Ah yes, The San Francisco 49er match between Booker T and Jeff Jarrett. That match is one of my favorite guilty pleasure matches of all time. It's just so bizarre I couldn't help but enjoy it. I remember they found a blowup doll and a framed picture of Scott Hall in the boxes. And Beetlejuice of Howard Stern Show minor fame did a run in after the match and got pummeled by Scott Steiner and put in the Steiner Recliner. Ah latter day WCW.

I'm just having a small dinner this year. Going out to eat somewhere with Mum, the brothers, and Grandma. Dad's working tonight so he's asleep. I don't know where the fuck the aunts, uncles, and cousins are this year. Then I'll probably watch football and some 30 Rock Season One I got from NetFlix. Yeah real fun holiday this year

Panera Bread is what I think of when I think of "blue state eatery". That's the one fast food place that the hipsters I know swear by. Good place generally but I don't like a lot of their breakfast stuff. Sometimes I just want a simple onion bagel and some nice cream cheese dammit!

Ebert's given everything a good review since he came back too (Except for Southland Tales which is apparently so shitty even he gave it a bad review). I still like reading his reviews for the most part but it's hard to see him give shit like August Rush ***

Well yeah sort of but they talk about crack which is kind of jarring. I don't remember that but then again I haven't watched it in seven or eight years. Why do the hell did they think little kids should learn about not smoking crack? And if they were trying to relate to older kids, Alf, The Smurfs, Bugs Bunny, Winnie The Pooh, Slimer, and The Muppet Babies aren't going to do it. This special was really the last hurrah of 80s cartoons. When was it made? '91? '92?

Damn fine movie. I don't know if I'd go with best of the year (I think Zodiac still might have that for me) but it's definitely up there. I don't see why some people are upset about the ending. I mean I guess I can but said reasons would be pretty stupid.

Most of mine have been mentioned but I'd like to add an unfortunate one. Cartoon All Stars To The Rescue. I loved that shit as a kid. I even convinced my pre-K teacher to show it to the class. And I watched it at least two or three times a year until I was 12. . How embarrassing.

Here's the picture of the un photoshopped poster they used in The Warrior DVD.If you look at The Warrior DVD, it's the same exact poster, same date and arena, same matches except Michaels' picture is there and he's facing Vader. Amusingly enough, the house show took place after Warrior left IIRC. Edit: Man $20 for floor tickets to a house show. Those were the days. The last house show that came here, the floor seats were $60. But I digress.

Oh I can't believe I forgot what may be my greatest mundane sports achievement. 7th grade gym class, we're playing dodgeball and my team is getting its ass kicked six ways to Sunday. Finally, I'm the only one left against two-thirds of the opposing team (about 10-15 kids). I manage to dodge a few balls and a jock throws one right at my chest and I know I'm a goner. I put my hands out just to soften the blow and somehow I catch it and the rest of my team comes and proceeds to kick the other teams ass.

Man I just ate Pizza Hut for the first time in a year or two (I got a coupon for a free one topping personal pan pizza after I donated blood) and I'm feeling a bit queasy. And all I had was a sausage personal pan pizza and a small order of cheesy breadsticks.

I get along with my immediate family very well. Used to resent my older brother for a couple years but I'm way over that. I must say though I get along with my dad's side of the family more than my mom's. Not that I dislike my mom's side just don't see them more than 2 or 3 times a year (Compared to the whopping 5 or 6 times a year I see my dad's side).

Incidentally, I'm also seeing those two movies this week. Gangster this Tuesday and No Country For Old Men on Wednesday (opening day here in Portland, ME). Also if all goes well, I'll see The King of Kong at the local art house cinema on Friday or Saturday. Between these three movies and the two Thanksgivings I'm having, this is going to be a hell of a week.

I legit enjoy "Wonderful Christmastime" and "Feliz Navidad" so uh go fuck yourself! I can't explain the former- I guess it's my love of McCartney and synthesizers and yuletide music. Another guilty pleasure Christmas song- Hall and Oates cover of "Jingle Bell Rock"

Haven't seen Bottle Rocket yet but my brother owns it on DVD so I should watch it sometime next weekend. My list of what I've seen 1. Royal Tennebaums 2. The Darjeeling Limited 3. The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou 4. Rushmore I might have to watch Rushmore again. I liked it well enough but I guess I must have had high expectations or somethin'.

I failed to mention Bing Crosby and David Bowie- Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth. I love that one especially the awkward forced banter at the beginning.

30 Rock is on Monday not tonight and I think you have to go down there and stand in line to get the tickets.

I don't think the random ass short lived tag team of Horowitz and Hakushi helped out either party. Now this may be one for the Old School Questions thread but since I'm lazy I'll ask here, how in the hell did aforementioned team come about?
