My theory; Cena's Torn Pec is a closeted goth and was offended by his constant goth insults. But that's just a theory

Ah MC Serch, the spokesman for white rappers. And probably my least favorite one hit wonders of the 90s. Why has this thread gotten to the 2nd page without this; Haddaway's appearence on the short lived "Hit Me Baby One More Time" was a great source of unintentional comedy for me and the one other guy at school who watched that shitty show during my junior year of high school.

Here's another feud that never was. This one from the low rent Boston based IWCCW circa Summer '91. The Honky Tonk Man and Rick Rude argue over who is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time and who has the better neckbreaker. Apparently, they hyped the match for months and months and it never happened. Then Rude signed with WCW and I guess you can say we never found out who was the better IC champ (or who was supposed to be the babyface )

Czech, by any chance were you a fan of Open House Party? It was a nationally syndicated radio show aired every weekend that played all sorts of that kind of music (Real McCoy, No Mercy, Haddaway, Crystal Waters, The Venga Boys, etc.) and shitastic remakes of current pop hits. It was a highlight of many a Saturday and Sunday nights for me as a youth.

WWE General Discussion - December 2007

Don't forget Damien Demento! -
I'm not one to double post typically but I had an epiphany that told me that this thread shall go without Kriss Kross for no longer And this next one is just for you Czechers

One of my favorites one hit wonders of the 90s, Primitive Radio Gods. I'm just a sucker for anything that sample B.B. King. Anytime I listen to one of those adult contemporary "80s, 90s, and Now!" stations for more than 15 minutes, this song fucking comes on everytime without fail. Marc Cohn is pretty bad ass for taking a bullet in the head. I also saw these guys live UNPLUGGED which will only enhance my reputation as the "90s alternative rock expert". This song title always got a giggle out of me and my elementary school mates.

I wholeheartedly agree with him doing non TNA PPV reviews. I'm betting his favorite non TNA PPV is WCW New Blood Rising because of all of the SWERVES! And I like how he says "over the years at this forum", how long has he been here? A week maybe?

I get called by people who have the wrong number at least once every three days. It's ridiculous. And they're usually for some pizza place. On my cell phone, I used to get a lot of automated voice messages from a debt collector for some guy named Robert Billcliff. I hope somebody didn't break that guy's thumbs or something for not paying them back.

I'm in the minority here but I'll tell you there's nothing wrong with a neck beard my friend. There's nothing wrong with a neck beard.

His hometown has a similar name to a TV movie from the early 90s I remember fondly (Camp Cucamonga- George Jefferson, Urkel, and D.J. Tanner in the same movie just to mention a few! Every sitcom circa 1990 was probably represented in that movie)

Once me and the younger brother were walking up to school in mid-February when it was like 5-10 degrees out or so and we saw some middle aged guy take out the garbage in a t-shirt and undies. We laughed and laughed.

I think this is the first time I've seen the Blue video in full. I think it was too crappy for MTV even if the song got overplayed on the radio. This might be the worst CGI I've ever seen surpassing the mark set by the CGI in Leprechaun 4: Leprechaun In Space and any Sci Fi Channel original movie. New Radicals might be my favorite 90s one hit wonder. Spacehog is up there too.

Damn that match was even better than I remembered it. And now for something completely different A heated main event in Puerto Rico as Abdullah The Butcher takes on...Zeus. And yes, it's as bad as you'd expect. Shitty quality but funny clip. A drunk Terry Funk appears on one of the first episodes of Shotgun and calls Vince McMahon "a Yankee Bastard", calls Todd Pettingill's mom a whore, threatens to beat up the cameraman and gets into a brawl with special guest color commentator, Steve Austin.

Ben Folds has a new one coming out in '08. It has to be better than Songs for Silverman. At least I hope so.

I don't know man, will this thread get a decade old commercial jingle stuck in my head like the Egg thread did? I doubt it.

Hey now come on Train wasn't a one hit wonder. They had at least three hits ("Meet Virginia", the aforementioned "Drops of Jupiter" and "Calling All Angels")! And their lead singer has a solo album out now that sounds exactly like Train. And I also saw them live coincidentally enough at the same radio station concert that I saw Eifel 65. And "Drops of Jupiter" is from '01 not the 90s! It's probably my favorite guilty pleasure of this decade.

If anything that thread got that jingle stuck inside my head for the first time in over ten years and for that, I thank you.

Virgil squashes as a young Balls Mahoney (wrestling as John Rechner). Weird to hear Lawler and Heenan on the same announce team. Tekno Team 2000 Vs the jobberific duo of Barry Horowitz and The Brooklyn Brawler.

The last U2 song I really enjoyed was "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me". The Batman Forever soundtrack was one of my two or three favorite CDs back in elementary school. I haven't listened to it in a while- but I'll venture to say it's still way better than the movie at least.
