Nevermind. I just modified it, and yeah.

Mind erasing that article I posted? I meant to save it so that I could come back and work on it later tonight after I came home from time with my girl, but it sorta posted anyway. I'm not finished with it, though I'll prolly be finished with it tonight.
-
I could rip a couple tracks, but since I'm a fanatic for Zombie Apocalypse, I think I'll make you buy the record (should you ever be able to find it).
-
If TNA doesn't hype this all the fuck up...then yeah. IMO, they should go for a Lovett/Buck vs. Naturals feud for a little bit. It's quite easy: "you broke my neck, and now you pay." I don't mind Lex Lovett, either, and I dig the chemistry between Douglas and Stevens (though I don't think either man would do that good by themselves, since they just compliment each other too well), and Buck...I don't know who the hell he is, but since he's apparently Lovett's partner, run with it.

I'm not ruling out that either of Stallone's sequels will be quality as long as Sly writes a GOOD script for Rocky 6 (ie. Rocky Balboa losing to the younger champ and passing the torch to him) and Rambo IV (ie. training some newbs, or whatever). I'd like to see Rambo more like Sly's character in Copland, personally...just sorta normal.
-
The whole series is nothing more than "hey, this is a cool way to kill somebody...let's create some shitty-ass fucking story with shitty-ass fucking actors playing our shitty-ass fucking characters, and hey!"
-
Way to go, Chase. TNA should hype this up on air.

Possibly moving to Delaware or Massachusetts...

The only positive I can see for Springfield is that it isn't Weymouth. Weymouth just eats balls, man. I have to deliveries to Weymouth for work regularly, and man...I couldn't imagine living there. It's not, like, Blackstone or Woonie (Woonsocket, RI for you non-Massholes, or at least the Massholes that aren't from SE MA), but...it's close to being Framingham. A lot of businesses, but nothing else, really. It's what Framingham would be like if it were filled with honkies instead of Brazilians, really. -
My band's MySpace is in my sig, and mine is linked off of that in the friends list.
-
I like the idea of me and Dames trading it off week after week, but I'm never around to watch the show (I'm usually in bed during the replay, and out with friends during the initial airing). Once it gets a better timeslot, you damn skippy I'll make a move to recapping it weekly. And yeah, I still do have the first Rush on my old Angelfire account. Why, want a link?
-
Yeah. First 'Rush in over a year.

When was this? I thought Sugar Shane was a face. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He was heel at first. (I think) Not sure when he turned or if it was a gradual thing cuz people loved the vertabreaker. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As the resident 3Count mark, allow me to explain: -3Count debuted as heels, with Evan Karagias being the only one of the three previously in WCW for any length of time. Fans were indifferent to them because of the lame gimmick. -Tank Abbot became 3Count's abusive manager in an angle that could have worked were it not Tank Abbot and instead somebody with SOME range of acting ability. -3Count got fed up with Tank, as Tank costed them many matches against their rivals the Jung Dragons (Kaz Hayashi, Jimmy Yang, and Jamie Noble as Jamie-san), and beat him in a 3-on-1 hardcore handicap match...BARELY. -The feud with the Jung Dragons continued following a short feud with Norman Smiley over the Hardcore title, and dissention within the ranks of both teams began. -In late 2000, 3Count became, basically, 2Count as Evan Karagias and Shannon Moore kicked Sugah Shane out of the "band" for "getting an ego." Likewise, on the Jung Dragons, Jamie-san was booted out by their manager, Kimona Wanalaya (I forget her name in WCW at this point, but it's the same person) for being the jobber of the group. -3-WAY WARFARE! Evan/Moore, Hayashi/Yang, and Helms/Noble (who unmasked following his departure) was a common match on Nitro and Thunder. -Sugah Shane finally got revenge over Evan Karagias on a Nitro before SuperBrawl: Revenge, and revenge over Shannon Moore on a Thunder before WCW Greed. So yeah. I pretty much just made the whole gimmick seem THAT much better, but, in truth, I was a mark for 3Count, right down to the terrible theme music, awful entrance video, and insynchronized dancing. WRESTLING NEEDS ANOTHER BOYBAND.

No, he's too metal to just do that. He'd probably rape their wife, slay their children, and THEN fire them.

The Story of XTREME PRO WRESTLING

Danzig is, pretty much, an icon to old-school punks. Former frontman of The Misfits, former frontman of Samhain, and frontman of his self-titled project. Guy's a prick, but he's the only rock star left that people still think could probably kick their ass in a fight (despite the North Side Kings proving otherwise). -
1. Ron "The Truth" Killings I have a feeling that WWE will EVENTUALLY get a good booking/writing team together, and when his contract is up in TNA? Wouldn't surprise me if he was offered a spot on the WWE roster. Guy has charisma, is VERY carryable in the ring, and, unlike our current WWE Champion, actually CAN rap, so there's a part of his gimmick right there, possibly. Oh, wait, I forgot...he's black. Pfft...he'll never main event in the E. 2. Johnny Nitro I've marked for him since TE3. Hell...everybody on TE3 that lasted until the last episode I marked hard for. They all actually WANTED to be wrestlers, and you could tell. Great look, good charisma, getting better in the ring, and HOMEGROWN. 3. Bobby Lashley Not based on talent, of course. Based solely on the fact that he's huge.

Chris Kanyon speaks out on his arrest.
Corey_Lazarus replied to Downhome's topic in General Wrestling
Kanyon and Saturn should be signed to TNA and pushed as a top tag team. Not only are they damn fine in the ring (hell, for a while in TNA, the best match the company put on outside of the X-Division was Saturn vs. Mike Barton), but they both are selfless and will place themselves in harm's way to help total strangers. -

Yeah, Barber. Because NOBODY at TSM has ever heard of Danzig... ...I mean, it's not like he has something to say, and he just killed your baby today. Well, I suppose it doesn't matter much to him, just so long as it's dead. -
Why not just give him the popstar-who-can't-sing-or-dance gimmick back?
-
Hopefully they learned from BFG to never take a shitload of gimmick matches and throw them onto one show. Sure, it DOES make the show seem bigger to have a lot of gimmick matches on one event, but really: it just ruins the show since then every match is about the GIMMICK and not the WORKERS. Sooooo hey. Sounds like a good card, so far. Be interesting to see Sabu/Abyss, if only because Sabu is the best he's been in years, and Abyss is damn good. I'm expecting bloodshed in no less than three matches, and I wouldn't mind a draw for Sabu/Abyss. Think about it: re-do the Born to be Wired finish...sorta. Sabu is too wrapped in barbed wire to continue, and Abyss is COVERED in thumbtacks and is beaten pretty much unconscious. Both men get put over because they fought until they couldn't continue, and it leaves open another rematch.
-
Hrmmmm...depends, really. Motion capture for SOME moves could be good, but others, well...Acklame, anybody?
-
Hrmmm...this could be interesting. I wonder why the EA deal fell through...maybe because EA has a wrestling game series with Def Jam? Dammit...that would've been []D [] []\/[] []D. A TNA game with Def Jam: Fight For New York controls and similar gameplay (though that game engine would lend itself more to a UFC game than anything else).

Ah, I misread ya. Well, that'd be cool if I could stop partying every weekend and don't mind coming to work Tuesday morning strung out. Actually...I DON'T mind coming to work Tuesday morning strung out, since there's no long-lasting effects and a cup of coffee wakes me right up.
