Yeah, I'm going to tell that guy to suck my dick.

It's too bad that there isn't a Carolina fan here for me to heckle. This was one of the more satisfying wins for Tampa in recent memory. When you consider that Florida also won big, you have the recipe for one Awesome Gay Football Weekend.

Texas ball. Game ovah. I guess Bama goes to #1 after this. Texas will be #2 or #3, depending on what happens in Gainesville tonight.
-
Bradford just got crushed. Not looking good for OU.

Haha. Oh, man, Michigan. Losing to Toledo. firerichrodriguez.com EDIT: TD TEXAS!
-
The block on that almost touchdown pass was fucking brutal. This one's shaping up to be a "whoever has the ball last" kind of deal. EDIT: Haha. Good recovery by the receiver on the 2 point conversion.
-
Looked like he actually hurt himself with his acting job. Ha. And then OU goes down and scores a TD.

This. The one exception is in the NCAA men's basketball tournament, but only if the "Cinderella" team gets knocked off no later than the Elite Eight. Any further than that and it's "OMG JV BULLSHIT RATINGS ER TURRIBLE LOLOLOL." In pro sports, the whole notion that small-market teams are somehow inherently less interesting than large-market teams is something that really sets me off. That's why I can't listen to Colin Cowherd.

Boy, those Anglesault posts are as grating now as they were in 2002. I voted for TAKA Michinoku, by the way. Triple H really elevated this guy in that match they had, and I could easily see him in a midcard program with Perry Saturn's mop. They open Mania with that, I'm buying.

Jeff Garcia to start for the Bucs this Sunday. I doubt this will make a huge difference, as Griese and Garcia are pretty interchangeable at this point, although Garcia turns the ball over a lot less. If he can stop being so jumpy in the pocket and not key in on one receiver so much, this could end up being a positive thing.

I was just going to say that. Czech's no-coast bias is really showing here. Oh, and Texas A&M is in College Station, which is fairly close to Houston. Buttrape is about 45 minutes outside of Sweetwater.

The moment your favorite superstar or any wrestler jumped the shark

What a horrible bunch of fucking bullshit that entire InVasion storyline was. Even six years down the road, I still can't believe they managed to turn the acquisition of WCW into something so unwatchable that it turned me off of wrestling forever. -

Although it was at least partly responsible for tanking the company, Austin's 2002 heel character was pretty awesome and really added some freshness to an act that had been stale since '99 or so. I'd agree with the other guy that his career really started to wind down with the subsequent post-Alliance face turn, when the company attempted to press the "reset" button and he was right back to doing the same tired routine. -
I've spent years arguing that it should be.

Yeah, Whataburger, they had those in Texas. Nothing special. Anyone ever been to a Roy Rogers? I remember there being some of those up in Northern Virginia. Pretty good, as I recall.

For true. I looked it up on Wikipedia. Things you can't do on Yom Kippur if you're Jewish: Seems a little out of place. I don't think I could do religion even if I tried.
-
You can't wear leather shoes on Yom Kippur, for some reason. This would seem to leave the door open for leather jackets, hats, any sort of bondage gear, etc. Just no shoes. What gives?
-
Happy Yom Kippur, Jews. I still think it sounds made up.

Wire's Pink Flag also comes highly suggested, if you've never heard that.

But at least "U Can't Touch This" is on there, right? I don't really get why people get up in arms over these VH1 lists. They're designed to cast as wide a net as possible and inclusions/exclusions are heavily influenced by who VH1 is able to book to appear on the accompanying TV special.
-
I wouldn't bother. They're not any good. I don't really care for New Order, either, aside from a few songs.
-
You're using "devastating" ironically, right? See, I thought the rest of the post would make it obvious. Yes. Yes, I was.

The Saints suffer another devastating injury as Martin "Not-so Automatica" Gramatica is put on IR. I don't know what happened to this guy. He was fantastic for years in Tampa, then had that horrible game against Carolina in 2003 and never recovered. Really no reason for him to be on an NFL roster at this point.

Oh, yeah. Worked in a restaurant where we cut our own french fries. You'd invariably get one box that would have some rotting, liquefied potatoes at the bottom. I saw a few maggots here and there. The worst is mold, in my opinion. Moreso than anything else, the smell of moldy food sets my gag reflex off.
