I don't think Third Eye Blind is that popular anymore but they are still around and they just released or are about to release to a new album. But I never hear any of their new stuff on the radio or anything like that like I do when Cake or 311 puts out a new album. But the lead singer is bangin' Vanessa Carlton so kudos to him. I've always had a thing for her. Oh and my friend's band was asked to do a song for a Third Eye Blind tribute album a couple weeks back. Just thought I'd share that you all. Sadly, Third Eye Blind is far from the least deserving of bands who have had a tribute album dedicated to them. I think they're going to do "Never Let You Go"

Some old school gems for you all; Then WWWF World Champ, Bob Backlund appears on Georgia Championship Wrestling in a squash match. Man as someone who is almost entirely with his mid 90s WWF run, I'm surprised to see how ripped Backlund is here. Another clip from Georgia Championship Wrestling circa 1979. He was pretty over in '87 or '88 but I don't remember them doing that much with him outside of the angle at the beginning of his run where all the heel managers were bidding for his services only for him to pick Oliver Humperdink. Oh and he was the last guy eliminated on Hogan's team at the first Survivor Series and got to eliminate Bundy and OMG before getting squashed by Andre. I don't think Bam Bam got to have a feud with Andre but looking at the History of WWE site, he did face him at MSG in June of '88. Oh and moving from hosses to cruiserweights; whatever happened to the Amazing Red? And The SATs for that matter?

For all we know, he could have gotten into a heated argument with his MSN contact over the false reporting of Chris Masters and his contact could have knifed him or something. IT'S NOT A LAUGHING MATTER! Actually the thought of someone getting killed over Chris Masters is enough to make me chuckle.
