Socksquatch displays the kind of brevity and restraint that the rest of us could learn from.

Yes, the Colts and the Pats are right up there. San Diego gets bonus points for absolutely raping the Giants on the Eli Manning trade a few years ago.

Also: AJ Smith is one of the best GMs in the league. You can argue with the Brees-Rivers and Schottenheimer-Turner decisions, but in general this is one of the best managed franchises in the NFL. They probably draft better than anyone.

I couldn't agree with that more.

The Packers are the biggest threat for the Chargers, KOAB? What planet are you living on?

These fucking people upstairs are stomping on the floor and banging on drums like no one lives below them. I'm going to strangle one of these shaggy-haired cocksuckers and drown him in a pool of blood--his blood, that is. -

The reviewer for regional indie rock rag "Stomp and Stammer" thought the movie was an endorsement for abstinence-only sex education. He also opined that it would be better to abort a child than allow it to be raised by liberals. Any takers on either count?

My instinct is to say that all four home teams advance, but there's got to be an upset in there somewhere. The Giants beating Dallas seems most likely. The Jaguars beating The Greatest Team of All Time is the most desirable.

A surprisingly good season for the Bucs came to an end today with a depressingly bad performance at home. I can't be totally disappointed, though, because I think the team has set the foundation to be a contender in the next few years. They desperately need to get playmakers on offense, though, as Joey Galloway is not long for the league and pulled his typical big game disappearing act again today. There's obviously the quarterback situation, as well. I'll give this season a B+.

I still think Jacksonville is an interesting matchup for New England. Garrard would need to play a lot better than he did tonight, though.

As a matter of principle, I typically only watch major market East Coast teams during the regular season, so I'd not previously had the chance to see how washed up Shaun Alexander suddenly is. What happened to that guy?

That's remarkably similar to the "David Schwimmer is a Cunt" picture. Is it supposed to be? -
I'd like to think Jacksonville at least has a fighting chance against New England. What's the seven-day forecast looking like for the Boston area? Any monumental blizzards on the radar?

Socksquatch, your entire posting history is contained within this thread. Do you have any non-fart interests that you'd like to discuss?

Chances are that Ray Lewis isn't regarded as Ol' Stabby within the Ravens organization. He's been the face of the franchise more or less since its inception and he's considered a leader inside the locker room, so it's neither unreasonable nor unprecedented for upper management to solicit advice from him.

Take it to the Band folder, nerds. Virginia Tech really let all of those dead students down tonight. For shame, Hokies, for shame.

The instances where you wake up still drunk usually lead to the worst hangovers of all.

There you go. Thanks a lot, MFer. He has Dennis Dixon in his top 25. I don't know if I see him being a solid pro quarterback.
-
Kiper has Mike Hart rated better than McFadden? I don't see that at all.

Oh, man. I get to hear about this shit for the next seven months. Thanks, Hawaii.

Aficianados will recall that this was not Edwin's first trip to Jacksonville this season:
