That's too bad. It was being hyped as Coppola's "comeback"

WWE General Discussion - December 2007
King Kamala replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
I listened to a shoot interview with IIRC Honky Tonk Man (It was some 80s WWF guy) where he talked about how Hulk was the biggest pothead in the locker room back in the day. -
Same. I went to one that had one around here a couple times but I always opted for something else. It looked to be of sub OCB quality and the only people who got the buffet seemed to be old people or hicks. Then again you could say that about the crowd at every buffet.

Hey I like "Remember The Time". I like Dangerous in general even though it does have some really shitty stuff on there.
-
Technically speaking, voice actor Frank Welker is #1 in terms of total revenue for all of his films. http://www.the-numbers.com/people/records/ But I really doubt anybody has gone to any of his movies to see (well hear) him.

The Outsiders Vs Tuff Tony "The Tiger" Washburn and Bud "Smokey" Green from NWO Saturday Night. Funny commentary by Nash here. From The Boston Garden, one of Ted DiBiase's only matches as WWF World Champ, teaming up with Andre The Giant against Hulk Hogan and Bam Bam Bigelow.

Six Degrees was kind of a "small" movie and years before Will was the box office stud that he is now.
-
luke-o, I don't think you're neccessarily ugly. Just very very British looking.
-
Here's a rare one. One of Owen Hart's few matches in WCW from early '91. He teams up with Ricky Morton to take on Jumpin' Joey Maggs and another less notable jobber. Featuring DDP on commentary.

Banned...again. About 2 or 3 months back.

He was the only guy besides me who wasn't watching the PPV on the Live Chat during the Survivor Series (or whatever the hell the last WWE PPV was)
-
Ok this question has bugged the hell out of me for a while and just watching the 10 team match at Survivor Series '88 just brought it up again; What the heck was the explanation behind the double turn in the match? How did Fuji justify turning on Demolition? And for that matter, how did the PoP explain taking on Fuji as their manager? The crowd seemed just as I confused as I was/am.
-
Yeah I know it was nominated for an Oscar and stuff but it's still obscure for VH1 standards. One Headlight was huge and does indeed to be on there. I really marked when Springsteen did it with The Wallflowers at The VMAs in '97.
-
OK most of the complaints I get so far but would anybody really expect VH1 to put Elliot Smith on a list? I mean not that he doesn't deserve it but this is VH1 we're talking about. Call me crazy I thought that VH1 used to make some half-decent lists. The Hard Rock and One Hit Wonder ones come to mind.

^Remarkably versatile poster Some guys are only good in certain folders and absolutely suck in others. But Venkman is consistant across the board.
-
My prediction is if Marlo gets popped it'll be by Michael Lee and thus starting the cycle all over again.

I was thinking about filling out this survey as a joke but I can't think of anybody on this board I want to be on a first name basis with.
-
Who the hell here (or anywhere) said he was a wonderful citizen? You just want permission to make shit jokes.

Sabu's only WCW PPV appearence against the mysterious Mr. JL. Even though Sabu's act was quite toned down, this match is still quite different from '95 WCW. It's no wonder Sabu only lasted a month or two in WCW. Randy Savage takes on Troy Martin (the future Shane Douglas). Plus The Piper's Pit with Adrian Adonis. The Pedro Morales promo in the middle of the Savage match reminds me a bit of Chico Escuala. It's kind of a wonder that the guy was World Champ for two and a half years

Time for some WrestleCrap Friar Ferguson The Mantaur! The Ding Dongs (Plus The Great Muta and Eddie Gilbert) The Dungeon of Doom debut (A Personal Favorite) Hulk returns to The Dungeon of Doom (Featuring some great acting from The Giant) All this leading up to.... The Giant Vs Hogan- The Monster Truck Battle The exciting conclusion of the Monster Truck Battle!

I read a few reviews of Strength and Honor. None of them were that good but it still may be a borderline rental for me since I'm a fan of Madsen and Vinnie Jones and it's not too often that they get leads in movies.

Chris Masters & JN News have passed away...
King Kamala replied to JN News's topic in No Holds Barred
Guys, I think we scared him off. Either that or he's actually dead or busy trying to hunt down his MSN contact who played him like a fool. -
Hell, I came on here in July of '02 and was lurking for three or so months before and I don't even remember two-thirds of the guys in this thread whatsoever. Either that's a sign of my poor memory or an abundance of forgettable posters circa February '02.

Now that's a bunch of bullshit. I don't care if you like them or not, you can't deny that Boyz II Men were one of the biggest acts of the 90s. I mean Nelson is on there! Gerardo is on there! And Boyz II Men isn't? I shouldn't get worked up over VH1 lists. Actually though, I kind of like their Top 100 Songs of the 80s list. I didn't catch most of it but The Top 10 wasn't half bad, choice wise.

It was Nash. I was just listening to one of his shoot interviews. Hogan saw that the angle was getting hot and decided he wanted to get in and as Paul Harvey would say, you know the rest of the story.
