WWE 24/7 Discussion Thread - January 2008
King Kamala replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in WWE Multimedia
Did he yell "MEATBALL" when giving Tito a press slam? And I also like what I've seen of Hogan's early arrogant heel stuff as well. I also think he was a bit better worker back then. -
Folks I have another problem there's a CENTIPEDE right near me

Deon is the ghetto Dave Meltzer

If Jake Roberts isn't on Celebrity Rehab 2 on VH1, I'll be mighty pissed. And don't try to say he's not famous enough for that show. The guy from Crazy Town is on there! Jake The Snake is at least as famous as that guy!

Here are two (maybe the only two?) of The Man With No Face's (One of Ed Leslie's 1,108,273 gimmicks) appearences in the WWF circa '91. The Man With No Face attacks "The Model" Rick Martel The Man With No Face saves Greg Valentine from the dastardly Dino Bravo and Earthquake Some more WrestleCrap Loch Ness Vs "American Male" Marcus Alexander Bagwell A Kimchee (!!!) squash match

Fair enough. I'm just trying to get along with everybody dammit!

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

Hey cunt, that's a new one for Carlito I think. Good for you! -
Geez what the fuck is up with snuffbox's beef with me? Yeesh. I guess the further you get in the tournament, the more haters. Whatever, I still like you alright snuffy. Anyways Milky- His toughest matchup yet but he still squeaks by. Venkman- My 3rd favorite poster! Me- I think the buck stops here sadly for me. King's a good guy to lose to though. Seems like a decent fellow. Slayer-Both good guys but Slayer's better. Kinetic- Toughest match up for me this round, flip a coin. El Dandy- I like Vitamin X but his vegetarian shit and occasional preachiness in the food folder gives this one to my friend, Dandy. Edwin MacPhisto- Lushus is a good guy but I think MacPhisto is a slightly better poster. Smues- Another close one but Al's weird behavior with the ESPN thread gives this one to Smues. Smues is a good guy even if he can't tell the difference between Teddy Long and Clarence Mason.

Weirdly enough, you're my 3rd favorite poster!

It's on Netflix and Blockbuster Online, if you have either of those.

You spit the truth Bob. And I was just starting to really like the guy two or three days ago. I don't know what I did. The Brigante must be rubbing off on you. you just a fat faggot, bitch!
-
Aw fuck. I forget you live in the Central Time Zone. Same thing happened last night. I'll have to set my clocks an hour back for the rest of this tournament!
-
We got any tiebreakers this round, Czech?

I shave about every 7 to 10 days. I can't grow much facial hair and it doesn't help the fact that there's this weird patch of skin near my chin that can't grow any facial hair. Ah well- at least I can grow some pretty cool sideburns. I use a Gillette Mach 3 and it wipes the peach fuzz I got off my face and makes my face as smooth as a baby's buttocks.

http://www.cinemablend.com/features/Uwe-Bo...othing-209.html An article about how Boll funds his movies. He's admitted to as much in DVD commentaries.
-
Ah that's right. How easily I forget about that? For what it's worth, I've read a few decent reviews for Postal (his aforementioned movie starring Dave Foley). I doubt it'll get released in theaters but I might check it out on DVD.
-
The Great Debaters hasn't been out in some places (We're not getting it till February I think) and has been out for a month in others. That explains its positioning
-
Well, In The Name of The King flopped. When will they stop letting Uwe Boll direct movies?
-
Venkman and Milky are right. Put this round (and thread) out of its misery. P.S. But I would like to discuss high school teacher turned vigilante movies somewhere. I might mention it in the Movies folder CTDWAT.
-
I haven't seen it in years but on the basis of that, I might have to add it to my NetFlix queue.
-
Fred Willard also guest starred on Saved By The Bell: The New Class. I love the guy but the dude is worse than Eugene Levy in terms of being in shitty movies (and guest starring on shitty sitcoms)
-
Czech is the hardest working man on this forum.
-
Gary- it's The Principal you idiot! And it's the peak of the highlight of the subgenre of high school teacher turned vigilante movies spoofed in High School High (Oh Jon Lovitz, where has your career gone?)
