I have beef with nobody. Anybody got anything against me?

This reminded me of one... Hayabusa II (Mr. Gannosuke) vs. H (Hayabusa/Eiji Ezaki) Sure, it was painfully obvious that Hayabusa II was different, but I saw a recap of the angle on one of the FMW DVDs I have (I think it's either on The Judgment or Flying Assassin: Hayabusa). The two gelled EXTREMELY well together, and got me into the little bit of puro I dig right now (junior work).

Dean Malenko as Ciclope. Seriously. It's one of my favorite moments in all of wrestling history, mainly because it was the most emotionally captivating angle in either of the Big 2 at the time. Sure, Austin/McMahon was still entertaining, but Malenko/Jericho had raw emotion to it. Notice the pop when Malenko unmasked? Worcester fans did me proud.

To be fair, I think Red is crap as a wrestler, but when he's with somebody that can go spot-spot-spot nearly as good as he can (shitty wrestler, AMAZING athlete), he can produce some damn fine matches. Hell, when he's with a good worker he can produce very, very good matches. To me, the greatest match in TNA so far was the 4-team X-Division tag match from about a year ago (Chris Sabin's debut match, actually), when Lynn and Red teamed up (I dubbed them F'N Amazing, but TNA called them the X-Division Dream Team...GHEY) to defeat Chris Sabin & Jonny Storm, Jason Cross & Shark Boy, and Elix Skipper & Christopher Daniels. The Tag title match the next week between F'N Amazing and XXX was also damn fine, and in my top 5 for TNA (just so you know, I ranked the 4-team match at ****1/2, and the Tag title match at ****, and ****1/4 is what I gave XXX/AMW in the cage). And the Styles Clash '03? All Kazarian's fault. He tucked his head in when he should have leaned back. Uhhhh...that's what they did. This was a rankings match. Since Red won it, he's #1 contender. And since Kazarian was the last man eliminated, he's #2. So this makes perfect sense. As to why Daniels, Shane, and Ki aren't ranked...Ki and Daniels are in the Tag division primarily now, as is Shane (assuming he doesn't leave the New Franchise). Besides...do you WANT "Michael Shane - X-Division champion" again? He was the worst one yet (worse than Siaki by far). They'd all be ranked higher if they still worked X-Division matches, but they haven't since Ultimate X2 (except for Shane, who challenged Sabin the next week). Well, Sabin's injured and can't wrestle. How else would they have earned it? There's two belts that have been vacated at the current moment (one of which, the Tag titles, that shouldn't have been), so having the X-Division title be vacant any longer would ruin it's credibility. I think it's the only belt in the company's short history that HASN'T been vacated at least once until recently.

I can also vouch for NECW being great. Seriously. If you go to www.wrestlingmark.com (which is run by a Masshole I met at an NECW show, oddly enough, and focuses on the New England indy scene), check out the poll that asks something along the lines of "which indy has the best chance at being the basis for a New England territory." NECW (New England Championship Wrestling) is in the lead by FAR. It's basic wrestling with basic storylines, but the main events are almost ALWAYS good. The last show in Framingham featured one *** bout between Maverick Wild and Antonio Thomas for Maverick's NECW Heavyweight title, and a ***1/2 bout between Sabotage (DC Dillinger and Eddie Edwards, the latter of which is going to be a big name on the indies one day) and Adrenaline (Brian Fury and Chris Venom) for Sabotage's NECW Tag Team titles. Y'all should come to the May 15th show, which I think also MIGHT have an interview with Johnny Valiant, but that could be an event in and of itself later in May. Quincy, eh? Bridgewater? Leominster? I think those are kinda far from Franklin (which, to give you an idea, is about 10 minutes from Woonsocket, if that, using backroads), and I don't get my license until around April 20th...

I went Abyss/Truth. The 6-man, I felt, was very boring, and the whole booking of it was confusing. Sure, I got why Kazarian and Williams teamed up, and why Kazarian turned on Williams...but the whole booking of the match just made it come off as something involving workers with less talent than all of those in there. Williams is nothing amazingly special in the ring, at least his TNA work, and the same can be said for Kazarian and Skipper. Red is just coming back off of a nearly year-long injury (and, amazingly, he moves just as good as he did pre-injury; no pun intended), and Jerry Lynn was the only one trying to hold the match together. As for Nosawa...fuck Nosawa. When he starts doing more than kicks, then maybe I'll dig him. Abyss/Truth had workrate (Abyss has GREAT workrate, regardless of his size, and Truth is no slouch either), heat (the crowd was DIGGIN' the match), and a good finish that put both men over and made the angle of "who will face Jeff Jarrett in the steel cage?" all that much more important. For the record, I gave Abyss/Truth ***, and I gave the 6-man **3/4.

Well, it's actually great to know that so many people like the Lazarush. Makes it known that what I do for three hours every Thursday afternoon is worth it. Anyways, I sent it to Goodear, since my account only allows me to submit my articles for approval. It should be up shortly (or whenever Goodear decides to put it up).

Working on it as I type this. Currently reviewing the Diamond/Siaki vs. Kash/??? (and it definitely WASN'T Brian Lee) match. I hope I get feedback for this one, since the only people that usually give me feedback are the posters from TotalNonStop that completely agree with me (all two of them).

I take minor offense to this. No, it's not because the song is bad, because the entire album is amazing, but that's the point: THE ENTIRE ALBUM IS AMAZING. I don't like to think of Scenes From A Memory as a collection of songs rather than one huge song with a collection of parts. ...besides, "Finally Free" is better...

One thing's for sure: AJ Styles is gonna kick some fucking ass.

...you guys wanna get high? OR... Unable to restrain himself any longer, Ric Flair showed the world his puffer fish impression while Triple H and Randy Orton tried to decide which one wore the pants in the relationship.

NWATNA tell Styles to distance himself from ROH

Re: saying RoH is run by a pedo It WAS. It IS NOT now. As soon as RoH makes it clear Rob's not with them, I doubt anybody will care about Rob. Gary Glitter was a pedo, and that doesn't stop people from liking the song "Rock N' Roll," does it? -
UYI, you pussy-ass bitch. **walks over around kkk's bulbous ass to his face, and slaps him across the back of the head**

"To Live Is To Die" and "Fade To Black" are kinda awkward to listen to when you think about Cliff... As for recent ones, well, aside from the aforementioned NIN cover by the Man in Black...nada.

Sounds like a Northern Lights Bomb. Did it resemble a Michinoku Driver II, only to his side?

<--NBT mark. Palumbo came into his own, O'Haire was ruling ass (SWANTON FROM THE BOTTOM ROPE, GUYS, C'MON!), Stasiak actually didn't completely suck for a bit (I think his match with Booker T at Great American Bash is an underrated **1/2 affair), Jindrak was decent enough, and Mike Sanders was GOD on the stick. Anyways, I'd suggest getting as many unknown indy guys as needed. Dr. Heresy is an awesome mic worker and is insanely charismatic, which makes up for his decent ring abilities, and there are a few indy tag teams that could be brought in to thicken both the roster and the tag division.

I hope Punk will be sitting at home in a few years, remembering when he worked for TNA, and then he'll look over at the TV and see his image on it, be it for WWE or RoH (should they get a TV deal eventually, although highly doubtful that they EVER will), and then he'll remember that he's getting more exposure and money than most people on the TNA roster because he's on FREE TV...yeah. Nah, Punk will be back in TNA one day. If Sabu, who burned bridges twice, can return, then so can Punk. Wasn't Teddy the one that basically said "let's go outside"?

I'm not talking about jingles. I'm talking about ACTUAL songs featured in commercials. Of course, most of us remember the use of "You Really Got Me" by The Kinks for a car commercial (when they used dolls in a toy car, which was actually a nice commercial), and the various classic rock tunes used in SUV and truck commercials. But here's an obscure one: In the commercial for the new Pop-Tarts, the French toast ones, Killswitch Engage's "The Element Of One" is played for a second at the end. Just as the kid walks out of the diner, he turns to the truckers that were making fun of him for ordering French toast on the go (which proceeded to just be the new Pop-Tarts), and the line of the song that goes "THIS IS FOR YOU!" is played. Well, at least I think it is. I'm not sure if my girlfriend's mother just happened to click on a link on the computer, or something, that played that clip of the song, but that's what I heard while watching the commercial. Pretty bitching, if you ask me.

Yes, only now you're competing with people's personal lives. Sorry, but my Saturday mornings are already owned by TMNT and another wrestling promotion: the Muscle League. Friday afternoon is when most that would watch the show are either preparing for work or are preparing to go out for the night (be it a date or a movie or just hanging out with friends). Why not have a late, LATE night Saturday timeslot? The rating would probably be the same, if not higher, because then people would be home, more likely. Most stay up late on Saturday nights and sleep in on Sunday mornings. Yes, yes he has been. I'm sorry that he's injured, because the guy really is a great wrestler in the making. He has the in-ring charisma few have and most aspire for (honestly, he can't talk, but he has this "feeling" to him when in the ring, much like Rob Van Dam, that makes your average fan want to watch him), and has the talent that is just waiting to be nurtured into something more. Honestly, when Teddy Hart has more heat in the overall wrestling world than CM Punk, I'd think it's time to just let them brawl it out by themselves, and come to a solid conclusion. While I think Punk was dumb in instigating a fight against both a trained wrestler and a trained boxer, I also feel that some bitches need slapping (ie. Hart). Julio being left out doesn't bother me, as I'm not a big fan of his (although he has a GREAT look now as a pseudo-goth/metalhead guy, and I'm LOVIN' the Strapping Young Lad shirts), but to get rid of Punk over one incident with a guy that isn't even on your full-time roster? Bullshit. Meh, fluff. MARUFUJI AND KENTA. MAKE IT HAPPEN, TNA. MAKE. IT. HAPPEN.

Billy Joel - "Piano Man" Honestly. I want to get a metal band together and TRY to make this nearly as great as it is. We'd fail horribly, but this song is AMAZING.
