Yes he will. Tonight's planted the seeds for the Raven/Punk TNA feud. Instead of it being based on Raven's history of drug abuse and Punk's entire sXe thing, it's going to be based on something a little more realistic and compelling: Raven leaving Punk behind. I wasn't impressed with Oulette tonight. Then again, it was a battle royale, and everybody seemed to be at half-speed (I fucking hate battle royale's where it's over-the-top elimination only, because it seems only WWE can book them so they're entertaining), but no-selling moves that have put almost every other X-Division worker away? Bad idea. No-selling at all? Bad idea. And X no-sold nearly every move. But his double-underhook double-leg piledriver (Package Piledriver, as Tenay called it) was very, VERY cool. Too bad I'm pretty sure I invented it 5 years ago when wrestling with a couple buddies.

FUCKERS!!!! FUCKERS, FUCKERS, FUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, if that were true, then why did Alien and Aliens do better financially and critically than the final two sequels? Silly me for wanting a solid (if not great) story to accompany the action and death...
-
Like I said, TNA just books the wrestlers it's hard to cheer for as faces and wrestlers it's easy to cheer for as heels, with the obvious exceptions of Michael Shane, 3 Live Kru, Raven, and Jeff Jarrett.
-
Another reason is because Zbysko was a terrible commentator...
-
What IS the reason for the SD 5v5 match?
-
Exactly. The problem TNA has is that the best wrestlers, for the most part, are booked as heels. Thus, they get cheered for being great, and the bad wrestlers that are booked as faces are boo'd because for being shit.

Actually, cran, I think Comix Zone should be a blend of animation and live action. When Sketch is not in the book, it's live action. When he is, animation.

The One And Only 24 Season 3 Thread
Corey_Lazarus replied to Spicy McHaggis's topic in Television & Film
You're sad about that? I think Joe was on last night anyways to make up for it. But yeah. I find Season 2 to be better than Season 1, because I just felt the drama was THERE the whole time. Season 1 had too much build-up, and the plot seemed to change left and right. Season 2 had the same plot continuing, with enough subplots to fuck with your head. I don't see how Season 3 can top Season 2, but I said that about Season 2 in regards to Season 1. Here's to a great season. -
I'd like to see a movie based on Comix Zone, personally. I love(d) that game.

I just like Raymond's use of double-bass during the most tame of Factory songs.

Question about the "high-flying" style
Corey_Lazarus replied to Silence's topic in General Wrestling
It's just too bad that the Maximo brothers suck... -
Okay...off-topic, but needs to be said... Al, I commend you on your Sam Hain picture in your sig. The RGB episodes he was a part of were insanely great (then again, so were most RGB episodes).

And then will star in an off-broadway play that will get awful reviews.

So, lemme get this straight... The show that has wrestlers pushed over non-wrestlers, Raw, does better buyrates and ratings than the show that has non-wrestlers pushed over wrestlers, SmackDown? ...wow, color me surprised...

Yesterday, in souther Massachusetts, it was in the mid 70's. Now, it's probably mid-40's. Then again, it's New England, and we have the weirdest fucking weather on Earth...

And it's Ice-T, and he's fucking cool, so we shouldn't be complaining. Ah yes, Agent, I remember that one. That stupid old bitch that wore the oven mits with the magnets taped to them? Hilarious. Remember the one with the "firewalk"? That lady said something in Seminole, and then said it meant nothing, and Penn went "way to completely disrespect an entire nation of people, asshole."

And in true "we want to be Alice In Chains" fashion, Sully dies of a heroin OD. In bad taste? Yep. Probably truthful? Yep. Wow...a band that wants to be Lacuna Coil so bad has their songwriter split...and? Call me when Fred decides that Lethal, Sam, and John aren't needed, and then kills himself because his solo effort doesn't crack the Top 200.

And that particular episode was great, because they had a fake waiter bring a "water menu" (like a wine menu) to certain customers at a fancy LA restaurant, and explained each water's (fake) origin and stuff. Then, he went out back and filled the bottles with the fake labels (of the different companies the water was claimed to be the product of) with tap water from the same hose. It was great.

Well, Celtic, how many other guitarists can you think of in the past 20 years that innovated an entirely different element of playing that didn't involve technology, but instead actual abilities? Zakk turned pinch harmonics into a science, just like Eddie Van Halen turned two-finger tapping into a science. Only, ya know, Zakk's 100x better at everything than Eddie.

I get to interview Joe Bob Briggs.

Ask him which was better: Zombie Chronicles or Redneck Zombies. And then watch is face cringe when both movies are mentioned. -
Question about the "high-flying" style

Spotmonkey = SATs High-Flyer = Kid Kash Luchadore = Rey Mysterio Jr. (but really ANY Mexican wrestler) -
And your complaining about something that isn't worth a complaint about (especially since it was just a sidetrack, and the entire folder didn't stray from the original topic, which is what the rule SAYS) doesn't help the conversation move along either. And I agree. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DAANNNNNNNEEEEEE... Now, to satisfy One Trick, I'll go back to the topic raised, or at least one of. Spanky/London are not only better singles workers than AMW, but are also a better tag team. A Spanky/London vs. WGTT feud would produce nothing but quality matches that blend the old-school tag formula (AKA Ricky Morton Formula) and the new-school styles of wrestling. Hell, Spanky/London could probably pull a good match out of almost any tag team on the SmackDown roster (aside from anything involving Nathan Jones, of course), while AMW have trouble having good matches with anybody but XXX and Simon/Swinger. Now, as for the Heel Section...OTP, did you not read where Jingus said that the Heel Section has existed in the Tennessee wrestling scene since pre-Attitude? Wrestling has always had its fans that preferred the heels, just as movies have always had the fans that preferred the villains. Honestly, how many people weren't cheering for Darth Vader? And the Heel Section also cheers for certain faces. Raven, Lynn, Brown, etc. Anybody that can get over without an angle and based on talent and charisma alone. So stop complaining because the Heel Section actually added life to the TNA Asylum (and that's as true a statement as I can make in regards to the Heel Section).
