Just when I thought edgehead had became a forgettable, medicore (by WWE folder, shitty by any other standards) poster. He did this.

Indiana Basin Silt 1. Milky. RedJed seems like a decent enough chap but Milky is a legend. This is a Vader circa '93 level squash here. 9. luke-0. Close one for me. I picked luke-o because we're somewhat chummy in the Poster Above You thread and I like the guy. I don't know why but I just do. Probably he's British. Rarely have I met or seen a British person that I don't like. 4. Ripper. Always entertaining- especially when making ludicrous arguments for the sake of making ludicrous arguments. I'm not sure if I know who Ginger Snaps is. Is she a chick? 5. Agent. Again bigolsmitty is a pretty good poster but Agent is a legend around here. 2. Dr. Venkman. My 3rd favorite poster here behind Milky and Kinetic. Just an all around swell guy and Cartman kind of sucks. Easy one here. 10. Nightwing. Another really close one for me. CandianGuitarist is good but Nightwing is one of the best under the radar posters here. 3. Matt Young. Another poster that I can't explain why I like them. I just do. I can see why people hate the guy but I don't. 6. kkk. I liked CWM back in the day but this is a case of "What have you done for me lately?" He hasn't done much memorable in a while. kkk is an affable old curmudgeon. Help Me, I'm A Rock 1. King Kamala Classic. Well who am I going to vote for one of the few posters I really dislike here or myself? Hmmmmmm....I'm picking me! 9. CanadianChris. I'm not entirely familiar with the works of either posters but Chris gets the nod for not starting a campaign thread for himself. 4. King. King's a cool dude. That's all I really have to say about him. 5. KOAB. Don't really have an explanation here. KOAB is cool with me. 2. Slayer. I half jokingly wanted to pick JN News and maybe I would if he weren't against a great affable chap like Slayer. 7. Socksquatch. FART 3. Cyber Mark. I love British posters. What a nice group of kids they are. 6. Treble. Jingus is alright but some of his posts annoy the fuck out of me. Culture Beat 1. Czech. Timmy is a poster to watch but Czech is a legend 8. Alfdogg. Don't know much about Devo so I'm putting my vote for Alfdogg. 4. Kinetic. 2nd favorite poster here behind Milky. I really like the guy. KingPk is a cool dude though but it's no real contest 5.pbone. The TSM rookie of the year 2. Vitamin X. Cool dude, though a bit preachy at times. Don't know much at all about TheFranchise 7. Gary Floyd. Always says hi to me during the rare occasions I go into RAW or PPV chats. Cool dude. 3. El Dandy. Porter still posts here? 6. Bob Barron. I really like the guy and his SNL reports so sue me. Powderfinger region 1. Black Lushus by a country mile. 8. Sensei John Kreese 4. Incadenza. I thought he was a condescending, albeit often entertaining jerk until I found out about our mutal love for Todd Rundgren. 5. Edwin MacPhisto. A close one. Edwin wins on experience. 2. Alkeiper 7. Cheech 3. Smues. Who's DoCock? 6. Scroby. I don't hate Marvin like most but he can get grating at times. Scroby just seems like a swell guy.

Terribly inaccurate wrestling predictions you made
King Kamala replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
Hulk Hogan would retire for real in 1993/1998/2003/2005 Mike Awesome would become a main event talent in WCW and would help bring them back from the gutter. -
I'm with Inc- I'm into his early to mid 70s stuff. I haven't really explored his stuff outside of that except the stuff that's on greatest hits compilations and The Hermit of Mink Hollow. Something/Anything? is my fav. Hey Inc- have you ever heard Todd's cover album Faithful? One of the biggest cases of musical masturbation I've heard. It's not neccessarily bad but what's the point of making a covers album where you try to duplicate the originals as accurately as possible? Interestingly enough, my dad played it in the car just as often if not more often than The Hermit of Mink Hollow or Something/Anything?

you better not leave socksquatch off the list or there will be hell to pay, my friend. HELL TO PAY!

TSM NIT bracket KOAB Any poster from Indiana not named Agent of Oblivion or Alfdogg JN News Carlito Brigante Your Paragon of Virtue Taiga Star Mecca/Enigma Cena's Torn Pec
-
JN News is taking TSM NIT easily. Sad thing is we probably scared the guy away. We need inoffensive shitty posters just like we need good posters sometimes. Rarely but sometimes. Or he's busy hunting down the MSN contact that played him for a damn fool.
-
I don't know whether I should be relieved or saddened not to be on that list.
-
For some reason, my dad likes Screamin' A. Smith and will on rare occassion, describe me some hilarious happenings on that show. Dad's getting senile I guess.
-
I wouldn't say it's a shoo in. While Milky is the man to beat, I'm sure there'll be a sizable amount of people who'll be resentful of the crowd who says "END THE RACE RIGHT NOW, GIVE IT TO MILKY!" Milky is the Hillary Clinton of this race. I like to think of myself as the Kucnich as the race.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

In stunning news, I've decided to change my avatar for the first time since I joined this board way back in July '02. After the poster tournament is done, there's a 90% chance I'll be changing my screenname. Stay tuned for exciting updates! -
great, now the thread's fucked! Thanks Marv! And the guy I was thinking of was gWIL http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...ic=74079&hl= http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...ic=71792&hl= http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...ic=70374&hl=

I always get Cowboy confused with the guy from Indiana who always had threads in the music forum about whether he should go shitty concerts because he had nothing better to do. I'm not sure why and I'm pretty good at remembering posters.
-
Now I'm on a big Van Halen kick. Mostly David Lee Roth era but I throw in the 2 or 3 Hager songs I can tolerate intermittantly. Here's a good spot to mention I have a cousin whose favorite album is Van Halen III.
-
I liked SoulDecision. They only had one big hit (Faded) and one minor hit (Oooh It's Kind of Crazy) here in the States. I saw them as part of a dreadful radio station concert (Q Holiday Concert '00 if memory serves correctly) where they were one of two decent acts on a bill of eight or nine bands (The other being Sister Hazel, another band worth mentioning in this thread). I think SoulDecision is kind of the missing link between NSync (or any of the boy band of the time) and Maroon 5

You know I don't really mind Downhome. His hyperbolic movie reviews and reactions to wrestlers deaths are kind of endearing to me. Then again, I'm like Milky, I like almost everybody here. There are few people on this board that I dislike and the few that I do are the posters that are hated by pretty much everybody.
-
Czech, I'm staying true to the board's roots. Actually, I've always been bad at coming up with screennames and stuff like that. Plus I've never really thought about changing it that much for some reason. And I estimate that a good 25-30% of my votes are in the wrestling folders anyways. But you can guarantee that if I do ever want to change my screen name I'll ask you guys for advice cause lord knows I'd come up with something stupid like JJ Kool Aid if left to my own devices.

This one's for you- Socksquatch Once when I was 5 or so, a girl (to be fair the girl looked like she was 9 or 10 and was much bigger than me) shoved me to the ground at a McDonalds playground causing me to fart so hard I pooped my pants a little. And there goes my last shred of dignity. I better get a for sharing this embarrassing chapter of my life!
-
Wait- Us in the Eastern Time Zone are the only ones who get most of our late evening newscasts at 11? I did not know that for some reason. The Fox and CW affliates here have 10 P.M. newscasts but they're shitty as you'd probably expect. News at 10 just feels wrong to me. And it doesn't help that Fox and the CW's 10 P.M. newscasts are just using CBS' affliate and NBC's affliates C teams for them.

In no particular order (Except incidentally the first three I listed are probably my three favorite posters) 1.Milky 2. Kinetic 3. Dr. Venkman 4. Agent of Oblivion 5. SOCKSQUATCH 6. Edwin Macphisto 7. Black Lushus 8. gary floyd 9. Ripper 10. Incadenza You can't vote for yourself I assume. But somebody's got to show some King Kamala a little bit of love. I'll be happy just to be in the tournament, even if I end up as first round cannon fodder.
-
It's at MSG, they'll mark.
-
I ordered that on PPV. It's the one PPV I remember my dad watching with my brother and me. It's no wonder that he hates wrestling. And if anything this writer's strike has given me a chance to really catch up with this forum. And by catch up, I mean spend 10-12 hours a day on here
-
You shoulda bolded that too. I guess that TNA needed to scoop the WWE's elderly heat with having a guy who's even older than Ric Flair wrestling on their show. Not to mention approximately 100x less over than Flair. I mean does anybody north of the Mason Dixon line give two shits about Bob Armstrong? And I'm not sure if there are more than a dozen people below it that care.
-
Yech- I feel for you man. Last night, I watched Leonard Part 6. Terrible movie with fits of unintentional hilarity. A movie where Bill Cosby rides around on an ostrich can't be entirely bad but it was close to it.
-
So which movies are you anticipating in 2008?
King Kamala replied to CBright7831's topic in Television & Film
I'm not sure what that movie is about but if this guy is involved, I'm sure it'll be box office gold. I'm not sure what's coming out this year (Which is weird since I try to go to the movies once or twice a year) but I'm looking forward to The Dark Night and Trailer Trash.
