Exactly. Now just admit I pinned you, 1-2-3, in the middle of the ring with the Box Office Bomb.
-
No. No you're most definitely not.

Yes. Dunno, duncare. Shamrock is BLAH in the ring. Dutchy Boy no likey da Church. I'm not sure on the whereabouts of O'Haire, but TNA has shown no interest in him...and yet they have D-Ray 3000, who is a third the worker O'Haire is...when O'Haire is limited to WWE Style. One shot deals, I believe. Unless the Elite Guard has been the same people each time. Either way, they'll be used merely as fodder for the Truth to overcome so he can get to Jarrett, and subsequently job.

... DK, Mike, and Sir Lazelot > Voice, Swigg, and that other guy.

You can dodge tomatoes well...but can you dodge THIS! **tosses a monkey, a wrench, and a monkeywrench at you**

I'm a bigger legend. You may now proceed to tossing my salad.

I like to play with my foreskin...

He also bitched about RoH breaking a deal they made with him that they would never run a Massachusetts show when NECW was. On 5/22, I believe that was the date, they did. NECW was in Framingham, RoH in Boston. About half of the usual sized NECW crowd showed. But I don't think Sheldon would stoop that low. He did get pissed about RoH breaking the deal, and I doubt he'd want more competition that features better wrestling than his shows, but he also seems to be extremely respectful towards the business, its workers, and its fans. I wouldn't put it past Danger Boy Alfredo or one of the other schmucks that run the NEWA/RIWA, though. They're known to play dirty pool.

Jeff Hardy = greatest wrestler of all-time.

War of the Wire was supposed to be held at some middle school in, I think, either Lowell or Boston, but was then moved to Framingham State College...which worked out wonderfully, because I routinely go to Framingham, a good 45-minute drive, to see my girlfriend and her family. We made it a date, since we usually go see New England Championship Wrestling together when they're in Framingham. Too bad War of the Wire sucked until the final three matches...

Yeha. Slow dialup, at that.

I still prefer to call it the Amityville Horror, if only because Chris Chetti's is STILL the sweetest version I've seen of it, especially when he did it to Roadkill.
-
Typical TNA: on their biggest show of the year, they have the title upheld.
-
For some reason I'm only getting audio on this.

Tuesday nights would be ideal if they decide to keep the weekly PPV. That way, they could lead easily into the PPV, and there isn't really anything else major on.

I want to go now. Woonsocket is, like, 15 minutes from my house. I just have to keep driving down King St. in Franklin through Bellingham and then through Blackstone. Just keep going straight and I'm in Woonsocket.

Kash Says He Won't Work Injured for TNA
Corey_Lazarus replied to TNABaddboi's topic in TNA Wrestling
And TNA has also developed a track record of pissing off its employees. So? Kash does have a point. There's open favoritism to Raven, Truth, Jarrett, AMW, and AJ Styles, while others that helped TNA grow from the beginning (Kash, Lynn, New Church) are treated as seemingly afterthoughts. I hope Kash comes back as soon as he's medically cleared, has a great program with Styles, and then finds a promotion he'll be properly treated in. -
Styles' Opponent for the Anniversary Show
Corey_Lazarus replied to TNABaddboi's topic in TNA Wrestling
I think both Waltman/Styles matches were around ***, actually. Very solid matches, and the only hinderance on Sean's part was due to just wear and tear that's been showing more and more since the neck injury in '96. See, I don't get TNA. If they wanted to bring in Hardy, why not make it a 2-show deal and have him be in some #1 contender's bout at the 2nd Anniversary show? Considering a bit of the card already are jsut rematches from earlier TNA events (Truth/Jarrett is a rematch of the biggest World title match in TNA history). It would really make more sense to advertise Lynn/Styles, considering that feud is what attracted HALF of TNA's current audience. I probably wouldn't have continued to watch TNA had it not been for how awesome that feud was (aside from the 3 or 4 ladder matches, and the final blowoff match being pretty lame...and Lynn being sidetracked and feuding with Siaki). -
The only thing Dutch has over Russo is that his booking usually makes more sense...unfortunately, it's also drawn out to death. When it comes to having an angle be a month and a half long and filled to the brink with plot twists and turns and crude humor with a few nonsensical bits versus having an angle be four months long with very few plot twists and players that are about as interesting as the fat waitress from Applebee's that mixed up your Chicken Steak with a T-Bone...Crash TV wins.

Styles' Opponent for the Anniversary Show
Corey_Lazarus replied to TNABaddboi's topic in TNA Wrestling
Juvi gave Lynn a stinger because the move was stiff-as-shit. I don't recall any other complaints about him injuring people. Oh, he works a little stiff? Get out of the ring. He hasn't caused any SERIOUS injuries, and when he breaks somebody's ribs because of a fucked up 450? Then you can call him somebody dangerous to work with. If they scrap D'Amore/Lynn, then the feud might never blowoff. So what do they do? Oh, I don't know. Bring in Red, since Styles/Red has always been at least entertaining with the spots they use? No, of course not. Red is a contracted TNA wrestler. It wouldn't make sense. -
I only took shots at JJ and Dutchy Boy because their booking sucked and made me not want to watch the show anymore (and I only did because of Styles and the Redshirts).
-
...what'd the you think the ending was? Doesn't the pilot say "we have survivors, send a helicopter" or something of that sort?
-
I think the deal is just for FSN to air Impact, and FSN affiliates. I think getting rid of Xplosion, save for a few key markets, is a great idea. Less money wasted when they're spending too much as-is (and have been since last year).
-
If you guys think that the TSM TNA folder needs a mod? You should have been with me and Mike at TotalNonStop, where every other post seemed to be directed at us personally since we were "TNA detractors" (even though we both only bashed JJ and Mantel for their terrible booking...oh, and we tried to convince everybody that Michael Shane wasn't X-Division).

I taped the shows, and watched them again, pausing at times to make sure I got the moves/spots right.
