I was just in that area for six months, was even in Daly City a couple times, and I never heard anyone say Flip. This came about because of a joke I was told (which wasn't very funny so I won't bother repeating it) involving Flips and Mocs, which are apparently native Hawaiians who are gangsta. It was a Moc who told me this, but I didn't understand his slang at all. They're pretty badass. Like fake Samoans, but close enough. Another thing people say in northern California which I've since heard other places is hella. Like "I'm hella fucked up." or "These chicken tenders are hella good." They say that enough there to make me notice it.

Steve Blackman's time with the hardcore title was good. I mention it because that was about the only time it was. So everybody else who had that, that was bad.
