I'll take this opportunity to point out that Leena and I have never really gotten to know one another. But she's friends with Czech and I'm friends with Czech, and if we just interacted a little I think we could probably grow to be mutal friends of Czech. Plus, she's got a nice ass. In fact, I find her attractive all over. Sweet girl. Don't know how she got such a bad reputation over here. I blame Al Keiper. You should ban him.

I grew up in a military family, as you may or may not know. My dad, who is recently retired, loved it and really wanted all of his aimless middle-class kids to go in. I almost did, but elected not to. My brother ended up joining the Army, and did a few years in Iraq. He survived, and can now afford to do adult things like buy his wife a car and own a dog. Whereas I can't even afford to buy myself a car and am openly mocked by every dog I see. So take that for what you will.

I saw Jimmy Fallon on Conan's show last night, and maaaaaan is his Late Night looking to be bad. Has anyone ever found Jimmy Fallon funny? The only thing I ever found amusing about the guy was when Tracy Morgan said he wanted to rough him up for coming out of character and smiling during "SNL" skits. Conan's Tonight Show should be just fine, and it'll be nice to have two decent options at that hour after years of horrible Jay Leno.

Flyboy turned 21 today. I mention this because it's also my brother's 21st birthday, and I had no idea that the two were the same age. It makes the sort of relationship that I had with Flyboy in 2002 feel a little creepier, as I certainly thought of my brother as being quite young at the time.

Well, you're basically left with Cena and Triple H as potential face champions for Orton at WM. As much as Cena has been the heroic voice of corporate America here recently, a Triple H program would just make more sense in the context of the whole McMahons v. Orton storyline as it's currently constituted. Of course, that leaves open the question of what Cena (or Edge, for that matter) is going to do at WM.

The Bucs definitely could end up drafting a QB early this year, and I think it would be as much because of external pressure as anything. What better way to show the fanbase that they're making a break from the Gruden years than by drafting and developing an early-round QB? Whether there will be a guy worth taking when they draft is a different question. Personally, I'd rather see them get some help on the D-Line or grab a WR in the first round.

In a move that probably signals the end of the Garcia era, Tampa resigned the incomparable Luke McCown. I've liked Luke whenever he's managed to get on the field the last few years, and startin Griese over him in the Atlanta game late last season was one of the things that really convinced me that Gruden needed to go. Here's to hoping that Griese gets shown the door, as well.

I think the problem is that there's really nowhere to go with the main event angle. If Shane turns at "No Way Out," then at least we know that the owner's out-of-shape 40-something son can't actually singlehandedly beat up the big heel stable, but then we're also stuck with Shane on TV and mucking up Legacy for the forseeable future. If he doesn't turn, then Legacy look like a bunch of pussies and Orton, who was red hot coming off of punting Vince in the head, would be another guy to have the legs cut out from beneath him by a stupid McMahon-centered angle. What I would like to see at "No Way Out" is for Orton to just beat the everloving shit out of Shane until Stephanie has to actually beg him to stop. And that'll lead to Orton fighting Vince's son-in-law at WM, where Triple H will successfully defend Vince's honor and the WWE way.

Yeah, "Junk," "Every Night" and of course "Maybe I'm Amazed" are all very good. This album is actually a pretty enjoyable late-night listen and could well be the highlight of McCartney's solo career.

Coupla things: To no one's surprise, Edgerrin James is already all but officially done in Arizona. I wouldn't be shocked if he's done playing football altogether, as he seems like the sort of guy who might price himself out of the market. I'd imagine that he'll be in a Shaun Alexander/Cedric Benson sort of situation, where he's waiting for a team to become desperate due to catastrophic injury. And even then, they'd be stupid to pay him. What he has left in the tank isn't going to justify his asking price. Also, T.J Houshmandzadeh wants to play for the Eagles. I think every free agent WR this decade has wanted to play for the Eagles. But then they never sign any of them, and by the end of the season their fans are attributing the team's downfall to a lack of viable options for McNabb in the passing game. So don't expect anything to come of this.

Maybe the most regrettable thing that Kamala did on his bender the other night was PM me a piece of fan fiction he wrote about Czech and me having an erotic encounter in a sauna. I won't post it here out of respect for him, but you'd better believe that it's all the rage at the secret board.

Having read Tim Moysey's manifesto, I can tell you in no uncertain terms that Venkman is not the most racist Canadian here. In fact, I think Treble wears a hood when he visits the board.

A few years ago, we had a problem in the Music folder where every thread, regardless of the topic, would devolve into an argument about Metallica. It was really annoying. So me and the other Music guys got together and decided to just be assholes to everyone and only talk about stuff no one's ever heard of. And now Corey Lazarus doesn't post up there anymore, so I guess it worked.

Odd that the talking heads on ESPN don't recognize Holmes's celebration as being LeBron's goofy "powder-in-the-air" thing. They're debating as to whether it was ketchup or hot sauce. Huh? I didn't really feel that bad officiating was as egregious in this game as it was in Pittsburgh's last SB, but I can see how others might feel that way. Pretty good game, though. The third quarter was just dreadful, but the 4th more than made up for it. Miles shy of last year's game, but a lot better than I expected.

I think I could go the rest of my life without hearing the two key songs from Let It Bleed ever again. Their Satanic Majesties Request is sort of tough to listen to all the way through. The second "Sing This All Together" just goes on and on. Between the Buttons is a nice little record. I was able to find it used years ago, so it was the first Stones album I ever bought. I'd say that and Aftermath are their two best pre-Beggar's Banquet albums.

I had a copy of Emotional Rescue on vinyl for awhile. It sucked. I do love the Stones, though. I once had a conversation with a very drunk person who told me that Mick Jagger took a lot of business classes in the 60s, and that their enduring success can be attributed to that. So there you go, aspiring musicians.

A little research reveals that time and probably some amount of brain damage have caused me to misremember the show. I do recall thinking that it was pretty weak at the time. On the other hand, Legends of the Hidden Temple lit my fire and then some. I used to watch the shit out of that. Almost every memory that I have from 1993 is somehow tied up with watching that show and eating Little Caesars pizza.
