Yeah it's about 4 o'clock and I woke up at around 10 and all I've had is a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, some Utz Honey BBQ chips, a glass of Cherry Coke and 3 or 4 glasses of water. Yet, I'm not all that hungry. For some reason, I think overall I eat less during the summer. Tonight I'll probably hit up Amato's (Sandwich shop chain based here in Maine. Think it has places in Massachusetts and Vermont now too. Good stuff) for supper.

Yeah, I also find this huge Simmons backlash to be bullshit. Bill Simmons to me is the sports column equivalent of The Simpsons. Yeah he's gone downhill quite a bit in the past year or two (Yeah, I know The Simpsons have been going downhill for the past decade) but he's still better than 90% of his peers and he still can come up with a genuinely hilarious column now and then. And I actually kind of like the podcast.

I'm excited cause this has to mean the 90s revival is starting. It'll only be a matter of time till we see the "Alt Rock Never Stops" tour featuring Third Eye Blind, Candlebox, Sugar Ray and opener, Dishwalla.
-
Well, he also guest starred on Baywatch.

The cameos by the singer of Smash Mouth and Tek from The Real World Hawaii in that were so inexplicable.

I don't know why but Spaghetti Os gave me really, really putrid smelling gas. And I haven't eaten them in 9/10 years as a result. Just as well since they kind of suck. Now let's talk Lunchables. I now they're still around but man I always wanted them as a kid and never got them until I was like 11. Boy was I disappointed. It's one of those things that seems OK in theory but awful in execution. Those things are terrible, just terrible. But I probably would have liked 'em well enough if I had them when I was 6.

Outside a couple of movies, Jason Lee really has a pathetic film career. I mean he's in Underdog too.
-
Maybe I'm just a fatass but I was slightly disappointed when I saw and ate the Quad Stacker. I mean it was still a fuckload of burger but I don't know I was expecting a bit more.

I'm telling ya right now, Neidhart will outlive them all. He will be to the Hart Foundation what Joey Bishop is to the Rat Pack.

God fucking dammit! One of my all time favorites! This is the first time a death has made me speechless since Hartman. RIP Crippler, you'll never be forgotten. -
Yeah, I was about to say that the only place that has Fruitopia is McDonalds. And even then, it's only some McDonalds I think. I've only seen it at two random ones.
-
Oh yeah, I remember those. I used to love those things. I've seen them around occassionally while traveling through New York and Connecticut but they haven't been around here in The Southern Maine area for at least five years. I think my mom pretty much stopped going to McDonalds after they got rid of the fajitas.

I'm probably going to see Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter on Friday night. I just found out about it last night. I'm not sure what to expect, whether it's going to be stand up or sketch/improv(Hopefully the latter). But I'm a fan enough of them to spend $15 to buy a ticket to it.

TGI Fridays still puts out Potato Skins chips IIRC. They're decent. Has Fruitopia been mentioned yet? I used to love it back in elementary school but man after I was 12 or so, I got really sick of that sugary crap. Still for some reason, I get incredibly nostalgic for it and if I saw a bottle, I'd buy it in a heartbeat

Not to mention- The Texas Tornado's incredibly memorable run! *sarcasm mode off* Speaking of that, I don't know if this is internet malarkey but I heard Davey Boy Smith was originally supposed to replace Beefcake in the match at SummerSlam '90 but he had visa problems or something, is there any truth to this or is it malarkey?

I loved Survivor Series '93 as a mark, probably one of my Top 5 shows back in the day. Heenan was really on that night, it's too bad he left WWF but his last PPV performance was a good one to go out on. Man, I hate Time Warner. I want some old school wrestling dammit!

IIRC, the first season of Family Matters didn't have Urkel on it. He debuted during the second season and even then, it took him a bit to become a regular.

I think The Oscars primary function these days, sad as it may seem to film goers, is as the "Gay Super Bowl". I can't even remember what won this year? The Departed I think Last year's was Crash and nobody likes that movie anymore!
-
Captain Lou Albano (This didn't work out), Gorilla Monsoon and James Dudley are three of 'em. I don't know if there were more.

Hot Fuzz and Knocked Up are my top two so far.

I bet nobody had Sensational Sherri.... correct?
-
Ooh it's on in seven minutes! I'll probably have it in the background when I'm doing my household chores.

The Sting in the rafters angle is one of those angles that was way better at the time watching it as a mark than looking back at it from a smart perspective. They really dragged that angle on for too long and we all know how terrible the payoff was.

Carl's Jr./Hardee's has a new burger that's like the hula burger. There's this local mom and pop burger place I frequent that has a Hula Burger. Never bothered to try it though.
