He's not even gone and I already miss him. I'm now thinking an Obama video to the tune of "Black Diamond."
-
As predicted, the Bucs have signed Warrick Dunn. They've also signed Antonio Bryant. I like the Dunn move to a certain extent, but Bryant is a turd. I anticipate this working out about as well as Gruden's previous infatuation with David Boston.
-
I'd say no. I think either the Raiders or Jets will grab him, if the rumored Dallas/Miami trade doesn't end up happening.

Don't Open Until January 2009

We cannot and should not ban Marvin. He is part of the fabric of our community. Can you imagine TSM without him? I can't. I'm not even trying.

Per PFT (via SI.com) JaMarcus Russell is tipping the scales at about 300 pounds right now. We all know that Jared Lorenzon is referred to as The Hefty Lefty. I propose an effort to find Russell a nickname that will reflect his burgeoning waistline. How about The Louisiana Fatass?

The Lions signed Brian Kelly, who had been Tampa's best CB when healthy. But he's never healthy, so good luck with that.

Where have you guys been? It's been the talk of the board! Remember this juicy revelation:
-
Christ, I hate that Archuleta guy. He looks like he's about 12 and he's got this nauseating showbiz kid quality about him. I don't know that I'd swear the show off forever if he were to win, but I'd hate to see this thing turn into a long coronation for that gushy little douche.

This should not be allowed. People should have to live with the consequences of their actions. If they don't learn it here, where are they going to learn it? EDIT: That was in reference to the thread being deleted. Possibly applicable to that Michael Bolton picture, as well.
-
It is an act of cowardice to have a thread deleted just because it brings you shame. A real TSMer would relish the opportunity to make a reclamation project of his misguided thread.
-
What happened to the thread Dandy started? That looked like a hit.

I don't doubt that they've improved their situation financially. I just wonder how these two guys--both of whom have been major underachievers, Duckett in more places than one--are going to improve their production any at what was a glaring weak spot on an otherwise pretty good offense. And having already made this investment in free agency, I doubt that they'll draft a RB any earlier than late on the second day. I wonder where Alexander ends up. He's obviously no longer able to handle being an every-down back. What can he still do?
-
Yeah, he's done with Seattle. But were I a Seahawks fan, the combination of Duckett and Julius Jones in the backfield next year wouldn't exactly fill me with confidence.
-
They also signed Jerry Porter.
-
They just traded for Troy Williamson.

Already posted elsewhere, but here's a tribute to the soon-to-be departed Patrick Swayze: Swayze
-
The board really is in a time warp. Isn't this the way it looked a few years ago?
-
This situation has really touched me, so I made this:
-
Yeah, I knocked that one out of the park. Good job, Kinetic.

I have had my emotions toyed with here. In preparation for a night spent celebrating the life and career of Patrick Swayze, I purchased the following items: *Rented five (5) Patrick Swayze films, Dirty Dancing, Steel Dawn, Road House, Point Break, and Black Dog. *A gallon of ice cream. *A box of tissues. I don't know what I'm going to do with all this stuff now.
-
I had always hoped Patrick Swayze would one day get the chance to live like he was dying.

This was discussed on a previous page. I am not a member of any NFL front office, nor can I so much as manage a mock draft, but what I would do is sign a veteran QB on the cheap to back up Aaron Rodgers and then draft a guy with some upside on the 2nd day. The guys they have behind Rodgers now were fine when you knew that there was no way they were ever going to get on the field. But only having one layer of separation between Craig Nall and your starting QB spot is bad news.

Didn't Lemon sign with Jacksonville just a few days ago?

With the 52nd pick in the draft, the Buccaneers select Brandon Flowers, CB, Virginia Tech "Pro Football Weekly" has him ranked 2nd in CBs coming out of the draft..."Instincts, ball skills, and tackling ability are tailor-made for a cover-2 defense, where he could be an elite performer..."
