    General Help with Torrent

edonkey is dying but eMule, a newer client based on the same groundwork, is alive and well and you'll find almost anything on there. the good thing is that there are plenty of eMule boards around where you can easily request a reshare if a file is not available anymore. The newer eMule versions also work without servers if you want so it's a bit more secure (although there is no true privacy with P2P). atomsk already explained BitTorrent, I just want to recommend another client called uTorrent which doesn't need to be installed, is smaller and uses far less resources than other clients while still providing all the features you need. http://www.utorrent.com want to know more about BT? --> http://www.bittorrent.com/introduction.html and eMule? --> http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/general.cgi?l=1

    Civ 4

Civ IV is the best game in the series and one of the best games I've ever had the privilege to play. It runs fine on my Notebook (Centrino 1.73 GHz, 512 MB DDR, Radeon X600), although more RAM wouldn't hurt I guess. the new religion system and near-perfect AI kick my ass. Fantastic game, and incredibly polished with the new interface and all-around presentation, which were pretty much the main flaws of the series until now. Can't wait for some all-night LAN games with my friend who's addicted as well.

We've got an Xbox 360 Debug

I agree that most of the games don't look that much better yet, but PGR3, Gears of War or Oblivion would not be possible on the XBOX. Come on now...

Possible to convert vids to audio?

you didn't say what kind of video file it is, but if it's not too exotic you can do it with VirtualDubMod. open file--->streams--->stream list--->choose audio stream--->Demux

    Miyazaki interview

A great man, indeed. But hopefully some other animation directors will achieve international success soon, because he isn't getting younger and with Disney abandoning 2D animation the future for 2D feature films doesn't look so good. His films are miles ahead of every US 2D animation feature since...uh...Lion King, probably.

    What's wrong with my Internet?

start--->run...--->type 'cmd', hit enter type 'tracert <website address>', so if yahoo doesn't work you type 'tracert www.yahoo.com' and hit enter now the program will trace the route to the desired website. if it times out straight away then something is probably wrong on your end. try reinstalling your network/modem drivers and, if it still doesn't work, the tcp/ip protocol. if you don't know how to do any of this read up on google or find somebody who can. if the trace gets outside and through some routers, but times out somewhere along the way I'd call your ISP and try to figure out the problem with their help.

Favorite tune from a film soundtrack

Currently I love Goodnight Moon by Shivaree, the song playing over the credits of Kill Bill Vol. 2 But overall probably Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield, the song playing when Vincent Vega enters Mia Wallace's home in Pulp Fiction.
