Gimme proof it's Banks, and then I'm SO there to tell him to get rid of Mantel.

See, with the last three months of 2003 being what I'd call "pure fucking shit" in terms of product quality, last night's show was a blast for me. I have to postpone my review until tomorrow afternoon, as I'll barely have time to get the first half of the show done (since I'll just sum up the first HALF HOUR of promo's with a paragraph, if that). I have to finish a short film for Creative, and then have a few bits of homework for English to finish up, so I'll be cutting it close anyways (not to mention I need to start up an RP for an e-fed I'm in, HiC). So yeah. It won't be as good as the Dames Diatribe, but it'll probably be a lot more cynical and filled with more sophomoric humor.

Aside from the size of its fanbase, star power, and production values, RoH has WWE smoked.

My mom yelled at me for screaming at the TV after Ultimate X2. Only instead of going "what the FUCK" like I did every other time Shane retained, it was a big "HAIL SABIN!" Yeah, that's how seriously I take wrestling. If anybody has any drugs to prescribe to help this, they're more than welcome. Decent show. The fact that the FIRST MATCH didn't start until around 8:25 is BULLSHIT, but I felt Redshirts/Abyss vs. AMW/Styles was a solid, **1/2 encounter. I was popping for it. Hell, I was even popping for Vaughn/Kash, if only because Kash is that good a heel. UX2 was, I feel, ***1/2-****, as not a single spot was blown. Not ONE. Sabin kicking Shane off of the scaffolding through the table was MINT, and his Enziguri to LowKi off of Daniels' back was also T3H W1N~! It's gonna be fun trying to recap that tomorrow. The rest of the show I couldn't care for, though. Especially Raven/Sandman vs. Punk/Dinero. I don't know why, but Dinero I don't care for, and Sandman...well, I know why I hate Sandman: he sucks in the ring, sucks on the mic, and has no idea how to get a crowd filled with anything but the ECW faithful behind him without using weapons. The fact that 2 years ago Sandman was in top physical condition, and now he's just another piece of trailer trash with tattoos, is sad, man. Just sad. And, once again, Jarrett proves why he shouldn't be fucking on TV, by being THE MOST BORING PIECE OF SHIT IN TNA (not named Michael Shane, of course).

I will do a recap/PBP tomorrow afternoon. Watch the show again, and do PBP while watching it. Format, HTML, upload to my site, bada-BOOM.

Comix Zone for Genesis, and True Lies for SNES. I wish my SNES still worked, because I loved playing True Lies.

Very powerful evil wizard + simple-minded killing machines = brutal legion of army at wizard's command. It's not like the Orcs are intelligent in their means of killing. Big, sharp objects can be wielded even by retarded apes.

Ya know, JAxl, I can imagine Jerry Lawler saying that for them if this were a WWE angle...
-
Heh, this reminds me of when Steve and Scott were a team on WCW Worldwide, and the continuing angle was that they lost match after match due to the Armstrong Curse (which, in reality, is that the boys are very good workers with poor charisma, while BG is the exact opposite). Man, WCW Worldwide might have featured nothing but jobber matches, but I was into it. When The Armstrongs won their first match, I actually popped big. Tenay was all like "THEY BROKE THE CURSE, THEY BROKE THE CURSE!" Man, Mike Tenay sure does have a way for making each match seem special. Anyways, uhhh...Brad, eh? Um, sure. GO JOE!

Ruin our fun, why don'tcha?

I took a nap, smoked a BUTT, and surfed the net.

It's pleasing because it shows that a weak product gets weak ratings.

They had Jonah do one match. And it was pretty damn good, considering how green he was at the time (and probably still is). TE3 produced the best crop, as I think most of them are still working at getting into the business (with Matt and John being, apparently, the best TE winners yet, and Jonah representing MASS~! to the fullest extent). I've never watched Survivor, so I have no idea who this guy is.

I've been contemplating doing PBP for tonight's show, as I now have a tape recorder to talk into so I don't have to just type while I watch out of the corner of my eye. Anybody want it, or no?

The One And Only 24 Season 3 Thread
Corey_Lazarus replied to Spicy McHaggis's topic in Television & Film
Am I the only one that just doesn't care for this season? -
Wing Commander 4. I dug the shit out of Wing Commander 3, but never beat it due to the fact that it takes forever to just finish the first disc, but Wing Commander 4 just...just sucked. The controls were completely different from Wing Commander 3, so that through me off, and then I couldn't get a single thing working right for Wing Commander 4, so I tried to sell it...

Well, you're partially right. The battle of Helm's Deep really did happen, but the rest is bullshit.

WWE Smackdown Rating Drops Big On New Years
Corey_Lazarus replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Nah. They need to resurrect Al Wilson and have him feud with Big Show over who is the true US Champion. -
Yeah. He wasn't too bad at all before the concussion, and I have fond memories of Vampiro/Crowbar from a Nitro or two before Halloween Havoc 2000.

Glad I slept from 7:30-10:15 then...

I'm guessing Jimmy "Akio" Yang and Sakoda.
