute time limit. First, making his way to the ring…” Every light in the arena goes to full power as the Smarktron whites out. For a moment the only sound is that of a needle scratching over vinyl... And then *BAM* The crashing guitars of Lamb of God’s “Black Label” send a bolt through the crowd. The drumming sends a jolt throughout the arena, as the pace of the intro begins to pick up. Finally… “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” The high-pitched scream of Randy Blythe breaks through the speakers as the bright white lights begin flashing at the entranceway. Spike stumbles out dryly from behind the entrance curtain, the black hood from his “The Chariot” zip-up hoodie covering his face, with only a few strands of hair being visible. Spike drops down to one knee, leaving one arm to hang to the ground, while the other is firmly placed on his knee. After a few moments, Spike raises both arms into an “X”, symbolizing his Straight Edge life style. Spike rises to his feet and begins to make his way down the isle towards the ring. ”Weighing in at a total of Two Hundred and Twenty Five pounds! He hails from Hollywood, California…he is “HOLLYYYYWOOOOOOD” SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNKINNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!” Spike rolls underneath the bottom rope, until he hits dead center in the middle of the ring. Spike rises to one knee and resumes the position he was in at the top of the entranceway. One arm hanging to the ground, the other placed on his knee. Finally, Spike rises to his feet. He quickly peels off the hood, releasing his blonde, dyed hair free. He puts his arms together, forming an “X” across his chest, again promoting his Straight Edge life style. “Jenkins looks ready for this match. He isn’t sure who is opponent is, but at this point in time, I don’t think it matters.” “Well, you saw what he did to Tom Flesher! He blamed Flesher for his loss to Mak Francis in the two-out-of-three falls match that gave the number one contendership to Mak. He said Flesher was scared and jealous of him!” cries King, “That is lunacy! The Superior One jealous and afraid of Spike Jenkins? Ridiculous!” “Well, Flesher told Spike that if he wanted to be in the main event, that he should prove it. He booked this match for tonight! But when he did, not only did he not tell Spike who the opponent is, but also he told him that it is an SWF Legend! Who can it be?” wonders the Longdogger. “Spike has a lot of balls to come out here to take on a legend and not know who it is.” “He thinks he can do it and prove he deserves a shot at Toxxic…” “Considering the fact that he has injured Sean Davis and taken him out of Revolution Zero and tried to murder Scott Pretzler in that “Brawl-O in Sao Paulo” on Lockdown!” Spike paces around the ring, waiting for his opponent to arrive. Tension is building up in the audience as everyone quiets down…waiting… “AND HIS OPPONENT!” booms Funyon over the quiet audience. ……… Silence ……… ……… And then… ……… ……… ……… In Flames. Jesters Dance. “OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!!!!!!!! IT’S DANNY WILLIAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!” SCREAMS Pete. King just stares, eyes-widened, jaw dropped, not sure what to say. “Dan-e! Dan-e! Dan-e!” The chant grows and grows but Williams is nowhere in sight. At long last the heroic power chords kick in, announcing the arrival of the man himself. The moment Williams steps through the curtains, the crowd explodes into cheers. Ravenous fans mass at the guardrail, hoping to get a closer look at the now mythical wrestler whose strength and agility is now the stuff of legend. Just by confidently walking the down the aisle, Williams has attracted the attention of hundreds of cameras. Danny climbs onto the ring apron and slingshots himself over the top rope into the ring to the awe of the crowd. Even Funyon stands stunned, incapable of making the announcement. Snapping himself back to life, he lifts his chin up to pronounce the name of one of the SWF’s decretive superstars in the history of the business. “Weighing in at a total of Two Hundred and Sixty-Five pounds…hailing from Louisville, Kentucky……DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYYYYYY WILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIAMSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” The crowd explodes as Danny raises both arms in the air, taking in the level of excitement flowing through the crowd. Everyone in the arena is on their feet with a look of awe and/or shock on their face… …Well, except one person… …Spike Jenkins. “Spike doesn’t looked pleased that he has to go one-on-one with Danny Williams in Danny’s return match!” “Really? Can you blame him?” “Honestly, I can’t. He must seriously be doubting himself right now.” For the first time since coming out to the ring, Danny looks at his opponent. He sizes the taller, but thinner Jenkins up. On the opposite side of the ring, Spike does the same. “This is the first time these two have ever been in a ring together. When Danny was climbing the ranks to the SWF and ultimately, becoming the SWF World Heavyweight Champion on three different occasions, Spike was climbing the ladder in the SJL or just making his debut in the SWF!” “A first time match here on Smarkdown in Chile!” says King, who stops to think for a moment, “Wow…Spike must HATE Tom Flesher right about now.” “I don’t think he ever stopped hating Tom Flesher…” The referee enters the middle of the ring, looks at both men to make sure they are ready…and signals for the bell! *DING DING DING* The bell signals and Danny Williams comes tearing out of the corner, straight for Jenkins who sidesteps him and circles around the ring. Williams stands confident, ready for his return to the SWF and ready to take out the former Number One Contender to the SWF World Heavyweight Title. “Spike Jenkins has NO idea what he has gotten himself into,” says Pete. “The ring bell may be the very last thing he will ever hear,” “That may be so…” Danny follows Spike around the ring, both men circling and meeting up in the center of the squared circle. Williams holds his arms out, looking for a knuckle-lock. Spike goes to lock hands with him…but instead backs away to the dislike of the fans. “BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” “The crowd is very vocal tonight in their support for the returning Danny Williams!” Spike charges into the awaiting Danny Williams and both men lock in a collar-elbow tie up. Danny Williams quickly takes the advantage as he spins around Spike and grabs a rear waist-lock. Spike tries to break free, but Danny drops to one knee to keep himself in position. Spike rips at the former three time World Heavyweight Champion’s fingers and breaks free into a arm wringer…without much hesitation, though, Danny drives his elbow into hand of Jenkins, forcing Spike to break the hold and back away clutching his left hand. “And Jenkins knows to get away when Danny starts to bust out those elbows!” “Hell, it’s common sense.” Both men circle around the ring, again. Danny enters the center of the ring, waiting for Jenkins to come in with him. Spike comes in towards Danny. Danny looks for a collar-elbow tie up…but the much faster Jenkins slips behind him with a rear waist-lock. Before Danny can reverse, he is facing the ceiling as Spike trips him over down to the mat. Spike grabs Danny’s ankle and turns him over onto his stomach. He then drops down and locks in a side-headlock. Danny slips out of it though and drives Spike face first onto the mat. He mounts Spike from behind and raises his forearm in the air to strike down…but Spike wiggles free from underneath The Master of the Elbow Smash! “Spike knew those elbow smashes were coming so he RAN!” says Pete. “What else is there for him to do? Stay there and get hit?” questions King. Spike pops up to his feet and looks around in awe as the Chile fans cheer for Danny. “DAN-E! DAN-E! DAN-EEE!” Both men begin to circle around the ring. They meet in the center with a collar-elbow tie up, that Williams gets the advantage of with a go-behind and a full nelson. Spike brings all his weight down to the mat, trying to break out of the hold, but Danny keeps it firmly locked in. Spike lifts his arm up and drives his elbow into the arm of Danny, breaking the full nelson. As quickly as the hold was broken, Spike grabs Danny’s other arm and twists it into an arm wringer. Jenkins’ twists the arm behind Danny’s back into a hammerlock. Danny clutches his shoulder and tries to feel a way out of the hold, but Spike keeps the basic submission locked in. Danny drops to the mat, breaking the hold and wrapping his legs around the left leg of Jenkins and bringing Spike down to the mat. “Drop toe hold by Williams!” Danny keeps the leg intact and bridges into a standing position on his side, wrenching the leg of Spike! Spike flails his arm around, trying to escape. Danny, being the much, much, much, MUCH wiser wrestler of the two, grabs the arm and locks it behind Spike with his own hammerlock. He releases the former Cruiserweight Champion’s leg and mounts his back, switching between his hands to his knee and keeping Spike’s arm held to his back. Spike tries to use his other free arm to swing back at the head of Williams, but Danny catches it. He locks his arm around it and stretches it back with a variation of an abdominal stretch! “He has one of Spike’s arms held behind his back in a hammerlock and the other locked in some sort of Abdominal Stretch! Danny Williams has not missed a beat since leaving the SWF!” “Ewwww, Spike’s shoulder blades are pretty much right on top of each other…” Danny stretches back on Jenkins, who screams out in pain. Danny wields back his right arm, ready to drop down some elbows to the skull of Spike… …But Spike is able to pull his arm out from the abdominal stretch and shimmies backwards out from underneath Williams. “Danny was going to go for the elbows again, but Spike just BARELY making it out,” says Pete, but he is soon cut off by the actions inside the ring. Danny gets to a full stance and begins to walk away from the downed Spike…but Spike grabs a hold of his ankle and jumps to his feet. Danny tries to hop to the ropes, grabbing the top rope with one hand…but Spike just heaves him off and into the center of the ring. Danny swings haymakers at Spike, who easily dodges them. Spike places his leg behind the back of Danny’s free leg and knocks him backwards to the mat. With Danny on the mat, Spike hooks both legs and tries to turn the former Heavyweight Champion over for a Boston Crab…but Danny squirms his way towards the ropes, hooking the bottom rope with his right arm. “Danny Williams is a true ring general. He knew where he was and he knew where he was going and he GOT there,” “Okay, stop flattering Danny Williams’ ego. He’s back, everybody Wang Chung tonight, yippee!” The referee gets in Spike’s face to break the hold, but Spike tries to pull Danny off the ropes. Danny clings on as the referee begins his count. ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! “Break the hold!” Spike releases Danny and backs away to the other side of the ring. Danny rolls up to his feet, staring a hole into the Hollywood Superstar. They both keep an eye on each other as they circle around, again. “LETS GO DANN-E! LETS GO DANN-E!” They meet in the center of the ring and tie up. Spike gets the advantage and pulls Danny into a side headlock. Danny pushes Spike back into the ropes and whips him off the side headlock and across the ring. Spike charges into the ropes and bounces back towards Danny, who waits for him in the center of the ring…only to be taken down by a shoulder tackle from Jenkins. Spike turns and charges into the ropes. He bounces off them as Danny turns over onto his stomach. Spike comes off the ropes and leapfrogs over Danny and continues across the ring. Spike hits the ropes and bounces off, rebounding right towards an awaiting Danny Williams. Danny locks his arm under Spike’s and lifts the much lighter Spike into the air for a hip toss…but Spike’s weight and speed give him the advantage as he easily lands on his feet, reverses and locks his arm underneath Danny’s and lifts him through the air and drives him to the mat with a hip toss! “Off the ropes with Spike into an attempted hip toss by Danny Williams that is countered by Jenkins and his own hip toss!” Danny shoots up to his feet and charges towards Spike who hooks his arm with Danny’s and shoots him over with an arm drag. “Danny right back up into an arm drag,” Danny gets right back up and again charges in at Spike who locks arms again and flips him over onto his back with a Japanese arm drag! “Japanese arm drag by Jenkins!” Danny shoots up back to his feet as Jenkins takes his time…and kips up into a standing position. Spike turns towards Williams and gives him the famous cocky grin as Danny figures out his next move. “And the Chile crowd is giving both men a standing ovation,” says Pete. “No. They are just cheering Spike cause he is throwing Danny around like the piece of garbage he is,” After the “respect claps” die down, the fans voices start getting louder and louder… “DAN-E! DAN-E! DAN-E!” Both men back up into a corner and stare each other down. They walk into the center of the ring; both ready for attack and lock up in a collar-elbow tie up. Spike takes the lead as he hooks Danny’s arm and slides underneath him for a hammerlock. Spike wrenches back on the arm, causing Danny to squirm in agony. Danny kneels over, turning his side to Jenkins. He uses his free arm to wrap around Spike’s leg and drops to his back, bringing Spike face first down to the mat. Spike tries to struggle away, but Danny quickly reverse mounts Spike’s back. He hooks one of Jenkins’ legs and pulls back in a Single Leg Boston Crab! “Danny Williams going after the leg and bringing Spike to the ground.” Danny sits on the lower back of Jenkins and pulls back, causing Spike to scream in pain. Spike reaches for the ropes, but is out of reach. He lifts himself off the mat, with Williams on his back and crawls his way over towards the ropes. “Danny is just cinching in that half crab, putting pressure on the lower back and the leg of Jenkins.” Spike screams in anguish as he reaches for the ropes. Danny continues pulling back on the leg. The fans scream at Jenkins to tap out, but he refuses to do so. He reaches for the ropes…and just barely grabs the ropes. He pulls himself closer…reaches…and just tips the ropes. “Spike is close to the ropes. This move is effective, but it’s not in the center of the ring which may cause Danny to break it.” Spike reaches for the ropes…and grabs the bottom rope! The referee jumps to his feet and calls for Danny to break the hold…who breaks it before the one count. “Clean break by Danny Williams, unlike his challenger from earlier in the match.” “Really sets apart the way each competitor is taking on the match, eh?” “That it does, King. That it does.” “…………Danny Williams is a little bitch.” “…………” Danny backs away as Spike climbs up to his feet. He fixes the knee brace on his left knee, the knee that Danny had locked in. The circle around the ring again, keeping an eye on each other as they center up. Spike holds his hands out for a Greco-Roman knuckle lock…but Danny slaps his hand away, as if saying, “No, we aren’t going to do that.” Spike shoots in for the collar-elbow tie up. They both struggle for control, but Spike quickly moves into a hammerlock on Williams. Danny tries to move out of it, but before he can, Spike sneaks underneath the other arm of Danny’s. He releases the hammerlock and quickly locks his arms around the neck of Williams, pulling his head into a Cravat! “The cravat!” “The what-now?” “Oh come on, you’ve seen this before!” starts Pete, “This is Spike Jenkins favorite chain-wrestling maneuver. It is a variation of a headlock in Europe!” “But we are in South America…no where near Europe!” Spike wrenches on the neck with the cravat, forcing Danny to squirm in pain. Danny feels around for a bit, trying to figure a way out. He wraps his arm around the neck of Jenkins and drops to the mat, forcing Spike to roll off of him and break the hold! Both men jump to their feet and another stand off commences. “Danny Williams just blew the cravat off!” “Cravat…that is a funny word…” “Now isn’t the time, King.” Instead of stopping to take a minute and figure out how Danny did that, Spike begins pacing around the ring. Danny follows in suit and both men meet up in the center of the ring with a collar-elbow tie up. Spike breaks the arm away and pulls Danny into a side headlock. Danny shoves Spike back into the ropes and whips him off across the ring. Spike heads across the ring and bounces off the ropes. Danny drops down to a laying position on the mat, causing Spike to leap over him and continue into the ropes. Spike hits the ropes and bounces back as Danny gets to his feet, leaps into the air, and leapfrogs over Spike. Spike continues off into the ropes, bouncing off them for a third time and comes flying back towards the awaiting Danny Williams. Danny locks his arm around the incoming Spike’s and flips him over onto his back with an arm drag takeover! Both men jump to their feet. Spike charges in towards Danny and gets taken over with another arm drag takeover! They both jump to their feet again. As Spike gets to his feet, he is caught with a dropkick to the chest that sends him to the mat! Spike rolls away from the rapid attack and rolls out of the ring onto the floor! “Two nice arm drags by Danny Williams and a dropkick sends Spike to the floor!” Spike stumbles around on the floor for a few moments, before turning back towards the ring… …ONLY TO CATCH AN ELBOW SUICIDA FROM DANNY WILLIAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! “ELBOW SUICIDA!!!!!!!!” screams Pete. Spike FLIES backwards into the guardrail, as Danny hits headfirst right after Spike. “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!” “Elbow suicida that might have knocked Spike Jenkins out cold!” “The first elbow Danny gives in his return is the elbow suicida…yeah, I feel really bad for Spike right about now.” Danny climbs to his feet; obviously very happy with the impact he got from the dive. Underneath him, Spike rolls around, clutching his jaw in pain. Knowing he has a few seconds to spare, Danny starts flexing for the fans that have given him such a warm reception back into the SWF. “Danny Williams is giving the fans a show to see.” “I don’t know about them, but I don’t want to see Danny flex his muscles…” “Despite all the problems he went through and the demons he faced, Danny Williams looks to be in top shape!” Spike begins to stir and climbs to his knees. Danny catches this out of the corner of his eye and goes back to attack. He grabs Spike by the hair and pulls him to his feet. He wields back and slams his elbow into the jaw of Jenkins! *CRACK* Spike stumbles back…but responds with an open-palm shot to the face! “SHOTEI!” Danny stumbles back from the stiff strike…but he responds with another elbow to the jaw! *CRACK* Spike stumbles back again…but again responds with a shotei! Danny falls backwards…but leans back for another elbow shot…only to receive a poke to the eyes by Jenkins! “BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!” “A poke to the eyes by Spike Jenkins! What the hell is that?” questions Pete. “Spike said he would do anything to win…and well, that is anything!” responds King with amusement in his voice, “I loved it!” Danny grabs his eyes as he stumbles back. Spike takes the opportunity to wind up…and SMACKS Danny with an open-palm uppercut. Danny falls back and leans on the guardrail for support. Spike turns around and begins walking away from Danny, distancing himself for his next attack. Spike points to his elbow, signaling for a running elbow strike. He turns and charges at the stunned Danny. He raises his arm up, ready to smash into Danny’s face… “Running elbow strike by Spike Jenkins!” calls Pete. …But before he can hit his target, Danny pops up, catches Spike and using his own momentum against him, throws Spike backwards OVER the guardrail and into the crowd with a release overhead belly-to-belly suplex!!!! “OH MY GOD!!!!” “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!” Spike crashes into the cement floor, just barely missing the fans as he hit the walkway. He immediately grabs at his ribs and rolls around in agony. Danny starts walking around, catching his breath and to clear his head. “Belly to belly suplex INTO the crowd! Oh my God!” cries Pete. “That was unbelievable!” Danny turns and makes his way over towards where Spike is laying. He climbs over the barricade and grabs Spike by the hair, pulling him to his feet. He drags Spike back over the guardrail and drags him towards the ring. He rolls Spike underneath the bottom rope and follows behind him. “DAN-E!! DAN-E!! DAN-E!!” Danny covers Spike! ONE!!!!! TWO!!!!! THREE!!!!! NO!!!!! Spike gets his foot on the rope!!! “I don’t know HOW Spike kicked out of that!” “Only someone like Danny Williams can pull a move like that off…and only someone as crazy as Spike Jenkins can kick out of it!” “Spike Jenkins guts and ability to take a beating aren’t at question anymore here in the SWF,” starts Pete, “He probably has been dropped on his head or off high places more times than anybody in this company.” “Well, the fact that he has been in this company longer than anybody without leaving really says something…” “Yeah…we pay him a lot.” Danny climbs to his feet; obviously feeling disappointed that he didn’t get the win. He grabs Spike by the hair and pulls him to his feet. Dragging him into the corner, he grabs Spike by the wrist and Irish whips him into the opposite corner. Spike charges into the corner and hits hard, back first. Danny points to his elbow and charges in for his own running elbow…only to run face first into the boot of Jenkins! “Spike raises the boot just in time.” Danny stumbles back, giving Spike enough time to signal for the lariat. He bursts out of the corner, ready to take Danny’s head off…only to have Danny counter it by locking his arm around Spike’s! Spike pulls his arm away, causing Danny to spin around. When Danny makes a full 360-degree spin, Spike wraps his arms around his waist and hoists him into the air, throwing him backwards into the turnbuckles!!!! “EXPLODER SUPLEX INTO THE CORNER!!!” Danny smacks back first against the turnbuckles…but the worst blow comes when he falls directly on top of his head on the mat! Spike climbs to his knees and pulls Danny out of the corner, turning him over onto his back, and covering him! ONE!!!!! TWO!!!! THREE----NOOOO! Danny kicks out! “YEEEEAAAHHHH!!!!!” “I don’t believe it! Danny Williams kicked out of that amazing Exploder Suplex into the Turnbuckles!” “As we all know…Danny Williams is a tough son of a bitch.” “But how much did that Exploder take out of Danny?” asks Pete, “We all say him land on his head. Could he have aggravated that injured neck of his? The same neck that has taken him out of action many times before?” Spike staggers to his feet, looking dazed and confused. He looks down at Danny Williams and around at the crowd as he rips the elbow pad off his arm. “Spike is signaling for the Lariat!” “The Lariat is usually only good against lighter opponents…but Danny Williams’ neck is totally shot,” notes King, “This may give Spike the win if he hits it!” Danny struggles to crawl away from the corner, unknowingly into the exact spot Spike wants him in. Danny climbs to his feet in the middle of the ring, facing away from Spike. Jenkins charges into the ropes that Danny is facing. He hits the ropes and speeds up as he comes closer to Danny. Spike throws his arm out, ready to take Danny’s head off… …Only Danny ducks it! “Danny dodged the Lariat!” Spike stops dead in his tracks and turns around towards Danny… *CRACK* …Only to be completely taken off his feet by a famous Danny Williams Rolling Elbow!!! “ROLLING ELBOW!” “Spike Jenkins is OUT COLD!” shouts King. Spike collapses in a heap to the mat, with Danny following right behind him for the cover! ONE!!!!!!! TWO!!!!!!! “It’s all over, folks!” THREE!!!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!! SPIKE GETS A SHOULDER UP!!! “Spike Jenkins is just refusing to give up that shot at Toxxic!” “If Spike doesn’t give up that shot at Toxxic, sooner or later, Danny Williams is going to break his jaw!” Danny Williams jumps to his feet, feeling the electricity of the crowd as he gets his second breath. He grabs the elbow pad on his arm and RIPS it off as the crowd goes nuts. “Danny is setting up for the AXE BOMBER!” Spike begins to stir, as he climbs to his feet in the exact same spot Danny was a few seconds ago. Danny charges into the ropes that Spike is facing. He hits the ropes and speeds up as he comes closer to Jenkins. Williams throws his arm out, ready to take Spike’s head off… …Only Spike counters it by locking his arm around Danny’s! “The same counter Danny used before when he blocked Spike’s lariat!” Pete brings up. With Danny’s arm locked with his, Spike quickly dodges behind Danny, locking his other arm with Danny’s other arm and forcing them together back to back. Spike drops to his knees, taking over the Master of the Elbow Smash with a backslide! All of Danny’s weight is positioned on his back neck as Spike goes for the flash pin! ONE!!!!! TWO!!!! THREE!!!!!!!!!!! *Ding Ding Ding* “I don’t believe it!” cries Pete, “Spike Jenkins beat Danny Williams with a backslide!” Spike releases the hold and quickly rolls out of the ring. He raises his arms in the air in victory as he stumbles around confused. Danny climbs to his feet, holding his neck and arguing with the referee that it was a two count. “Here is your winner… “HOLLYWOOD” SPIKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKE JENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!” booms Funyon. “The crowd is not liking this,” says King, “Damn Danny Williams fans.” “Whatever the case may be…Spike Jenkins has moved himself one step closer to a title match against Toxxic. A win over a three time World Heavyweight Champion has just sky rocketed him up the rankings!” Danny Williams stands in the middle of the ring, pissed off as the referee charges up the ramp towards Jenkins. The last shot before commercial break is the referee raising Spike’s arm in the air… …And Spike giving off his signature grin… [Commercial break]

Johnny, Spike isn't a face....he is a tweener. He is still a little asshole...just a lone wolf. He's out to beat anyone and everyone, face or heel. And I felt that considering people still consider me a constant no-shower, that I'd have to do a small program with a big name in the fed and go over, thus making it seem that Spike actually DESERVES the title shot.
