Every day is Jingus Sucks Day! -
That's why I asked what the fuck was wrong with you. You were talking to me like I wasn't Milky or something.

I'd like to know how you find these donkey shows.
I'm not going to Mexico any time soon, but I'd like to know for future reference.

I'd never fuck any woman in the military. I disagree with it morally. A man on the other hand might be just taboo enough. If you had been on a tour of duty in 'Nam would you have raped a villager?
Sure would have. I'm pretty amoral, really, I only use morals as shorthand for preferences. Not that I'm not a nice guy, it's just a matter of philosophy. I'm genuinely nihilistic, not as a matter of convenience, but simply as a realist. I've often said that I would have loved being in Nam.
Hey, Czech should merge this thread and the other one that asks me questions. A nice, concise 'Dear Milky'.

It's actually Geoffrey, though. That's why Will called him "G".

I came six times.

Also, I was fucking horrible back then.Yeah, you were. Irony in the fact that Eminem hates techno, yet is from Detroit? Christ...

From the band Jonbenet Ramsey, DJ Downey Syndro:
Clearly your kindred spirit, Brody.

That's fine, as I much prefer Funkadelic anyway (Maggot Brain and all).
(Thank you, by the way, for actually looking into it.)

They meant the 50s, not the 1950s...
"Do yoooooou remember the 50s, when emperor Claudius di-ied?
The Apostle Paul, traveled to Greece, and..."

I think I've made a pretty convincing case to either allow P-Funk or get Sly Stone thrown out too... let's hurry up and decide before I get screwed out of more picks.

Season 4, Episode 8 - New Kid On the Block
-
Season 9, Episode 16 - Dumbbell Indemnity
I was going to draft this several rounds ago; I guess I somehow forgot. Good thing it's still here, then. This is a shit-hot episode for my favorite character, Moe, with solid Homer support.

I contend that Parliament-Funkadelic are indeed a rock band, as evidenced not only by their inclusion in the rock and roll hall of fame, but in the loose definition of rock music in the first place. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five didn't play instruments, neither did Aretha Franklin, nor was she in a band. P-Funk fit both of those criteria, and additionally are listed on allmusic as Psychedelic and Hard Rock.
Their umbrella genre is, if anything, Rhythm and Blues, which is a form of/prototypical rock music. Reggae isn't.
If anything, the pick of Sly and the Family Stone is what made me choose Parliament-Funkadelic. They're exactly the same genre.

2008 was a transition year for me. Every year since 2000 has sucked, and things started slowly working out in 2008. More like a prologue for when I kick the world's ass in 2009, though. That's a lot like my situation, but the difference is for me it's true.

You fuckin' faggot.

Well, when a child molester and a tennis pro love each other very much...

Well I could easily do more.
The first couple rounds were pretty solid all the way through for everyone. After that, about the only comics I'd definitely have taken given the chance were Mooney, Cross, Rollins and Kaufman. There's plenty of territory to cover... and to think when this draft started it was suggested that it would be hard to come up with 120 quality comics.

I appreciate their talent, but I'm not a particularly big fan. Not that I never listen to them, and "Good Vibrations" and "Sloop John B" are my favorite songs of theirs. I've got no problem with them.
Not many, really.
My dad has really great taste in music, he just quit listening to it because of his religious beliefs (not in a "music is sin" way, but he became disinterested). But the music he likes is a highlight reel of late 60s, early 70s rock.
I did go through a brief phase where I was into disco, and he didn't particularly enjoy that. I don't much care for disco anymore, although the Bee Gees are a good band. I actually feel very similar to them as I feel about the Beach Boys.
My mom was never very particular. She didn't hate much of anything. Her favorite bands were/are Uriah Heep, REO Speedwagon, George Thorogood and such. Inoffensive.
Neither of my parents are particularly musically opinionated.
