After The WWE releases an incriminating DVD on Savage, Savage appears on TNA to respond to the allegations and engage in wacky shenanigans with VKM.

People have been saying that since 2003. Sadly, I don't think it shows no signs on ending anytime within the next year or two. Here's my prediction; There won't be a One Night Stand III, at least it won't be this year. The WWE will slightly reduce the number of pay per views.

So...who's up for another movie that shouldn't be made?

Poor Eugene Levy? More like for shame Eugene Levy I wonder how often Eugene Levy sits on the set of movies like those and The Man and New York Minute and wonders "When is Christopher Guest going to make another movie?" I love Eugene Levy but he needs to fire his agent. -

With Norman Fell as Zeus I used to talk highly of a nonexistant movie called "Sledgehammer", which was from the late 80s and starred Danny DeVito and Chevy Chase as construction workers with Frank Langella as an evil corporate tycoon. My friend looked at every video store in town to try to find the movie. -
I would so mark out for a Jung Dragons reunion!

Quick question; were there any future plans for The Ultimate Warrior after Halloween Havoc '98? Or did they just assume he'd flip out again and leave? -

I'm a big DDP mark as well. I really really enjoyed his three way feud with Chris Benoit and Raven in 98, some great great matches came out of it. He also had **** matches with Goldberg and a past his prime Savage, so I have to give props to DDP. -
Besides, hasn't William H. Macy been in like three movies since The Cooler? One of which being Doogal. William H. Macy always manages to kick ass in everything he's in....well except Doogal. Haven't seen Edmond yet but eventually will on HBO or DVD.

When the fuck is Fountains of Wayne's next album going to come out?

How embarrassing is it that when I was a wee mark that I thought Jeff Jarrett's "Ain't I Great?" was a real album and I looked for it in several music stores wanting to buy it? I remember WWF did a review of the album (I think it was Vince Russo oddly enough) where they mentioned some of the "tracks" -
Don't know if this is on here, but here's the Summerslam '97 pay per view video package (Life isn't fair...) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uXTdkjfRUA...ted&search=

I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked the SNL Digital Short last night. "I'll rip your jaw off!"

Road House 2 with Jake Busey as the villain who killed James Dalton and now James Dalton's kid (played by Jonathan Scaech IIRC) is out for revenge! -
Dick Dale maybe? I dunno.

Haven't been to many shows this year either (Five by my count and two were Bob Dylan shows) so here's my top three. 3. Guster/Ray LaMontagne, August 19th, Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine. Really good show but a bit odd since the acts were such a drastic styles clash. LaMontagne played a more quiet, intricate folksy set that was quite good but I was constantly annoyed by teenage girls saying "God this is so BORING! When's Guster coming on?" every ten seconds. Guster came on and played a great show which had a surprisingly cool light show. Rogue Wave opened and they were decent as well, though again The Guster fans annoyed the hell out of me "Who are these guys?" I swear two-thirds of Guster fans are incredibly polite but the other third are a bunch of the most obnoxious frat boys and sorority sisters I've ever came across in my life at a concert. 2. Ben Folds, April 3rd, The Maine Center of Arts in Orono, Maine. Just a flat out great show. He played for nearly three hours on a Monday night in the middle of nowhere in Maine. Really impressed me. Setlist was good too; a combination of rarities, solo shit and stuff he did with the Five. 1. Bob Dylan/ The Raconteurs, November 9th, Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine. Bob Dylan, sold out arena, The Raconteurs opening. 'nuff said. Just a hot, hot show.

And for that matter, the entirely unrrelated and short lived "sister" series "That 80s Show" -
Semi- off topic but Humble Pie is a damn underrated blues rock band. "30 Days in The Hole" is a classic.

Call me crazy (and you will) but I thought the Leprechaun series got better over time. Not saying any of them were truly decent films, even by horror standards but the first two tried to take themselves seriously. But as it went on, each film got more and more of a sense of self-awareness and more of a sense of "Fuck it! We're talking about killer leprauchauns, let's try to have some fun." -

RE: The Wire-Deadwood: Which is a better show debate. On the season finale of The Wire on Sunday (or whenever if you have HBO on Demand like I do), there is what I thought was a subtle jab at Deadwood. When Cutty is laying in the hospital bed, the old guy in the bed next to his is watching Deadwood on TV and he chuckles and is like "Hehe he said cocksucker." and Cutty gives him an annoyed look. -
I heard "Father Christmas" by The Kinks on the radio this morning. I'm going to have to add that near the top of my list of "Best Christmas Songs"

We got a small snowstorm here this morning and there was ice too. Windchill was the worst. Ye gods. I always refuse to put on a hat and gloves during the first really really cold day of winter. Don't know why...

I lurked for a long time before I joined in July '02. I also discovered the site through Wrestleline. I think I racked up 1500 posts in my first year on the board and then I gradually posted less and less on this board
