I always forget who the 5th person is on Team Bischoff. Scott Steiner, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Christian, and...? -
Oh, I definitely DO think Lynn's overrated, but I don't think he's half as bad as some people here have made him out to be.
-
I'm guessing "You can't see me" means that he's above your league, ie. "I'm so far ahead of you that you can't even see me."
-
Agreed. But I don't think any of you can deny that he DOES make a match watchable, regardless of who his opponent is. He just has this damn good sense of ring psychology (nowhere near Raven's, but very good nonetheless) that makes most people take notice of his matches. And I think he's toned down his moveset over the years. I remember when he'd go balls out in ECW, regardless of the opponent. 'Ranas, planchas, tilt-a-whirl headscissors, etc. Now? Mostly punch/kick with some powerbombs and a TKO.

So yeah. Post here. I'm actually excited for tonight's show...

I'm not a big fan of any of these movies, so I refuse to vote.

Not familiar with AC/DC, are we?

In which case, TNA has him by the balls, and it's a shitty move to tell him to accept almost HALF of what he used to make when he deserves at least 50% more. I'm not talking pay him the same amount as, say, a Raven or an AJ Styles, but damn near close, since he was around since the beginning. TNA has the money thanks to Panda. They have the money to bring in Luger and Sting. Why not spend the money on somebody that WON'T pull a shitload of political powerplays, that WON'T think twice about putting somebody over for the good of the company, and that WILL put on a good match? I'm also left wondering why D'Lo is gone.

I actually liked SmackDown this past week. Raw as well. A lot, actually. They both advanced angles, nothing was too bad, and there were quite a few matches.

Thy True Metal Messiah doth not needeth hair.

Well, in between commercials for things nobody ever buys and the "wacky" antics of the morning show crew, of course.

Devin Townsend is proof that there is a God, and that He loves us.

The basic song structures are very similar, I'll give you that, as well as the overall layout of the album (with the second-longest song being the title of the album, and the second track, with a "power ballad"-like song on track 4, and an instrumental as track 7 or 8). But can you honestly tell me that "Blackened" and "Dyers Eve" sound like "Escape" and "Damage, Inc."? Those three albums were all produced within 3 years of each other, and the band didn't grow WAY too much, but there was enough growth to make each one different. And, like I said, Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets are the only 2 pre-ReLoad albums that sound alike to the degree where you go "b-sides?" to yourself.* *Which is funny, because ReLoad WAS mostly songs not used on Load.

Radio? What's that?

Oh, Jesus H Fucking Christ, guys! PAY THE MAN WHAT HE WAS ORIGINALLY MAKING! He was only THE MVP of TNA for the first 6 months, and elevated AJ Styles from average-yet-talented mid-carder to superstar (for TNA) status. This is a slap to the fucking face of Lynn, and I wouldn't be surprised if he said "fuck it" and just worked other indies, RoH, and toured Japan.
-
Well, I'm off. So if any TSM'ers are gonna be there, look for the kid with the leather jacket and Shadows Fall hoodie.
-
So yeah...my dad showed me an ad from last Friday's paper for New England Championship Wrestling's show tonight in Framingham, MA. The show's title is "Submission: Impossible." The advertised card is... Maverick Wild {c} vs. "Brutal" Bob Evans in an Ultimate Submission match for the NECW Heavyweight championship "MoFo" Steve Bradley vs. "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion Sabotage {c} vs. Adrenaline for the NECW Tag Team championship and Mercedes Martinez vs. Nikki Roxx. I'm going regardless...but, for you other NE indy fans, is NECW any good, or should I expect a card the quality that NEWA/RIWA would put out?
-
I dunno...my collection features Slayer, Everclear, God Lives Underwater, Michael Jackson, and Stream (which was a DMB wannabe band that my friend Jon D'Ambrisi fronted).
-
I coulda sworn "Fishfuck" was 1:12 or something...maybe the album version is, because I think it's a little over a minute on We Kill Everything.
-
THUNDER... ...IN... ...PARADISE! I know this falls under "TV/movies," but that deserves a mention of its own.
-
So I should expect some possible *** fun matches? Cool. Anybody from TSMville gonna go?
-
Honestly, I'm in preference of epic songs (which may help lend another reason why I love Shadows Fall, as many of their songs have an "epic" feel to them), but sometimes, dammit...you just need some short, angry, fast, or hilarious songs.
-
^Agreed. My friend Crawford, who is the guitarist of an awesome local death band known as Inheritance, said "if Shadows Fall got an album in the top 100, then they sold out, simply because success means you sold out." And yes, I do wish his band gets very successful, and plays shows in other places besides at a friend's party or local bars/clubs/whatever. Why? Because then I can use his own philosophy against him.

To the WICKED McULTRA FUCKING HARDCORE fans of any band, hearing the members piss on about how much they hate their fans sometimes is like an ECW fan being picked on by the Dudley Boyz back in the day: an honor.
