Didn't stop Epic Movie from making like $20 million on its opening weekend back in January.

Tenta seemed like a hell of a nice guy and wasn't horrible for a big man but if he wasn't dead, the thought of a DVD chronicling his career would be as absurd as a King Kong Bundy or a Warlord DVD.

My family doesn't really have a set Christmas dinner for some reason. Some years we have Turkey with all of the usual sides we have on Thanksgiving (Mashed Potatoes, stuffing, etc.) minus the cranberry sauce). Some years we have the same thing as that except with Ham instead of turkey. And some years we just have sandwich platters and chips with the usual desserts. Yesterday, we had for some bizarre reason. A combination of all three of those. Turkey, ham, sandwich platter. Plus we had my mom's delicious homemade macaroni and cheese.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

The Dream Police, they live inside of my head! -
A character from the little remembered animated flick, The Quest For Camelot appears on Thunder and passes out T-Shirts while Schiavone shills for the movie. One of Steve Austin's last matches in the WCW. Against "Macho Man" Randy Savage in the 2nd round of the U.S. title tournament on an episode of WCW Saturday Night circa May '95.

I remember Tenta said in his interview with Wrestlecrap that the "snake" was in fact hamburger meat inside a pair of pantyhose.

I used to like Slush Puppies back in elementary school. It probably stems from the fact that during my formative years Maine didn't have 7-11 (Weird story as all the 7-11s around here changed to a chain called Christy's in the mid 90s and then changed back to 7-11s in the late 90s) and therefore I didn't have Slurpees growing up and partially due to the fact that they were really cheap. I tried one this summer while on my way to New Hampshire for a concert and I have to say it ranks up there with Dunkaroos in terms of disappointing experiences involving trying stuff I used to love as a kid and hadn't had in years.

Maybe you're right. He also beat up a crippled Andre The Giant. On second thought, Fuck John Tenta!!!

Please be joking. Or.. perhaps, born yesterday. Im Dead Serious. 'Quake don't get no respect from TSM, even in death.

And a certain beloved poster from the East Coast Portland will be in attendance. I bought those tickets back in November- when only tickets against shit teams were available, never imagining it would be of any importance.

Re-Reading old posts you've made on this here forum.

I'm definitely embarrassed by the first two years worth of my posts here. It was only in the last year or two when my posts became what I would consider to be passable. -
Those bastards don't know when to stop. I hope Zucker, Abrams and Zucker are hanging their heads in shame for inspiring these cretins.
-
Hey Cancuck, I didn't say they were good. I was just saying they were the same thing as a Fruit Coolata (which I said were terrible in above post) except $3 cheaper. In fact, I'd venture to say Slush Puppies are better and Slush Puppies aren't very good.

^Milky's latest buttboy And I honestly don't mean that as an insult.
-
It opens limited release tomorrow but for the rest of the country I'm not so sure. It opens here in Portland on January 18th.
-
It doesn't look like we have to worry about that anytime in the relative near future. Also, the U.S. has millitary bases around the world. They could do one in Germany or South Korea par example. But most likely, they'll just do taped shows at random arenas.
-
And they're terrible. If anyone ever wanted a Fruit Coolata- just go to the local convenience store and get a Slush Puppy or a Slurpee and save yourself $2 or $3. They're the same damn thing.

The 3/24/80 show looks pretty historic. Besides Von Erich's MSG debut, you get a Zbysko/Sammartino and Hulk Hogan Vs Tito. The 1/21/85 show on the other hand looks kind of shitty outside of the main event. -
How did you find out that wrestling was not "real"?
King Kamala replied to majormayhem1's topic in General Wrestling
I can't remember one exact moment. My dad told me it wasn't real a couple months after I started watching but I didn't truly believe him until years later. It was just a bunch of collective moments that killed that myth. The first instance I remember of being a "smark" was going on all the newz websites after Russo did a "shoot" on Hogan at Bash of The Beach 2000 and thinking it was awesome. Yeah, I'll admit I thought WCW 2000 was awesome and I actually watched it over WWF at times that year. -
I personally love Christmas. Fuck the haters. Plus it's always funny to see my mother flip out every year on Christmas Eve when we're 15 minutes late to her side of the family's gathering. Happens every year. Never ceases to amuse me.

Some questions for TaigaStar to consider.
King Kamala replied to Copper Feel's topic in No Holds Barred
Has there ever been a poster that's brought less to the table? She's not attractive by any stretch of the imagination and she's not even bad enough of a poster to be so bad that she's good. -
Nightwing seems to post exclusively in the Current Events and Comic Books and Literature folder. I can't speak for the Comic Books folder but he brings the quality in CE and I'd say he's one of the better new posters we've had in a while. I think the strength of Nightwing, Ryechnaia Sobaka, and pbone negates the shittiness of TaigaStar.

I want the Steve Martin autobiography, Help! and SNL:Season 2 on DVD, The Great Movies II by Roger Ebert, and various other books and DVDs.
