I marked heavy for Malice and Monty Brown. Brown, for somebody as green as he is, was actually very good. Solid look, solid in the ring, solid mic work, and a good amount of charisma. Everything about Brown, to me anyways, screamed "possible superstar." Why WAS he let go, anyways?

I think I might move to Chicago. They don't like shitty music, it seems.
-
Wasn't "Immortally Insane" on the Heavy Metal 2000 soundtrack?
-
Anothere thing will prevent Daniels/Shane from being good... The fact that Shane sucks.
-
Two Shadows Fall instrumentals... "Lead Me Home" from Somber Eyes To The Sky, and "Casting Shade" from The Art Of Balance.

Most death/black metal bands ARE horrible live. Morbid Angel is HORRENDOUS live. The stage show is boring (just the band members standing still while playing their generic death metal riffs), and they...well...they fucking suck. I saw them open for Pantera/Slayer, and they did NOTHING. If I'm seeing a band live, they better do something more than just stand there. At least move the fuck around.

This is DEFINITELY mainstream acceptable. Soil, Static-X, Motograter, Seether, Finger Eleven, and post-Demanufacture Fear Factory are all very radio friendly. ..."Destroyer Of Senses"...**cries** I'll skip this one. Nothing looks good on it. Looks like another shitty excuse for some nu-metal bands. I think the last movie soundtrack that I honestly liked was for Bride Of Chucky. Slayer, Type O Negative, Motörhead, White Zombie, Judas Priest...what's not to love?

Satanico, evenflow, Zack, Nevermortal, Downhome, and the other b-movie/horror afficianado's...lend me your ears for these brief moments. I say we conspire. Not against a government, not against an agency, but against a single man. A man that is responsible for one of the biggest upsets in horror film history. A man responsible for some of the flat-out biggest rip-off scenes in cinematic history. A man that gives horror directors a bad name. This man is no other than Paul Anderson. Anderson's only acceptable work has been Event Horizon, and even that has its own fair share of critics that would say the movie is terrible. And now, he is remaking a film that set standards for exploitation cinema, many of which have still yet to be broken. He is remaking a film that will be dumbed down, be commercialized, and will no longer be as prestigious as it once was. And that films is Zombie. Friends, Horror fans, cine-men...lend me your arms. For in this war, there can only be one outcome. And that outcome is our victory. So bang the drums, load your guns, and shine your swords, gentlemen. The war is at hand. But what side are you on?

Well, considering it also made perfect sense in the series, and has a nice little psychological aspect to it, as well as a very, VERY solid script.
-
Exactly. 28 Days Later was a serious film, an homage to Romero's work (specifically The Crazies and Day Of The Dead). Freddy vs. Jason was the histories of Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees thrown together, tripping on acid, and with kung-fu.

Oh, might I also add that my friends' band, Sound Like The Hu-Man, is pretty good. The tracks on the site are the unpolished ones, and the tracks on the actual CD are only slightly more polished (they recorded the CD in one setting, pretty much).
-
Oh, I'm not saying I don't like The Haunted, far from it. I enjoy everything I've heard from them, immensely. It's just that I always think I'm listening to some unreleased Slayer songs until the vocals come in.
-
Does Peter sound like Tom Araya? Since, you know, the rest of the band sounds like Slayer, the vocalist might as well..

Past Life Name: Arthur Packman (me and Jen were the same person?!) Past Life City: Orlando Past Life Job: Soldier Mechanic Who Did Repairs Past Life Death: Bitten to death by fire ants

**gives you a Plop Cookie** ((A Plop Cookie is a cookie made with peanut butter and chocolate and, I believe, oatmeal. The resutling blob looks like somebody had diarhea, but tastes great.))
-
Acid Bath, both thanks to Agent's pimping of them like I pimp Shadows Fall, and my girlfriend's love for them.
-
Not even "Fleshold" or "Destroyer Of Senses"? Both of those are extremely bland tracks. The chorus is about the only part of "Fleshold" I can stand, and "Destroyer Of Senses"...just sucks.
-
Regardless, I loved this movie, my favorite film from BOTH series, so I'll snag it ASAP. Personally, I thought they would have tried to rush it for a Halloween release, but if 1/13 is a Friday, it makes more sense.
-
Wow...next week sounds like it just might be the first TNA show I skip...
-
I don't even think Mantel's gotten control yet... WHY DOES STYLES NEED A BAT TO TAKE OUT AN OLD MAN THAT CAN BARELY MOVE?!
-
No. Tonight's show is about on par with Raw in the boredom factor.
-
Good power wrestling from TNA = Malice. Typical HOSSES = Red Shirts. There's a difference. Malice can move, Red Shirts can't. Well, Daniels/Kazarian was about what I expected, with Daniels completely carrying that uncharismatic fuck Antonio Bandarian to a watchable match. And now, we get ready for some solid action. AMW vs. Kash/Abyss.
-
1. Red Shirts fucking suck. Neither man left their feet, aside from Northcut's double-underhook piledriver, the entire match. Williamson (or whatever the goofy one's name is) throws the worst punches I've ever seen, and neither man really tried much. 2. Sabin/Shane sucked. Why? Because Michael Shane does. Why does TNA refuse to push the GOOD X-Division wrestlers (namely Lynn and Sabin) while the uber-shitty ones (Kazarian and Shane) that nobody gives two fucks about get the push? It's kind of sad that TNA is, allegedly, making the X-Division workers tone down the matches (because of Mantel) when the most acclaimed TNA show to date, the Super X Tournament, was nothing but fast-paced spotty wrestling. 3. 6-Man was okay. Mitchell promo was decent. 4. Oh FUCK...why does TNA refuse to get rid of this uncharismatic bastard?

That's not your mistake for watching an Ernest movie, Lukester. It's your mistake for finding a chick that doesn't like the early Ernest movies.
