I thought Stewart was pretty good but nothing to write home about. I wish they'd invite Chris Rock back but there's probably a one in one thousand chance of that happening again.
-
That was fucking hillarious. Huey Lewis! McLovin! Don Cheadle! Meat Loaf! Harrison Ford! Just awesome
-
Hey! Bald Denzel is back!
-
Alright I know I'm outnumbered here and I know as a registered member of the Green Party I'm not exactly an unbiased critic but regardless of what you think of Michael Moore, the dude's a talented filmmaker.
-
Nah, I think it came out late Spring/early Summer of this year.
-
I had a feeling that the song from Once would win. I'm not really knowledgable about who was the favorite in that category, I just thought it was the best song out of the ones performed tonight. That reminds me, I've been meaning to rent that one.

'43 was Casablanca I guess I'm getting old...at 19 cause I coulda swore they skipped 1943 *shrugs*
-
Hey they skipped 1943? I assume the Oscars were cancelled that year (Because of the War?)
-
Has anybody actually seen La Vie En Rose? I try to see as many acclaimed movies as I can and even I didn't see it. Though I think it only played in Portland for one week way back in July or August.
-
Woo! Woo! Another minor upset.
-
You know Jessica Alba being on the Oscars telecast is nearly as baffling as Norbit being nominated. Besides Sin City, has she made a movie that was remotely good? The Ten was alright but the movie seemed to be good despite her not because of her.

Man arrested for having sex with a dead deer

I think you're right Milky RE:Murdering police dogs will get you charged with murder. There was an episode of Homicide: Life on The Street where a couple of the detectives investigated the death of a police dog. -
It's good to be reminded that Sidney Poitier is still kicking. Is he retired or just not getting roles?
-
Tilda Swinton with the upset. That was probably my favorite of the nominees. Though whatsherface from Atonement was damn good too.
-
No but they were playing them at an arthouse theater about 40 minutes away. I kind of want to go but I forgot about it. I might Netflix them. Why are they promoting Bee Movie? DVD coming out soon I presume.

The chicken crispers were in the appetizer sampler I got. They were easily the best part of the sampler but there was something slightly odd about the texture of 'em. The boneless buffalo wings were terrible. How can buffalo wings be so awesome and boneless buffalo wings be so mediocre? And the mozzarella sticks were mozarella sticks. I can't remember having truly great mozarella sticks but I've never gotten any that were worse than "Not bad". These were not bad.

I never liked him at the time but looking back on it, Bull Buchanan made a solid intimidating lackey. Whatever happened to Bull? Why hasn't TNA signed him yet for way more than he's worth? Wrestling needs more intimidating lackeys!
-
Honestly, I thought Tom Wilkinson gave the best performance out of all of the nominees. But Bardem was great too so huzzah for him.
-
So does Louis Gossett Jr.....wow, that sound racist. Lushus would agree with me that those two have done crap since they won the award....except The Principal, but I've already let my love for that movie be known.
-
Speaking of wrestling and award shows, am I the only one who misses the Slammys? I'd watch them if they still had them.
-
Sounds like Lushus has a man crush... You know I bet this appearence is going to inspire some dumb comments on the WWE folder. "OMGZ if he appeared at the Oscars, why wouldn't he appear at the WWE Hall of Fame?"
-
The Rock! Is he the first pro wrestler to appear on the Academy Awards?
-
I'm surprised that they even nominated Norbit. Even if it was for Best Makeup. I mean Rick Baker's already won six of 'em and is probably the most acclaimed make up guy in the business.
-
I thought Snipes was in exhile after that tax evasion charge. I guess whoever was handing out the invites must have been a big White Men Can't Jump fan.

I've heard rumors that No Country and TWBB are splitting the vote for Best Picture so we may get an upset. I think Michael Clayton is the best choice for a dark horse.
