    TSM Mad Libs!

Today in the Music folder, Agent started the one and only "Songs To Shit To" thread. NoCalMike immediately caused a controversy by exclaiming racism. Choken called NoCalMike a queefmunch. Zack chimed in with BITCHSLAPPED~! adding anger to the topic. DrTom, warned Choken that he was flamebaiting and was being suspended. Banky felt Choken was suspended unfairly and started a poll to rape Choken. CanadianChick, moved the topic to Love, Sex, and Dating saying that was the delicious folder. CanadianChick also warned that she didn’t want 103 topics started on the subject, and re-opened the thread and moved it to TSM Classics.

6th grader suspended for bring swimsuit SI

Kid these days...they just don't know how to properly get away with shit. In sixth grade, I let this kid Pete have a copy of Cheri I took from my dad's closet. I even brought it INTO SCHOOL to give to him, and there were teachers walking by. Very discrete, though, as our lockers were next to each other. Handed it off to him in between classes, and he put it in his bag. I didn't get caught for a hardcore porn mag. This kid gets caught with a swimsuit mag. Jesus fucking Christ, man. HIDE IT BETTER.

    Student arrested for making bomb...

Now, if he just made it a bomb using his mom's vibrator and some chickenwire, then maybe I'd put him on some level near MacGyver. Until then, he is still just a schmuck that needs to watch more Richard Dean Anderson shows.

Black Label Society releasing new material

I dunno. I love BLS and all, but I love them more for the fact that Zakk can write nice and catchy riffs while being deadly with his solo's. BLS doesn't strike me as an acoustic band (even if the acoustic songs were the best tunes off of the first two BLS releases)*. I'll pick it up, naturally, but I'm hoping that at least some of them are electric and heavy. *= Sonic Brew's "Another Spoke In The Wheel" is quite a good song, and Stronger Than Death's "Just Killing Time" is so beautifully depressing.

I'll commend Jarrett on putting over Chris Harris. That match was acceptable for what it was (a match between an average worker and a worker that makes Test look great, and the former means Chris Harris {perhaps the only TNA talent I hold more digust for than Jeff Jarrett is both members of America's Most Wanted}), and Harris was made to look like he COULD have won. I don't agree with the booking (as I prefer clean finishes over dirty ones, and Harris could have been put over with Jarrett winning cleanly as well, which also would have put BOTH men over), but it wasn't too bad a match. Jarrett when on the mic in short, brief promo's isn't bad at all. But when he starts stretching his interviews out is when he gets boring, and he usually does the 20-minute promo these days (which I've already had enough of from usually very good mic workers like The Rock and Steve Austin, so having a decent mic worker like Jeff Jarrett try to do it is bad). Not to mention the fact that logic seems to have been eliminated for much of the past 5 or 6 months of TNA (as people were teaming that had feuded relentlessly before, and I don't like the "Memphis style" of booking where the heels beg off and the faces are Superman, which TNA has done since Dutch took the book), and Jarrett acting like he is goes against what his face character stood for (I honestly believe that the best heels are the ones that, when even as faces, have the same beliefs and morals; notice how Raven and The Rock, two of the best heels of our era, didn't change their belief structure as faces). Match-wise, I think Jarrett relies a little too much on in-crowd brawling, which he is awful at. In-crowd brawling only works best when both men bump like mad in the audience, and Jarrett refuses to drop down past a knee when brawling in the crowd. It also doesn't help when Jarrett shows a complete lack of psychology by mostly doing punches and then locking on a Figure-4 (say what you will, but even the X-Division spotfest guys use psychology in their movesets, as many of the moves affect the head and neck and back, and many of the finishers affect the head and neck and back).

What are you listening to right now?

Fozzy - "To Kill A Stranger" I really cannot wait until their third album comes out this summer. It's supposed to be all originals, and the originals off of Happenstance were the best tunes on there (since, let's face it, Chris is NO Bruce Dickinson, and NO Rob Halford).

The problem with Jarrett is that he's a painfully AVERAGE worker, just a notch above Billy Gunn honestly (in my book, anyways), that is promoting himself as the best in the company simply because daddy started it. Jarrett has all of the heel stuff down, but he's so vanilla that I can barely stand watching him unless his opponent is a significantly better worker.

Aliens Terminator 2 RoboCop 2 X2: X-Men United Citizen Toxie: Toxic Avenger IV Bride Of Chucky Evil Dead II Army Of Darkness Ghostbusters 2 (okay, not as good as the original, but definitely a good sequel) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret Of The Ooze (see above)

    OAO America's X-Cup

GO, TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, GO! Seriously. These have been happening WAY too frequently lately. TNA should make an angle out of it. Opening interview with Team NWA by Scott Hudson after the recap stuff highlighted JEFF JARRETT AND DON CALLIS, NEITHER OF WHICH HAVE ANY-FUCKING-THING TO DO WITH TONIGHT'S SHOW. Fuck you, JJJ.

Who'd the crowd chant 'over-rated' at?

I seem to forget Truth's run as the WWF Champion in 2001... The year was 2002. TNA had its first breakout star in Ron "The Truth" Killings, the former K-Krush and K-Kwik that became quite an amazingly over heel. He had mic skills, a good look, was a tremendous athlete, had charisma out the ass, and was solid in the ring. He was a proven heel, getting heat for nearly everything he did. So what does TNA do? They make him seem like a second-fiddle to Jeff Jarrett, turn face and then lose the belt to Jarrett. TNA dropped the ball BIG TIME with The Truth.

Coulda sworn I mentioned something about not seeing in Cross what everybody else seems to. My thoughts on Cross are that he's your average cruiserweight doing your average cruiserweight things. Aside from the Crossfire, he has nothing to set him apart from anybody else.

    Official Ozzfest lineup announced......

No. Glad you said it. Now ChokenOne doesn't really have much use for this thread Then I guess you'll be pleased to know that following bands on the OzzFest 2004 lineup aren't "scream metal": Ozzy Osbourne Judas Priest Dimmu Borgir Black Label Society Lamb Of God Lacuna Coil Unearth That's okay, neither does anybody else here. Hmmm... One day after me and my girlfriend's one-year (assuming we last that long)...great anniversary present, eh?

I like Northcutt because he has shown visible improvement in the ring. Seriously, once they ditched the other Redshirt (Ryan Willis?) and replaced him with Legend, Northcutt's work really started to pick up. I want to see him in a singles match to see if he should remain a tag-only worker (ie. not so good that he could go one-on-one, but the tag matches hide his weaknesses) or not. As-is, Northcutt is definitely one of my favorites in TNA. Hell, I'll make a list of my 10 favorite TNA workers at the moment.
