I was disappointed because, instead of showing some clips of Chris Sabin at his best (in pure 1-on-1 heel dickery), they showed a match where he was a participant against an above-average worker whose fame is based on his cousin (Michael Shane) and Antonio Banderas (Kazarian). Remember the "Best of the X-Division" show a year ago? Way better than tonight's. And tonight had more stuff to use.

I find it funny that they clipped "the most important match in the history of TNA" (Raven/Jarrett) but left the Tag title match between AMW and XXX uncut (which was a good move, as that's the best TNA match since Styles/Lynn/Ki, non-ladder). You'd think they'd leave a good 50% of the crap about Raven/Douglas out and show Raven/Jarrett in full, since they hyped it up as THE most important match in TNA history. I can't believe I decided to watch this instead of talk to my girlfriend. Just when TNA provides a damn good month of programming this past month, they deliver a shitty "best of" that is just...mediocre.

Nevermortal, I have a perfectly fine reason for not ordering tonight: I already have all of the matches on tape, as I order/tape each week, and have since Week 4. Choke on that, slapnuts. ...ah, back when I didn't loathe Jeff Jarrett...pre-Superman Jeff Jarrett... I'm ordering the show regardless. Might just tape it onto a tape by itself in SP mode (usually record in EP mode to save money, as then I get 3-4, depending if its a 6 or 8 hour tape, per tape), and pass it around to my friends that still watch wrestling now and then to try to generate some interest. Then again, I only have, like, 2 or 3 friends that are still into wrestling, so it's probably for not.

Fuck the RIAA.

I'd laugh if it was Motorhead (can't do the O right, on a shitty Mac at school), and Dio was, like...shot for being under the wrong bridge.

And then, we the Shadows Fall faithful from the start will be like "fuck that noise" and be COMPLETELY elitist to the BMA's.

I want to see Shadows Fall, Dysentery, Killswitch Engage, and Beyond The 6th Seal kill whoever makes the decisions for the BMA's. Each year, Godsmack gets some award, and thus the rock stations suck Godsmack's cocks like the band is actually WORTH something.

...if it's Acclaim, I will jump on the "countdown to TNA's extinction" bandwagon. Why? Name me one good post-Warzone wrestling game Acclaim has made. Even Legends Of Wrestling is EXTREMELY flawed (lack of moves to use, slow gameplay, etc.).

"Opinion" is a valid excuse for matches ranging from **1/2 to ***1/2. A star here or there? Okay, opinion is good. But to have on person say one match is *****, but another person say the same match is **, there's somebody in the wrong.

Teddy Hart should be brought back more, only they should try to cut a deal THROUGH him where TNA and Stampede can do inter-promotional shows. That'd help get TNA exposure in Canada, and help get Stampede exposure in the States. I can't wait for the game, if the deal goes through. EA Sports made Def Jam Vendetta (which had the potential to be the greatest wrestling game ever, save for some minor flaws, but the gameplay and graphics were superb), but they also made Mayhem and Backstage Assault. Mayhem was okay, but Backstage Assault was terrible. TNA figures? I hope they go an ECW route with the way the figures look. I don't know why, but my ECW figures are my favorite (and I only have Taz, Dreamer, RVD, and Sabu). They look so damn RETRO. Sure, not as detailed as the current crop of WWE figures, but you could tell who they were EASILY at first glance. Only downside was the fact that they weren't any different in size, so a 6'2" worker like Tommy Dreamer was equal size to the 5'7" wonder Taz. Medical insurance? Sounds like TNA is pulling a trump card on WWE and most other promotions. Providing medical insurance, unheard of, could attract a LOT of workers to TNA rather than WWE or other promotions.

NEWA/RIWA. Don't know what that means? Good. It stands for the New England Wrestling Alliance, and the Rhode Island Wrestling Alliance. Essentially, the same promotion. The ring was set up by bell time, so it was fine. The first match wasn't too bad, as it was between Patient 666 and Mark "Messiah" Thunder. Thunder was playing the uber-prick heel, and he played it well. He got heat, and they put on a good match. The rest of the show I can't be bothered to remember, because it WAS that bad. Until the last two matches, which topped the crappiness off. The second-to-last match was the NEWA/RIWA Tag Team title match. It was 2 random Mountie rip-off's against the champions, Danger Boy Alfredo and Wolverine. New England wrestling fans will know of Danger Boy, as he has a huge ego because he did a job here and there when the WWF/WWE would come up to MA/RI. Anyways, the match sucked balls. Worse than an APA/Billy & Chuck match. Worse than a fucking match between HHH and Kevin Nash. Yeah, THAT BAD. Anyways...the match ended when Wolverine was tagged in and hit some powerbomb or something. The main event was the NEWA/RIWA's version of the Royal Rumble, which was just a shitty excuse to get a bunch no-named bitches in the ring. This big fat guy won to no avail. I was bored the whole time.

Guys...Def Jam Vendetta. 'Nuff said. It was made by EA Sports and Aki. If EA is smart, they'll be like "yo, Aki, here's a wrestling game for you." And all will be well, as Aki rules.

I heard somewhere that a deal was struck up between TNA and EA Sports. If that's true, then fuck Def Jam 2. I want TNA! Either way, I hope a TNA game comes into fruition, because having LowKi kicking the hell out of ANYBODY at your command will own all.

I'd hope they could do more than I could in the ring, since they're trained professionals, and I'm a high school senior that occasionally farts around with my friends in the yard. Women's wrestling can be great. I'm no Joshi expert (hell, I've only seen 2 Joshi matches, and both were deathmatches), but it seems that Joshi is VERY good, on average. I think the reason most of the WWE women suck is because they're trained BY the WWE-approved trainers, and thus we get crap.

So yeah...best match? Hands-down, I think it was Sabin/Juvi.

You're all making a big deal out of nothing. You got that? NOTHING. N-O-T-H-I-N-G. Wow, so the guy has some political views that differ from a good portion of you. OH NO~! HE MUST BE SHOT~! Shut the fuck up. He's a good actor that is in quite a few good movies. His political views should not have an effect on your enjoyment (or lack thereof, should it be the case) of his films. Now shut up and buy another ticket to Pirates Of The Carribean, because you know you loved it too.

Agent, I think you underestimate death metal's popularity. Need I remind you that metal is one of the predominant POPULAR forms of music in Europe and Japan (and Japan's population is larger than that of the United States)?

I'd say ***, maybe ***1/4. Definitely innovative, but the match lacked a lot, and *** might be overrating it. Ugh, I hated this match. **, **1/2 tops. ****, easily. If not for the finish, ****1/2. The finish COMPLETELY ruined the match for me, as it made NO FUCKING SENSE for Jarrett to beat Raven after being MURDERED by Team ECW. ***. Styles and D'Lo work pretty well together, but I think this was one of their weaker matches. ***1/4. Jarrett dragged down what had the potential to be a great match simply be being in it. I hate Jarrett, I really do. Boring ringwork, boring micwork, and he's treated like Jesus because he's the boss's son. And he's not as over as half of the roster, yet he's pushed better than all of them. Hence the "Triple J" chants, though Jarrett at least ATTEMPTS to put over other talent by selling his ass off. ****1/2. Harris and Storm will probably never, EVER be able to pull of a classic like this again. Elix's bumping, Daniels' selling, and the superb brawling of AMW made this a keeper. If you buy the PPV, buy it for this match alone.
