It is not blasphemy. People are under the impression that pop music means only stuff like Brittney Spears, N'Sync, Madonna, etc., but Inc's definition is exactly right.

I carried the opinion that Here Comes Your Man by The Pixies was the perfect pop song for quite a while. Now I'm not sure.

I rate albums on here for the most part right after I just listened to it, or am in the process of listening to it. And I have a weird singular brain when it comes to music where whatever I am listening to at the moment is all that's imporant with the world. I rate accordingly.

Well, that's just how I reacted to it. Probably due more to the circumstances than the actual song. It's not even the best song on the album.
