First picture I'm pretty sure there are two guys and two girls but the second one, no fucking clue what those guys are. Fucking TNA hatin' andorygenous goths

I know it's completely off topic but I'd like to use this thread as an opportunity to show some photos from the last TSM gathering;

Jannetty appeared on RAW like a year and a half ago to save HBK from The Spirit Squad. I remember that very well because me and my younger brother were watching it live and I jokingly said that I hoped Marty Jannetty would do a run in for the save...and then he did. Needless to say, I marked out. And I'm opposed to reshowing the first episode of RAW only because I don't want to hear Rob Barnett's shitty jokes ever again. Though I actually thought HBK Vs Max Moon was a fun little match.

What's everybody here's opinion on chowder? I'm having a hard time thinking of a kind of chowder I don't like. Though there are only four kinds of chowders I can think of.

I really don't know what was weirder with that clip, seeing Giant Gonzalez in street clothes or seeing Giant Gonzalez get somewhat of a pop from the crowd.

Hell thinking about it, I think all WarGames from '93 on were kind of lame with the exception of '96 (Which I remember being pretty good but haven't seen in 8 or 9 years). Does anybody even remember WarGames 2000 besides myself? -
I saw them at a radio station concert back in '00 or whenever the song was big. They played for 15 minutes and opened and closed with "Blue" amusingly enough.

Anything but '95 (Shudders) or '98 (double shudders) would be good. -
I saw Eifel 65 live That's really all I have to say

Disco Inferno? And does anyone get the "gothic comments" joke? I think he just uses really dated insults. Take out goth and replace it with emo in all of his comments and it'd still sound stupid but make sense (sort of). That's one of the reasons I think Jearan's a gimmick- I haven't seen anybody seriously call someone a goth in four or five years.

Forgive my ignornace but was Pimp C the half of UGK that was somewhat recently released out of prison?

It may have been posted but this is worth posting a billion times; Dusty Rhodes shills for the WWF catalog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd6zOOwWyeY Adam Bomb Vs Giant Gonzalez- the feud that never was

I don't know. This obscure "gem" is pretty awful In it he references Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and quotes Bryan Adams' "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You"

My sentiments exactly. Listening to Kornheiser on MNF is the sports announcing equivalent of the time I heard my dad rap.

I believe you're getting Stone Temple Pilots and Jane's Addiction confused. They're not really that similar outside of their drug habits and the fact their popularity peaked around 1993.

Damn you billboard.com for making me look like a fool! I doubt Zeppelin is playing as well. Robert Plant's doing a U.S. tour with Allison Krauss next summer and I honestly believe he's too much of an old hippie to want to do a full fleged reunion with Zeppelin.

According to billboard.com, Led Zeppelin and Metallica are headliners for Bonaroo '08. http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/articl...t_id=1003680301

Seconded, after accusing us of being paid spies and calling us goth boys, his posts have gone downhill.

I did. But perhaps you're still right because perhaps a significant portion of general wrestling fans have left wrestling a long time ago when it became bad. What was left of wrestling fans were troll-like creatures like we see here. They're not smart nor marks, they can best be described as "dumb goths", with expressions like "it sucks", "i yawned", "i knew Hall wouldn't show", "don't even argue with this moron"... And watch how they put a constant negative, goth-like spin on everything!!! Dumb goths? Dumb goths?? 1998 called, they want their insult back. It's not goth anymore it's emo. Geez.

There's your Super Bowl halftime entertainment. Incidentally, they announced the Super Bowl Halftime Show band today and it's......Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers http://www.nfl.com/superbowl/story?id=0900...mp;confirm=true I'm a bit surprised. I'm a big Petty fan but they're not the mega-stars that I'd expect to perform at The Super Bowl halftime show. Should be a good show regardless.

I think the show is decent. I was just saying the weightlifting and contract signings knock it down from being a good show to just decent. And what the hell was the point of putting the Stallions/Islanders match after The Rumble? I know they were trying to kill time but couldn't they have just put it earlier in the show and served the same purpose? -

Yep. Just saw the show for the first time a month ago. There's a decent Ricky Steamboat-Rick Rude opener, a good Women's Tag Team titles match involving the Jumping Bomb Angels and two really boring 15 minute segments that absoultely kill the show (Andre-Hogan contract signing and Dino Bravo trying to break the bench press record) besides The Rumble. -
Only thing I've bought is some DVDs for myself...... I'll probably do all of my shopping when I come home from college on the 21st.
-
That's right I forgot to mention that. Though I doubt the match is anything special because from what I've heard Rude didn't get any good until his second or third year in the WWF.
-
Hasn't been mentioned yet but Jermaine told some newspaper that The Jacksons are reuniting next year with Michael and doing a World Tour. I'd be semi-interested in it if tickets weren't going to be a gajillion dollars. I'm betting it'll be the most expensive concert ticket of all time. Whether people buy them or not though is beyond me
