The timing of his mysterious disappearance seems to coincide with Mr Rant's visit to Atlanta. I'm not saying, I'm just...speculating.

Although that has been the pattern in the brief history of the NFC South, it's presumptuous to say that the Bucs will be one-and-done. They're currently in a three-way tie for 1st place in the division, with one of their two wins coming over that Atlanta juggernaut.

No Bucs-Packers here because of the goddamn Falcons. If the Tampa area wasn't such a tropical scuzzbucket hellhole full of scumbags, I'd move there just to avoid this bullshit.

1. The Bengals. The team is completely dysfunctional, they have no defense, their offensive line can neither run block nor pass protect, their best receiver has the improbable last name of "Ocho Cinco," etc. The Browns, like the Ohio State Buckeyes, just have no heart right now. 2. Maybe. It looks like the Matt Schaub thing might not be working out. They'll probably equal last year's finish and land somewhere in the .500 area. The offensive line still seems to be a concern. 3. No. Atlanta has beaten Detroit and Kansas City. All they've proven is that they're not the worst team in the league. 4. Probably not. Pittsburgh's big weakness is the o-line, which plays right into Baltimore's strengths. If Baltimore can get anything going on offense or force a lot of points off of turnovers, that's a totally winnable game for them. Worst division in the league right there. 5. They didn't have a chance to begin with.

You know who he could go to for advice on how to deal with that? Chris Simms.

Holy shit are there some awful threads in this folder right now.

I once had to take a bunch of samples with this kit that they gave me at the hospital, so I can say with total certainty that this is false. That was an upleasant experience. Ruined a lot of perfectly usable Tupperware.

Harvest is such a strange record when taken in the context of the rest of his output from that period. Very slick, very professional. "A Man Needs a Maid" and "There's a World," in particular, are songs that are unlike anything else that he ever did. I like the album all right but would definitely rate it near the bottom of his peak-era stuff. "Old Man," that's a good one. That song can incite some of the most horrifically off-key karaoke singing imaginable.

Oh, boy. The last time a team from Alabama came to Athens, my cat got hit by a car. Who knows what sort of tragedy will befall me this time around. Maybe I'll die.

Czech did, in fact, go on record with his dislike for Tonight's the Night and even went so far as to mock the part of "Mellow My Mind" where his voice cracks. This comment made a real impression on me and I vowed to never again listen to anything that guy had to say.
-
I like that he acknowledges the song's lack of focus with the "it's hard to say the meaning of this song" line. Unfortunately, that's really the only part of the song that I enjoy.

I also need to get Time Fades Away. I *think* that's the only 70s album of his that I don't have.

I'm a huge Neil Young fan, but I must admit to not being thrilled with On the Beach. "Walk On," "Revolution Blues," and the title track are all awesome, but I feel like most of the rest of the album drags. "Ambulance Blues," in particular, is an unfocused mess that just refuses to end. My top 5 Neil Young albums: 1. Tonight's the Night 2. Everybody Knows This is Nowhere 3. Rust Never Sleeps 4. Zuma 5. After the Gold Rush

Everyone having the same avatar gives the impression that this is one person having a heated debate with himself. Yeah, I know I could I look at the username, but I don't want to. If you ask me, the fat cats in this do-nothing board administration need to get off their fat cans and do something about these avatar-sharing shenanigans.

3-0! Despite New England's defense getting gashed repeatedly by a fucking college play and netting all of -4 fantasy points, I managed to win by 20 over whoever Sticky Stahl Juice is. Jerramy Stevens and Pierre Thomas put me over the top. Can we get a roll call for the TSM league? It makes it somewhat less satisfying not knowing which poster I'm embarrassing.

Guy on the far right looks a bit like the wrestling fag who was in everyone's signature 9 months ago. I'm sorry that I can't be any more specific than that. Anyway, this band isn't getting any better.

You could have a standard bowel movement. I guess I kind of lobbed that one over the plate, huh?

Oh, man. The Panthers lost and the Saints are getting crushed at Denver. Could this day get any better?

Antonio Bryant. Most widely known for throwing a towel on Bill Parcells when both were with Dallas, he was signed out of exile this offseason to be the latest in a long line of Jon Gruden Reclamation Projects. Fans have had high hopes for him. He started today with Galloway out and had 10 catches for 100+ yards. Really encouraging.

Bucs win! Griese with over 400 yards passing on 67 attempts. This is not a formula for success, but whatever. With Green Bay and Denver coming up in the next two weeks, we needed a win.
-
Fuck me, first and ten at the 39 and we don't even try to run the ball to get into field goal range.
-
TOUCHDOWN! Overtime. I take it all back, Brian Griese.

For the second time this season, the Bucs will have a chance to drive in the last 2 minutes to either win or force overtime. I'm sitting here watching the little colored lines move on NFL.com and I feel absolutely sick to my stomach. I have no idea how coaches do this for a living.
